In Limbo is fucking brilliant and easily the best track on the album. I love the observation somebody made once about how the song moves like water.
Jose Cruz
Came to post this. Together with A New Kind of Water > Hi Baku Shyo it illustrates the end of the world in such a thoughtful but realistic way. It's not this grand event of the ages, it just kind of happens.

Its not the same as all the other examples in the thread, because from the top of my head there aren't songs that have instruments or notes that play across two tracks but Songs for the Deaf as a whole by Queens of the Stone Age flows extremely nicely, especially the first few tracks.
Jaxson Martinez

The Will of One -> Vengeance

Penal Colony > Bells

Xavier Reyes
that album is one i listen to front to back extremely often so i agree. it kind of helps that it’s a quasi-concept album but the radio thing doesn’t always hold up. that one still does but at some point it won’t
Cooper Ramirez
Nonagon was an incredible psych garage album with lots of diversity and a great theme. FMB was interesting really solid also, but MOTU and Sketches were both 6/10 disappointments imo
Easton Hill
I honestly dont get how people can love Nonagon and dislike MotU. Is it the spoken word?

I must concur with what everyone has said about this track. It's 10/10, the overlapping vocals, the fragmentary lyrical imagery, the strangely etheral yet ominious guitar lines, those synths...it DOES feel like water, or the rolling waves, and Tom's final wail of "Coooooome baaaaaack" fading into Idioteque makes my dick diamonds even now, 16 years later.
