james bond

...

Fassbender or Cavill are the most reasonable candidates.

>Craig equates his now infamous wrist-slashing quote to being asked to run a marathon just after he’s finished another marathon. The actor goes on to praise the process of making a Bond movie by saying, “There is no other job like it…and if I were to stop doing it, just saying, I would miss it terribly.”

>He also goes on to praise how Bond movies are made by pointing out that most blockbusters are made by focus groups now, but that process doesn’t usually happen for the 007 franchise because of how quick the turnaround is for those movies. Though some focus group testing probably would have served to make Spectre a little better in the end.

>So while there’s still no confirmation as to whether or not Daniel Craig will return as James Bond, the actor said in another part of the interview, “I love this job, I get a massive kick out of it. And if I can keep getting a kick out of it, I will.” But Craig also noted currently, “There’s no conversation going on, and genuinely because everybody’s just a bit tired.” So let’s just give Daniel Craig and the producers some time to recover, and hopefully they can take their time to come up with something better than Spectre turned out to be.

I really hope it's a black guy

Fassbender as Bond is plain perfect

Benedict Cucumberbutch

Tom Hardy

How is that even a question?
Elba should obviously get that role AND that of the next Bond girl as well.

>Who should be the next Bond?
No one, the franchise should have ended with Die Another Day. Put 007 to rest already

To be fair Elba really did get asked for that role. But he refuses because he said he is too old for that role.

>No one
He doesn't strike me as very British

>no mr Bond, I expect you to die
>do you feel in charge?

Pure bondkino

>With Aidan Gillen as the Bond villain
>Opening scene consist of Aidan threatening and mocking Bond Hardy and plan to shoot him off a plane
>"Why would you shoot a man before throwing him off a plane"
>Bond Hardy wrestle off and kicks Aidan from the plane
>"I guess you should pick a guy your own size"
>*You know my name starts playing*

We need to bring Pierce Brosnan out of cryo-stasis for the long-overdue Goldeneye64 movie tie-in

Bend-a-dick Cum-on-your-back

Agreed, this isn't Doctor Who ffs

tom hardy hopefully

Sherlock Bond might actually happen

I'm conflicted because part of me wants more Craig Bond, but part of me wants the end of Spectre to stick as his finale since there was closure and he got a girl who lived.

He has no charisma to be a Bond

Tbqh this.

If only they made Spectre a bit better. But than again it's still a good closure. IMO, let the franchise rest for a couple more years and just reboot it or have a new actor play as a legacy character of the original Craig Bond.

>To be fair Elba really did get asked for that role.

He really wasn't, no one ever reached out to him for Bond, the only thing was that leaked email from Amy Pascal bringing it up.

Cumbath will be too busy making Marvel capeshit. He's in at at least 5 of them.

Craig changed his mind after he got the 150 million offer and his career went nowhere after Spectre.

Only Fassbender. I don't want a balding Cavill as Bond.

That was revealed to be bogus

So they gave him less, but still something like 80-100 million. More than enough to change his mind.

>So they gave him less

No, there was no money transaction at all, the entire dump cash on Craig thing was bogus, stop adjusting your fucking head canon.

>studios try to make us believe this goofy looking plumber white guy is some suave badass

I can't watch any of his films

Jon Hamm could do Bond fine, don't know why Bond has to be British. Somehow Christian Bale not being American didn't ruin the dark knight movies

>try
They succeeded.

we should just make an american bond with jon hamm

There you have it, Bale should be Bond.

>45

I really hope it's a girl but they get Sup Forums browsers to write the screenplay

That's how it has been since the beginning.
Brit director and brit actor for Bond. They're not gonna change that, especially not for the special 25th movie.

>craig
>bond

How about an indian bond? James Bondaloo?

>american

Try again

Bale's Bruce Wayne and Craig's James Bond is basically the same character. Except that one wear a rodent mask and the whole revenge for muh family thing.

You're right. It's dead. It's sad. And as obnoxious as most of the people are who call for Bond to be more """diverse""", Idris Elba would be the best option in bringing new life to 007. I was vehemently averse to the idea at first, but that dude is based, and he would make a based bond.

You're a fag, and not a very clever one.

No chance they're just going to let the franchise sit idle. That's money being lost by the day. Movie quality has proven to be completely irrelevant to box office takings, which is why every Transformers movie is a smash hit.

It should be McAvoy and each and every one (you) knows that.
But because of "muh height" meme, it'll never happen.

Macavoy plus, It should be more claustrophobic, more ""gritty""" think The Spy Who Came In From The Cold Meets Casino Royale (still bond fun afterall).

DROP all gadgets.. all elaborate back stories involving bonds origin.

But again
>muh height meme
and this is current year so we will probably get a Mexican bond in an invisible car/ice hotel type movie.

If not McAvoy I'd compromised with
Hardy
Fassenburger
and surprisingly I could see myself living with Emily Blunt.

Nikolaj Coster Waldau. He is not Brit but whatever.

>He wasn't Aquaman

:(

I may be a fag, but I'm like... super clever. Nice try, user.

>The guy believes that Elba should be the next Bond

Black, white, brits, muricans, Fuck it. Just make the next one good. Spectre has all the good stuff and yet ended up as an okay movie at best. Craig Bond deserves a better finale, but stretching it further will ruin to a point of no return.

>I'm conflicted because part of me wants more Craig Bond, but part of me wants the end of Spectre to stick as his finale since there was closure and he got a girl who lived.

There was no development between them. Spectre had so much potential to end the whole series but they just blew it.

I would much rather see Tarantino just end his career with his last and best film: the Bond movie he always wanted to direct.

Why are blacks first in line for "minority" remakes? This is england we're talking about, let the pakis and indians have their shot.

Jesse Ventura because he is the sexual goddamn tyrannosaurus.

>Fassbender or Cavill are the most reasonable candidates.
>Cavill

As soon as it was even implied he wouldn't do anymore my first choice was Fassbender, but people just don't get it.
The thing is I'm pretty sure Craig is going to do the next one.

They realized they didn't want to end it so they just rushed to come up with some ending that left the chance to come back.

>let the pakis and indians have their shot
Nice joke.

Bond always had a high test look to him. He never had a pretty boy look. Fassbender or Hamm could pull it off. But having Cavill is like having someone from One Direction play Bond.
