When will he finally have a proper funeral and be laid to rest? His body is decaying, and it is only by the most extreme efforts that he is maintained in his current state. In fact, little of him remains that has not been replaced by cheap, artificial imitations that barely resemble the real thing. Would it not be simpler and easier to lay him to rest, and truly move on? We should not spend so much time worshiping a corpse.

Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Mao Beijing wgah'nagl fhtagn

canada pls, you don't understand

Never

are there any chinks who care about the corpse

I find that very unlikely. Must we remind you that not every Asian nation is Japan or SK. My home country is full of scum, filthy people. All the Otakus in the US would be cured of Yellow fever if they went to a real Asian nation.

Old people maybe. Doubt that the younger generation sees it as anything more than an amusing curiosity.

As if you're any better.

it's chinese to you

and no, not really

the maos grandchild got made fun of hard and meme'd by chinese internet users. hes a fatfuck and literally was treated that miserable way. considering this there doesnt seem to be a serious worship for these anymore.
i have to do it sometimes on purpose when i post early on a thread. its not like im willing to do it.

>MFW chink delegation came to my school
>They wanted to see Lenin
>But mausoleum was out of order
>They were so upset about this that they left Russia in the same day

Lenin was the best USSR leader.

The CCP has had an increasingly difficult time justifying their existence to young people, which is why in recent years they've fallen back on the tired old tack of promoting imperialistic ventures in the South China Sea and whatnot.

When Castro died, most of the kids in China didn't even know who the fuck he was, but grandpas were all like "Oh yeah Cuba are our socialist brothers united against imperialism."

>Cuba
>Spanish colony 1515 to 1898
>US colony 1899 to 1958
>Russian colony 1959 to 1990
>Venezuelan colony 1999 to present
...

Mao and Lenin should be cremated. Why do people want to stare at a useless corpse? Its autistic.

Friendly reminded that communism is autistic in the first place.

So much for resisting imperialism.

>After Mao Zedong's death on September 9, 1976, it was decided to place the body on display in imitation of Lenin. This was much against Mao's wishes--twenty years earlier, at the 8th Congress of the CCP, he had stated that all high-ranking party officials should be cremated.

>The Soviets were the world's experts on preserving a body for display, and had volunteered their expertise to mummify Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh, who had passed away in 1969 (also in spite of his wishes to be cremated). However, Sino-Soviet relations in the 1970s were at absolute rock bottom, hence this expertise was not available to China. The Chinese had to develop their own glass coffin for Mao, holding a design contest for one. Among other requirements, the coffin had to be earthquake-proof (seen as an important need coming a few months after the devastating Tientsin Earthquake).

>Embalming Mao's body also proved problematic as he had bloated considerably after death and various appendages, including his ears, had sagged and changed shape. The embalmers had to literally cut his suit open. One Soviet embalming expert remarked that "The job they did of preserving [Mao] was awful."

that would be gorbatsov

Gotta love how communists managed to take worship and veneration of a human being beyond that of even monarchies.

The man was a brutal moron, they should just throw that corpse in a garbage dump.

Considering that several of these guys (Lenin, Mao, Ho) didn't even want to be preserved like this.

>mfw the unavoidable blackout will last a few days longer than normal

Oh thank God they didn't do this with Franco.

That's Kim Il Sung, not Ho Chi Minh.

Meh funerals aren't really fir the dead either, it's for the people around them. Having said that it's fucking grotesque.

If you go and visit his grave though, you get put on a government watchlist and ANTIFAs will publicly spit on you every day for the rest of your life.

this pic seems fake

>At least 300 people died in the stampede to view Stalin after his death in March 1953. His body was embalmed and placed next to Lenin. As the doctor who had originally led the embalming of Lenin's body in 1924 had since passed away, the job went to his trained assistants/students.

>In March 1956, Nikita Khrushchev denounced Stalin as a tyrant who had persecuted loyal Soviet citizens and pursued a false cult of personality and one-man dictatorship. Although Stalin was discredited, his body remained on display alongside Lenin for the next five years. In 1961, the CPSU held a committee to discuss removal of the body. Testifying before the committee was an old woman who had joined the Bolshevik Party back in 1905 and claimed that Lenin had come to her in a dream and told her "I do not like lying next to Stalin, who brought so much grief to our party and our country."

>Stalin was removed and reburied in the Kremlin Wall next to other Soviet heroes in a modest grave partially obscured by trees. A small bust of him was added in 1971.

say hi to my gf :^)

bump

that's Kim Jong-il, not Kim Il-sung

>When will he finally have a proper funeral
