what about taiwan and hong kong?

>The Fence

>walled
I wish.

>Greece
>first world

Ultra small exceptions that don't really matter in the big picture, but I guess they can join this thread too.

Hong Kong is owned by China anyways.

Lol 3rd worlder

This thread will be 90% first-world countries saying that other first-world countries aren't actually first-world

Or we could just shit talk the 3rd world countries and argue why they are so shit.

>A fucking fence

>wall
*drives right into texas and buys lone star*
*drives back to mexico in stolen tricycle*
*smuggles shit trough non-existant border and proceeds to eat at macdonalds (don't leave tip tho)*
*decide to settle in california*
*50 years have passed and the wall still didn't get built*

Taiwan has more people than Austria or the Netherlands or Belgium.

It has about as many people as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland combined.

Small in terms of GDP per population.

Its GDP per capita is higher than Britain, France, or Canada's.

>PPP
Doesn't count.

Taiwan's a high population with low total GDP.

Adding it doesn't increase the case the picture was trying to suggest.

Did you get this map at an archeological dig?

You upset you're not on the map?

I guess Poland can be allowed in this thread, but just know that you're not really 1st world.

...

>Including Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Australia

Hahahahahahahaga

>>PPP
>Doesn't count.

Why.

BTW even without PPP it's still at least higher than Greece.

PPP is a poor indicator of actual development and marginalize the actual requirements to be considered 1st world.

Going by PPP means many other countries that aren't really that rich will appear rich solely because they can afford basic living. Let's take Hong Kong for example: It has a high PPP per capita, but most of that is due to the need for high wages to cover up for their insane rents there. But in reality quality of life is rather poor. Most of the people there will never own a house, drive or own a car, or a host of other things an average American takes for granted.

I'm mostly upset that someone's posting decade old maps.

It's just a picture. Not really the content on the post nor the objective of the thread.

Stop being butt hurt.
