eat shit, ameritard
Oh shit! I haven't seen one in years. It's an address/phone listing thing. If you want to look up the Johnson family, you'd slide the arrow thing to "IJ", then push the lever at the bottom, and the top would flip up, opening it up to the right page where the Johnsons names, address, phone number, etc. were all written down.
I think my mom and dad had one, but they never really used it much.
europoor mudslime
I love them! But not many cars have the option now.
And I'm not American. A bit higher up...
...
Behold! The original cable TV box. 1970's?

Remember when this was THE thing to have? It's amazing how many things have been replaced by cell phones: music players, watches, GPS, cameras.....Jesus.
It's funny because I don't know if it's true.
Can't even use this shit as farm equipment.
This nigga I swear

It's a thermostat, retard.
What fucking thermostat only goes up to 42 degrees?
Not a thermostat.

That's not the original
Beta was never obsolete, and was used in all tv stations until digital took over. It had a much higher quality over vhs
...
...
...
Maybe not the original, but pretty fuckin' close!
Its celcius
"Get off the phone I need to use the computer"

For home use it was
A European one.
Ever heard of Celsius?
...
107 degrees Farenheit would kill a person.
It's a cable box.
...
What even IS this?
Image search it, retard. Early cable box. Hell, you can still buy 'em on ebay.
...
Are you me or are you an operationsfag, too?
GHH LF
Anyone remember what the dial on the side did?
keep crying bby
jesus fucking christ close some tabs would you
You can't even see the breadth of the issue. I have an ultrawide monitor.
The dial was how you moved the needle to tune in the station.
Betamax was actually more capable than VHS, but 1 hour per tape meant no movie could play all the way through, people went for convenience.
...
Yup
Thats why it was obsolete on the consumer market
Also, because it was cheaper, the porn companies went with VHS. Believe it or not, that actually doomed the format. When the regular movie release companies figured out what porn already knew, it was all over in a hurry.

Cool stuff, it's a machine for a mine?
Where is the mine
Remember the "war" between BluRay and HD-DVD? Of course, now Blu is pretty much obsolete as well. RIP physical media.
They still sell those ding dong
>thinking of getting one of these or something slightly newer.
Problem is, can't think of what I'd use it for...
...
>stickshift

Reeeeee
I still have one buried somewhere. I have no idea why. Hell, I still have an old cassette walkman and a Zune, for that matter.

No cell phone can replace Jesus, user.
