There's nothing wrong with it, you all are just virgin fags

normie doesn't mean bad. usually it's the contrary

Was Trevor really in the wrong?

This album is 5/10. It would've been better if you posted lonerism

If nobody gave a fuck about this album, you mother fuckers would rate it as an essential Sup Forums-core album and jizz all over yourselves over it

Andy Warhol and The Banana peelers

its not that good
let it happen overstays its welcome too long.
im a man sucks ass
yes im changing just kills any substance i have with kevin's poor lyrics at the start
past life meh
love/paranoia starts out with a great synth then it becomes lacklust

6/10 at best

why not just listen to washed out?
youtube.com/watch?v=hkV-loGS-eI

I think it's good but it's not close to a 10 even by normie standards

he literally just said it was 10/10, ffs

It's 5/10 middle of the road. No instrument stands out as particularly good. The players aren't actually as skilled or creative as the dadrock they're replicating. The singer hides his lack of talent behind a vocal effect for the entire album. The only thing the album has going for it as stand out is instrumental timbre and you can buy that off the shelf at guitar center.

...

kevin recorded everything by himself

>let it happen overstays its welcome too long
>yes im changing just kills any substance i have with kevin's poor lyrics at the start
>love/paranoia starts out with a great synth then it becomes lacklust
Jfc kys pleb

Clearly he shouldn't have then. He should focus at being good at one thing rather than mediocre at everything.

your personal, subjective opinion is noted. I disagree with most of what you said.

Bait

Ya'll haters got some shit taste.

One of my favorite albums of all time, better then even TI's other albums (which are good/great).

The instrumentals are melodic and danceable as fuck, the lyrics are relatable as fuck.
Whole damn thing speaks to me like only a few other albums do.

at least post something better than washed out if you want to make a point

>any Audioslave album
>good
wew lad

but the bass is good

>listing lyrics as an important reason you like the album because of "relatability"

You have already lost the argument.

>Whole damn thing speaks to me like only a few other albums do.
sounds about right if you're under 18 and had 2 relationships max.
washed out > currents

>Listening to music for my2deep4u lyrics

Music helps me make sense of life mate and keep my head above water so to speak.

So yeah, my favorite albums have lyrics that speak to me.

Frigg off randy

...

One of my favorites
Normies listen to it but it’s far from normie
:^)

Try 20 and 4 relationships, and it more or less applies to all of them.

Currents > Lonerism > Innerspeaker > Washed Out

Washed out isn't bad, but it's simple as fuck by comparison matey.

This

>listening to music for the lyrics

t. brainlet

that's arguable, innerspeaker is better than anything he put out though

>Try 20 and 4 relationships, and it more or less applies to all of them.
well sorry to hear you still have a childs mindset on relationships.
5th's time the charm,yeah?

washed out > innerspeaker > currents > lonerism

Obviously lyrics aren't the sole focus numbskull.

But they certainly help elevate the musical enjoyment.

I can appreciate an album that is purely instrumental or with lyrics I don't relate with.
But it will never resonate with me as much as an album that has lyrics that resonate.
I'm trying to figure out if you are the avant math god of Sup Forums are the worse trip.

You're making a strong case for yourself with that shit taste though.

>I'm trying to figure out if you are the avant math god of Sup Forums are the worse trip.
Would you care to rewrite that sentence?

Nice argument.
Filtered.

No, I just legitimately don't like listening to instrumentally mediocre music. My favorite band is Jamiroquai. They have a world class musician on every instrument including vocals. To be fair I don't care at all about lyrics so I'm not a fair judge of them if they happen to be good on this album or something.

6/10, least favourite in the catalogue. Still killer chill out music tho.

...

this i can agree with.

First two are fucking great.

>But they certainly help elevate the musical enjoyment.
do you appreciate music where vocals are used only for their sound, if the lyrics are stupid and meaningless?

My favorite band is Jamiroquai. Don't talk to me about good bass or dancable music.

...

If they're excessively stupid it would detract from my enjoyment sure, but if the lyrics are hard to read into and used more for their sound (Cocteau Twins comes to mind) then that I can enjoy.

Basically, it's not so much the lyrics themselves that elevate the enjoyment, it's the ability of the song/album to make me FEEL something.

Lyrics are typically the best way to do this, however certain musical factors, melodies, singing styles, etc, can also do this just as well.
(albeit they're less often used this way/affect me this way less then lyrical content does as a whole).

I love to listen to french and italian songs for the sound of those languages, but i don't understand the lyrics. If I did, I would consider them simply catchy pop songs, like justin bieber and adele stuff.

...

>cuck music
Gross

Good choice but take care is better tbqhfam

...

Okay we get it you managed to fuck a 3/10 obese tumblrina once because she was dead drunk but nobody cares

So what? I don't give a fuck if it relates to you. I wouldn't care if you died. It's a shit album.

retarded try-hard patrician argument

e d g y

f a g g o t

A much better album than OP's choice. So was this.

All the music I see posted on /mu is normie music,

...

You have no idea what that word means

doesn't it mean "_____ for normal people" ?

lurk more xD

>projecting this hard

These are all 10s normie status aside

This is a true normie 10 that would otherwise be an 8

Very much this virgins can't into music about romance
