Musician (starting in 2018)
I love the creating stuff and performing, making people have fun/get hyped.
I dislike the ridicule you receive at every corner. Both from myself and from others. I often feel that what I hear in my head can't be put into the track. Which is why I'm starting in 2018. I put out 3 songs but tbh they aren't the quality I want. In 2018 I'm gonna start producing my own beats and going to studios to have it professionally recorded. Save the money form the beat and spend it on the studio time instead.

Also salary is in the negatives because I'm investing in my music. So hopefully I have a good Return on my investment.

it needs to be said, im in a lot better position than it sounds. wife also works there, same shift, same pay, and each of our last parents died last year. my dad left me 100k and her mom left her 150k. thankfully they had insurance so they left us with less than 10k med bills. we bought a brand new 6/3 house in the small town we live in for 150k and a brand new minivan for 30k. the rest we put into savings. we have decent insurance and live in a 6400 sqft house in the cheapest town in the state. monthly bills are less than 400 bucks not including food, which is another 300 a month or so. we have 3 days off a week and we are major gamers so we just play ARK, WoW, BF4, Diablo, D&D with several of our co-workers. Pretty good life.

that depends heavily on what he is trained for and what city/state he works in. My brother is an ER charge nurse in the twin cities making about 80-90k a year, but if he hadnt gone into the ER field, he'd be making about what user is, or if he lived in a smaller city too.

Same. I give everybody a chance, but lazy white/asian employees I fire easily. I made around $40k at the bus job in just my first year, with another $5k in the 401k. And I did that at the bottom rate, not even the full rate yet. No real boss unless I totally fuck up, most teachers just leave a video or busy work, teachers typically only work 4-5 periods a day (6 max) out of 9 so I get to just sit on my ass and do nothing those empty periods, if I don't want to work I just don't take a job that day and it's no one else's business, I also do an after school hw club for elementary kids at the teacher's hourly rate ($67), no goddamn coworkers
>Cons (there are a few)
I'm not certified so I'm restricted in the number of days I can work; basically an independent contractor so no benefits or paid leave/sick days; a bit stressful trying to learn lesson plans and teach material (when necessary) within about 5 minutes; ALWAYS GETTING FUCKING SICK FROM THESE FUCKING GROSS SHITS; also, not that viable long term.
>$125 a day + $67/hour for any after school club I run (1 hour a day, 4 days a week... so $268 extra for 4 hours of work)

All in all, it's easy as fuck and I'd recommend it to anyone with open time during the day. You only work when you want to, can work multiple districts, it isn't that difficult to control a classroom, and you can do extra work or just read or something while the kids work or during off periods. Personally, I read or work on articles I'm submitting for publication. Sometimes I actually teach, but that's easy because I'm not retarded and it isn't the norm.

I'd only avoid elementary. Germs everywhere and they only get lunch off.

With US tax rates where they are, shouldn't you be making something north of $100k after tax? You can afford more than that.

Im good at digging for it i guess. I found people like semi big business owners without knowledge of tech who will pay out the ass for a good website and i know a guy who helps out a gov agency with shit and he comes to me if he cant fix something with his program or website and thats usually a bonus $400-$700

>and able to keep our family healthy
a nurse nurses, they don't diagnose or prescribe.
>To not cheat.
Unless you are also in the medical field, that would be kind of difficult. Nurses can get just as alienated from things outside of medicine as physicians do. They will spend more time with other people at work than with their family. Leads to cheating eventually.

I personally can't see myself dating a guy who's not either a nurse or a doctor, simply because the shifts are too long, the hours are too fucked up, you hardly have time for anything and it would be difficult to find someone not in the field who's able to be understanding and not demand things you can't give them, like healthy hours and time. I think most relationships regarding people in the medical field with those who are not in the field end up failing because of it. More than half the time, cheating is involved (either party).

I know there are exceptions, but it's not common.

I started when i was around 14
