rain is a great song but its not even top 20, its a throwaway mid-psych lennon tune with a weak chorus
Josiah Campbell
Best drumming on a Beatles track and arguably the best bassline. It's a strong contender.
Cameron Thomas
i agree about the drumming
Aaron Collins
>rain #1 >she loves you ahead of most of revolver
Henry Evans
She Loves You is a near perfect pop song. Explosive drumming and fantastic chords. Pretty much set the standard for great fast paced pop songs, even to this day.
Nicholas Jackson
>1. Rain
You were doing so well OP
Easton Hernandez
Beatles fucking suck
Thomas White
swap rain and a day in the life and you're good
rain is top 5 but definitely not 1
Leo Garcia
come on now. It's dross in comparison to so much of their other work, just my opinion but i find it far weaker than their later works
Eli Foster
rain is incredible
Julian Lee
Fair enough, but I'm not alone in thinking so highly of it. It almost always makes the top 10 of critics and publications' lists. I know that doesn't mean anything neccessarily, but I believe it is considered one of their greatest songs for a reason.
It's the very essence of what made them the biggest selling band in the world. Fantastic hook, great vocal harmonies, lovely chord played by Harrison after the chorus, and a relentless energy that makes it irresistible. The way it opens with that trademark drum roll and then goes straight into the chorus hammers that last point home. It set a blueprint for pop songs which is still used today.
James Myers
Some nice choices, i agree but no Martha My Dear and Glass Onion or Mean Mr. Mustard? What the fuck OP?
Easton Turner
Mean Mr Mustard is included at number 13
Elijah Ortiz
Change 6,5,4 to 3,2,1 and we're totally in agreement.
Oliver Lee
she loves you is better than anything on revolver
Connor Cruz
Not correct, but a respectable list. Nice job including You Know My Name.
Aiden Morales
>Songs to delete For No One Yesterday In My Life. Those are three of their WORST songs.
I'm glad to see that you put You Know My Name (Look Up The Number) as I feel that's highly underrated But I think songs like It's Only A Northern Song, It's All Too Much, Blue Jay Way, Strawberry Fields Forever, If You've Got Troubles, Honey Don't, Don't Bother Me, Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby, What Goes On, and the MONO version of Getting Better should be in the next list. And if you haven't heard it, try to find the version of baby You're a Rich Man from the GERMAN version of Magical Mystery Tour. (The is just my personal opinion, and shouldn't be taken as fact or universal truth)
Easton Gutierrez
Lucy In the Sky at number 47 rather than being in the top 10 like it should be? because it's their most psychedelic song? Come on mate
Landon Cruz

Tyler Green
Where the fuck is It’s All Too Much?
Oliver Moore
I'd like to see a greatest hits of the first 5 albums lets say 14 songs
Jordan Sullivan
If anyone could point out which of these are from the first 5 albums I'd appreciate it.
Joseph Scott
Hard days night Blackbird I saw her standing there I want to hold your hand Help Ive just seen a face Yesterday She loves you Ticket to ride
Connor Hernandez
Awesome thanks but isn't Blackbird from the white album?
I like literally every song you posted and they were all considered, especially Blue Jay Way. Their 100th best song is still great, I just felt like 50 was enough. Strawberry Fields is there though, it's literally #2.
I love the production and lyrics but I feel like it's a tad longer than it needs to be and the chorus is a bit weak compared to the fantastic verses.
Dominic Thomas
She Loves You is a pretty good track compared to most of their early stuff, I don't know what you're on about. >also nice digits, checked
John Ortiz
God damn the bass is sexy on that song
Charles Hughes
>no While My Guitar Gently Weeps Disappointed in you user.
Colton Brooks
Overrated tbqh
Hunter Smith
Someone else at least should do this. The OP barely has half this. This is where the challenge is.
Justin Robinson
Not really, it's their best song.
Aiden Carter
I think it's overrated by the anthology version is amazing.
