108 stitches on a baseball etc.
Great hardcore band too
Someone post an underground thrash metal chart
Let's go by year. Where should we start? 82?
...
What a handsome young man
What's some good metal with not-english lyrics.
Bonus points: Not french

Go to bed Kreator
God I love Death Metal, and I'm not ashamed to it.
I don't post much on Sup Forums because work, and listening to metal, but finally I've found some time for you goys.
Like usual, name me a country, and I'll recommend stuff, plus some info about the scene.
Yes, I will watch it.
Up all night, sleep all day, alright?
Austria.
Currently listening to Bestial Deform from Russia
youtube.com
While also watching some documentary about Stalin with subtitles
Greenland
>mom found the bad dragon dildo
metal for this feel?
"Kill Yourself" by SOD
...
"Loser" by Ayreon
Mütiilation - Remains of A Ruined, Dead, Cursed Soul
Okie dokie
Austria have certain similarities to Czech scene in regards to the fact that both countries like some Grinding in their Metal. Obviously, Austria is more developed and as such, like Germany, they evolved from Thrash / Speed Metal roots.
It's also worth noting that Hungary copied the Austrian style to some extent.
Next post, recommendations.
I used to know some hard rock / classic heavy metal bands (mostly from Metal archives). They are a very modest countries. I remember reading about a band that had a hard rock album being funded by the whole village. The songs were about Greenland culture and animals living there. Don't remember much about the name nor music. I can't recommend DM bands from Greenland, because they don't exist, but they DO have a small, but good rock scene.
Stop spamming this
So you failed the first try. Thanks for playing. Stay pleb
Love,
Greenland
Belice
>Tempel
>The Perfect Mass
What do you mean "they don't exist"? And that's just bands that can be classified as Death Metal.
IN EVERY WINTER
I FEEL SO OLD
SO VERY OLD
AS THE NIIGHT
keep in mind that my main specialization is DM, so if you want some BM or Thrash, you have to ask someone else, albeit I usually also try to get a bigger picture of the country.
The most obvious bands first
Belphegor (black / death, blackened death, deathened black)
youtube.com
youtube.com
Broken Torso
youtube.com
youtube.com
more next post, since I got some attention, and I want to answer some questions.
Feel free to educate me, as I always like to learn more
From Belize I actually still read some books.
Surprisingly, they were pretty much silent, but they are still better than Guyana countries
They only recently started giving some metal bands, so I'm not really interested in them, but Lasher Zombie got some notoriety
youtube.com
youtube.com
to be honest, I mostly dig the 90s as these bands were more genuine in how they played.
Nowadays it's easier to be a band from Laos, or other obscure countries, but the really good bands, they were already active in XX century.
I checked the band (Perfect Mass) that you mentioned and it's Melodic Death / Black / Heavy / whatever, which is exactly what I consider a problem, because while it can be good musically, this is not what I'm looking for.
And they released an album in 2016, which is too fresh to be recommended. I tend to name bands that are veterans, or pioneers in their scene.
Take for example Pharaons from Madagascar
youtube.com
They were horrible, but at the same time, they had that something that makes them more interesting than most of modern bands.
Japan
Slovakia
Spain
death metal guy is like the wonderbeast of death metal in that he's too pure and contributes too well to shitpost against

No, Greenland must remain kvlt
okay, onto the Austria

limit reached
okay, after I'm done with Austria
already covered it long time ago, but I will again. Their scenes are much cooler than people know.
The reason for that is because I spend time listening on music rather than posting on Sup Forums, not that there is anything wrong about that. But people concentrate too much on the memes.
See
God Mode: don't use anything from this chart
Fetish 69 isn't death metal
Pungent Stench (mandatory)
youtube.com
Ravenous
youtube.com
(they are more Thrash than Death, but very recommendable)
Raydead
youtube.com
(not necessarily good, but a very early band, therefore has this strong Thrash influence, albeit they are very sloppy)
Septicemia
youtube.com
Sturdy Taste
youtube.com
(I usually don't recommend demo bands, but this one is an exception)
Visceral Evisceration (that's some fine trolling, the name, cover art scream "Goregrind", but they actually play doom / death)
youtube.com
EASY PEASY. Hah, Spain had like 3 cult (or more) labels, there is enough stuff to choose from. I have over 60 great bands in my database
Romania
Andorra
avulsed is good but ritual zombi is their weakest release so far
The Vatican
Persefone and, uhm....
That's just, like, your opinion, man.
And Nami. If there are any others, they are so obscure I doubt anyone outside of the country has ever heard of them.
Which is between France and Germany right? Does the band lean more towards one country or is the country truly separate? I hear they're really isolated by the mountains.
Uh, Andorra isn't between France and Germany.
France and Spain
They were close enough on that album to be considered one, especially that guy from Pungent Stench was providing guitars. I agree that they are more Industrial than Death, but sometimes I do post some borderline stuff, to show how much that genre influenced other.
JAPAN
They liked Glam Rock, probably because of the visual key. To be honest, it is a little disappointing that there aren't more extreme bands from that country. I'm still torn about bands like Massground, because they aren't good, but on the other hand, they had a certain feel.
Anyway, from the vault of Nippon
honorary mention
Aion - Deathrash bound
youtube.com
Proto-death, with stronger Speed / Thrash influences, albeit the Death parts might be actually very well considered Punk influence, their other releases were different.
Deathpeed
youtube.com
(They had neat compilation of their demos)
Defiled
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
Eroded
youtube.com
(this one I actually learned from Sup Forums)
Gabish (so-so band, but still the better offering from Japan)
youtube.com
Gibbed
youtube.com
also, nice split with Multiplex, and Satanic Hellslaughter
youtube.com
also, talking about splits and comps, get this one from soulseek
To the Marrow ~Japanese Deathnology 撹乱~
Goats (can't find currently much on youtube

Soulseek is your friend here
fucking limit
Nope. And frankly, I would hardly considered it country.
Thanks for helping me out.
What makes metal so nationally diverse?
Most of my rock music comes form US, UK and some Western European countries, but there is notable metal from every European country and many other parts of the world
Argentina
cont. japan
Hellchild
youtube.com
youtube.com
Intestine Baalism, but it's too obvious
Maggoty Corpse
youtube.com
Messiah Death
youtube.com
Multiplex (very cold industrial Death, like Eroded)
youtube.com
Necro-E (pretty odd band)
youtube.com
Necrophile
youtube.com
S.O.B. (people will argue me, but they were a Grindcore band that flirted with extreme sounds)
youtube.com
youtube.com
Subconscious Terror
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
Terror Fector (more of a rough raw Thrash, but still good)
youtube.com
Transgressor
youtube.com
Voidd (they changed style to Psychobilly)
youtube.com
aand Vomit Remnants.
next, Spain
Add these to the Jap stuff: Criminal Christ and Nausea.
Also Eroded changed name to 324 (grindcore), Maggoty Corpse became Clotted Symmetric Sexual Organ (grindcore), guitarist also play in Butcher ABC. Nausea is related to Unholy Grave, Gibbed, Dethpeed, C.C. is related to Messiah Death & Transgressor.
this is not a blog, massive faglord
i snorted a bunch of mollys ince i hate my life. give me some metla for this feel . pls bros.
Windir
Rude
eat some glass and KYS asshat

If we talk about Spain, we have to talk about Drowned records, Repulse, and Anaconda (beside Xtreem recs, who reissue some gems from Spanish scene)
So, ignoring the bands posted thereWe still have a shitload of bands to post
In regards to the style, Spain likes their DM very grindy, but without the Punk influence, if it makes sense. They also try to venture into Prog / Tech, but mostly, they like their DM very grinding.
Some of the stuff I will post, will be from bandcamp as well
Absorbed - Reverie
This bands deserve to replace some band from that chart for sure
youtube.com
Aggressor
youtube.com
Amalthea
youtube.com
Anaemia
youtube.com
I learned about them this week, they are something of a side-project of the Avulsed / Christ Denied guys.
I will investigate them for sure, thanks. I don't have aversion to Grindcore, but very often these bands also put more Punk influence. There is also this band Unholy Grave (?) if I remember correctly, but I was afraid to touch them, because they have massive discography.
Antropomorfia
youtube.com
This band went through a lot of hardships to release the album and I respect that
Caustic
youtube.com
Not necessarily sure on this one, as they tend to be overly brutal.
Chococrispis (yup)
youtube.com
youtube.com
Their albums are weird, though, and I don't know if I should post them.
Corrupt Soul
youtube.com
Dekapitated - Hidden Life
(nothing on yt, shame)
Desecrate
youtube.com
Elbereth
youtube.com
what a fuckable poor aged mate
You get brownie points for Chococrispis, considering what some of those guys are up to now.
Don't be afraid, just pick one of their releases, most of them sound the same, varying in rawness and crazy vocals.
youtube.com
Dormanth
youtube.com
The band recently returned
Doomsday
youtube.com
youtube.com
Their demos are kinda superior
Dismal
youtube.com
(split with Terminal Disease)
They changed into Nu Metal, but during the transision, they did a very weird song
youtube.com
It's kinda funny now that they posted song the song as ((((Wake Up))))
Eroded
youtube.com
Expiration
youtube.com
They changed name to Xpration (or sth) and released a so-so album with broken english (just like mine).
Extreme Masturbation
youtube.com
Their name is misleading for sure, and yeah, I'm not going to post everything by Drowned Recs, but some of their best.
Feretrum
youtube.com
Now, explain yourself Sup Forums, because this album, despite being "obscure" is one hell of a classic of the scene.
Frustradiccion
youtube.com
Haemorrhage
Probably their Deadliest
youtube.com
Golgotha
youtube.com
Hellbound
youtube.com
Greenfly
youtube.com
This band is undeservedly obscure, considering that their album was released on Morbid Recs, and the members were from other, notable bands
Human Waste

(thank you Xtreem)
Inertial Mass
youtube.com
Impure
youtube.com
Brutal as fuck
Infestus
xtreemmusic.bandcamp.com
They are really a good band, even with their albums. It's just that a lot of purists will probably not enjoy them.
Spain had a killer grindcore scene in the late 80's/early 90's, plenty of deathgrind too.
Pic related.

More Thrash, but still Death enough for this list.
Neuntotet
xtreemmusic.bandcamp.com
I admit that I follow the reissues by Xtreem.
I was about to post that band. They returned and released an album. And if you read my post, I actually mention that DM in Spain had Grindcore, but the scene takes the metal influence from Grindcore, and throws away the punk
Rottest Slag
youtube.com
Only Chuck is real
My guess is that being a more niche genre, metal bands from more countries can gain some recognition. With rock music being more easy to digest, artists can be easily picked up by major labels (usually labels from the countries you mentioned) and get the chance to become big. Metal labels are not as constrained, so they can pick up artists from all over the world. One example which comes to my mind is Code666, which is from Italy, but has bands from a lot of European countries
AOTY

AND YET, Spanish scene is not as recognized as Finnish, nor Polish.
It's community. Metal fans just are curious about other people, we don't follow trends, and we really love music, it's not a background noise for us, nor a product, like it is for other people. Same used to be true for Punks.
Russia
SLOVAKIA
Stylistically, hybrid between Czech grind, and Polish Brutal Death Metal
I will start with my recent discover
Satyr

There are mp3 there. Probably the earliest Death / Thrash band in that country. Extremely obscure, but in my opinion good enough to recommend.

They have very similar style to Hungary, in a way that they like Groove and Metalcore. With that said, they still have some quality bands
Label to check

I can't believe that nobody from Romania uploaded this one on yt. Shame on you, because this band should be important for the scene, considering their long history, and being one of the few bands to still be going.
