I'd let this virus fuck me.

Hexidecimal only needs her :O face when I'm around, etc. etc.

Hex>Daemon>Dot>Andraia>Mouse

Bigger question... Loli AndrAla or adult AndrAla?

Holy fuck the models they used on that show were such complete shit.

Game sprite Hexagon was the worst design though.

Dot with glasses was hottest though.

Yandere and dresses slutty. Oh yes I'd fuck a virus.

What happened in this show? Bad guy took over, Bob got kicked out into the internet, Enzo got older with that fish chick and they sailed the web for some reason looking for what?

Welp, time to go watch Reboot and have a shitload of nostalgia.

The crazy man... is a good soldier. He fucks everything that move.

They were trying to find their way back to Mainframe.

...

i would fuck anything that can look me into the eyes for more than 4 seconds

How did they lose it?

She'll mongle your disk.

Phong deleted Mainframe's web address to protect them from the Web Creatures that were attacking.

Web creatures were attacking? I thought the bad guy whose name I can't remember took over, crushed Glitch, tossed Bob into a portal, and basically won.

The series ended with Hexadecimal sacrificing herself to stop the Deamon virus from infecting Mainframe. She copied herself over the entire net and then exploded.

>Yandere
Nice.
I can easily imagine there's no way she'd let any meagre sprite get her hands on you.

That was Megabyte. He was the main badguy until he got deleted. Then Daemon was the main baddie when she infected the guardians into worshipping her.

Her goal was to make all software her so there would be order.

I am Daemon. I am not an entity I am a time. My time is now. The word is Cron.

No it didn't end this way, it ended up even more abrupt than that, and i'm fucking bummed to be left on such a cliffhanger

Google reboot streaming, i found a site where there were 4 seasons and 4th seasons ends at episode 8th

They are supposed to be doing an entire live action Reboot series next year but it's going to be shit imo

It's funny to think it took them months to render a single episode. The series went on hiatus because they were working on Beast Wars and they didn't have the computer power to render two series at the same time.

I could render an episode of reboot in better quality in real time on my laptop using Daz studio.

Live action Reboot is the stupidest idea I've ever heard.

I didn't know there were any episodes after Hexadecimal died, I thought that was it. What was the cliffhanger?

Google it, i'm not even trolling

ReBoot: the Guardian Code is an adventure-comedy series about four teens (Austin, Parker, Grey and Tamra) who discover that they're next-gen Guardians with a mission to save the world, by defending it in cyberspace.

Oh god.... why couldn't you be trolling. WHY COULDN'T YOU BE TROLLING?

Yes

Well this looks disappointing.

you do understand that CGI has progressed just a little since that show was made?

i suppose you hang around primary school sandpits, kicking over the little kids' sandcastles, muttering "these sandcastles are shit."

Maybe kids shouldn't build such shit sandcastles then.

mfw I discover there's going to be a live action Reboot.

What the everloving fuck?

it's funny to think i once spent two grand on a 180MB external hard drive the size of a shoebox that when you turned it on, sounded like a jet engine taking off.

i expect you're only just old enough to post on here.

...

I once paid that much for a 5MB hard drive for my Apple ][ plus.

mother of god what the fuck is that tell me thats not suppose to be reboot

Yep it's Reboot: The Guardian Code.

Basically they're turning Reboot into Power Rangers.

We have to save the world by hacking the Internet. ALL the Internets!

This means.... MAXIMUM OVERHACKING!!!

So how did the original Reboot tv show end?

>Basically they're turning Reboot into Power Rangers.
This doesn't sound like a very good direction to take the series.
At all.

...

What can you do. Studio executives are all idiots. Every last one of them.

Hexadecimal stops Daemon by sacrificing herself (and infecting the entire internet). That was probably a plot loop. Megabyte becomes a shape-shifting trojan virus and captures the principle's office. Phong gets infected by Megabyte. Having taken control again, Megabyte announces "Let the hunt begin" as the main characters flee.

I almost hope they try to do some bullshit like that. It would be (maybe unintentionally) fucking hilarious.

Sauce pls

>intriguing world of cyberspace filled with weird things that wouldn't be possible in reality
>nobody's actually human, everybody represents programs and coding in some form

>screw that, let's focus on teenagers with superpowers

I'm inclined to agree they're idiots.

It ends with Megabyte returning and taking over Mainframe controlling all the binomes and trying to track down the main characters who have fled into exile.

I guess YTV ordered a 26 episode season of The Guardian Code so we're stuck with that.

I wonder if it's actually going to have anything to do with the original Reboot or if it's just going to be using the name for marketing purposes.

...

>The series will act as both a continuation and reimagining of the original ReBoot television series and will feature a new cast, alongside a few familiar faces such as Bob, Dot Matrix and Enzo Matrix.
- ReBoot Wiki

I'm not totally sure what to make of that. A continuation yet reimagining?
But it seems it'll have a clear link to the original.

bitch lasagne

The original Mainframe computer would have probably be sold for scrap by now.

I can see Megabyte being all "YES! Finally I control Mainframe!"

And the user is all "I gotta get rid of that old Pentium 155mhz computer."

Sounds like Star Trek Discovery. Some of the original series but doesn't take place in the same continuity.

Oh. Yeah, that sounds like a good comparison.

You can tell Hex was the designers favourite since they put the most work into her character design.

And then Megabyte realized the horror of being part of quickly-developing technology.

That makes me think ReBoot would actually be suitable for some pretty bleak themes.

The funny thing is as a virus Megabyte can't win because if he fucks up the computer he's living on bad enough they'll either wipe it and go with a protected backup or they'll just trash the computer and get a new one.

He's ultimately fighting for his own destruction.

I imagine the entire series is taking place in a server farm somewhere. They visited wrecked computers in the 3rd season so I'd imagine they're just dodgy rack units that are waiting to be replaced.

Shit, for all we know Mainframe could be some old computer running Fortran that's being used to control traffic lights in some shitty little city that hasn't bothered to upgrade since the 80s because so far everything is working.

I will have to see an episode first and judge the writing and acting before I make a final decision.

The weird thing is binomes are shown using computers and laptops in the series so there could be a whole other sub-Reboot running below the surface of their world.

Looks like they're going full Saban. You never go full Saban.

>What can you do. Studio executives are all idiots. Every last one of them.

they have a choice to make. they can either stay true to the spirit of the original series, or they can make enough money to pay the wages for the people who make the show.

it's rare they can do both at the same time, which is why so much shit gets made.

it would be cool if he was trying to infect a new system and he found he couldn't, because it was running TempleOS or something he'd never seen before.

>it's rare they can do both at the same time
One has to wonder why that is.

more like they're turning it into superhuman samurai syber-squad

Or if he's a Windows 98 virus and he moves onto a Windows 10 machine that no longer has the exploit that allowed him to function in Windows 98. So he loses all his virus powers and just becomes an ordinary old sprite. He has to get a job so he becomes a clerk at some shitty spreadsheet but works his way up to middle management and gets married to a cute sprite in word processing and has kids and comes home from work tired and won't stop telling his kids about his glory days when he was a feared and respected virus, but his kids just see him as this loser in a loser job who won't stop living in the past.

Oh Tim Curry.... you should have saved your money.

This makes me feel depressed for Megabyte.

How the series should have ended.

1994 to 2001

Man, the advances in CG since then. Just imagine how much work had to go into making each episode, all those man hours slaving away on those primitive computers with that primitive software.

Things like Blender and Daz would probably look like magic to them. Maya would probably make their heads explode.

Every now and then I think about what it would be like if I travelled somehow in time and reentered my past self and got to live my life over and how much money I could make investing in Google and Apple, especially buying stock when Apple was tanking in the 90s.

But then I think just how fucking frustrating it would be having to use that old technology all over again knowing what computers are like now.

1994 I was using an Atari ST as my computer. I upgraded to a 486 in 1996 then got a Pentium in 2001.

I'd probably go insane if I had to go back to that... although some of the games were really fun.

Teenage Dot Matrix is best gril tho
