Actually an awesome game. Has almost nothing to do with the movie. One of the most solid drifting games on PS2, being somewhere in between NFS:U and Kaido Battle. Has a shit ton of licenced cars and parts and even Initial D memery.

Overpriced shit story gameplay didnt last 3 hours and you finished the game 100% also stupid timelimit and parents lock after 30 minutes game froze for 2 hours to help kids engage in outdoorplay.

desperately needed some character upgrades in the later levels, the difficulty hit a steep fucking curve because you basically had all the same gear and stats from the beginning of the game and then they suddenly added teams of black ops soldiers who were invisible could hit you from a mile away from around a corner.
the levels in the complex where you could use the monsters against the soldiers were dope tho. all in all i dont think the game was finished or tested completely. that one boss that you could beat by running to the door and leaving comes to mind :/
