There is no free market when this ruling gives all the power to the establishment ISPs that laid the cables so long ago. They have regional oligopolies and even monopolies. You cannot simply start an ISP. That is bullshit now. Google has a chance but the costs of laying cables to your house will be expensive. 5g wireless internet might be the future, but we all know who has the infrastructure to make that happen.....the establishmeant ISPs
Cause in the US there is usually only one or two options of ISP so they can just price hike it up and usually they dump loads of money into trying to stamp out smaller ISPs resulting in no competition

net neutrality is what we have always had - it is merely maintaining the status quo. The ISPs are forced to just act as an impartial pipeline to deliver whatever content you want to access.

It's just kept companies from gaining too much control over the populace through the internet (poorly, in my opinion, in fact. Google and Amazon's data is more powerful than any other entity to ever exist-- they can topple whole nations with the data in their servers).
So, when net neutrality ends and you can't access Sup Forums anymore because you need to shill out 30 more bucks a month for the Comcast Adult Premium package on top of your standard cable, you'll know what I'm talking about
