Hmm... Personally I'd say for you to start with either Halfaxa or Art Angels, which were the most addicting for me, Halfaxa is witch house and Art Angels is... the poppiest of her works, yet one of the most impressive ones.

Tho all her albums are good. Darkbloom has some really good dream pop tracks plus some experimental ones. It's a split and only 6 tracks belong to her but the rest of the album is quite enjoyable anyway.

Literally all of my exes have had short hair. I'm pretty sure I have some sort of blessing attached to me because even if they had long hair, they cut it during the relationship. Would post proof but I'll just post my seasonal waifu cause I'm too tired to look for said proof.

It would, maybe no need to rating, just a quirky note like "nice drumming". Personally I never give numerical ratings to albums (except 10/10s where it's due, like ITAOTS and Cosmic Surgery), because my opinions are so volatile I would end up changing the ratings all the time and being unhappy about them.

Dude exactly, that's how I figured out I couldn't give numerical ratings, at some point I got pist and removed all my MAL ratings except once again, the personal 10's.

Likely, I really loved one of his albums back when I barely cared about music. It also turned out to be Sup Forumscore for a while.

And recently some vid was published with some information om how it was made, turns out a lot of the percussion is actually highly treated samples from Metal Gear Solid and the dude didn't even use a DAW, he just made his songs from scratch in a simple waveform editor (like audacity).

If you're any familiar with the movie Twin Peaks you'll be pleased to know that Xiu Xiu covered it's entire soundtrack. One of my favourite songs from them also happens to be one of the easiest ones to get into, at least in my opinion :shrug:
