Funny you say that. I got Vietnamese in Sunnybank hills and internet made sound good but it was rather shit.
There is a nice Thai place nearby though. I only get takeaway bc young baby but it's always packed (only Asians) but I've been happy with all four dinners we've bought from there.

The restaurant at The German Club at Woolloongabba is pretty good. Good german beers and tasty food.

If you want a decent curry try Curryville on Wynnum road at Morningside.

La quinta Mexican at Oxford St Bulimba is a good feed (prices are ok)

German club is the best bet for a big feed and beers.

Take a walk down James St in Newstead and take your pick, all the restaurants there are amazing. Tinderbox (italian), Chow House (asian fusion), Ribs & Burgers, Gnocchi Brothers. All on James St, fucking brilliant food

It's not too bad during the week, just avoid it on weekends or parking is horrible. Otherwise Vine in New Farm does great Italian. VUE, New Farm is my favourite for lunch by far. SheBangs in albion, a bit hidden away but open aa a bar on weekends, does good breakfast and amazing coffee. Also if you're looking for a great brekky spot, My Mistress in Clayfield is awesome. I have an endless list of suggestions, eating is my fav hobby hahaha
