What's the worst sitcom that lasted over 100 episodes?

What's the worst sitcom that lasted over 100 episodes?

Pic related

I-I can't think of anything worse except maybe She's the Sherrif which I don't think lasted anywhere close to 100 episodes.

They made 130 Episodes of Mama's Family.

I WIN

The Goldbergs will reach over a hundred of episodes and is fucking awful

Will and Grace

>big bang theory

You're a fucking idiot.

The chemistry in that show was god-tier. The show went to shit when Grace got married, but was good before that.

two and a half men and big bang theory

Webster 150 Episodes

Perfect Strangers 150 Episodes

I challenge the board to find worse

Counting both runs, MTV made over 400 episodes of Road Rules.

>Road Rules
Isn't a sitcom dingus

but those were good shows

her accent took me down the path of being addicted to southern milf porn

I already won with Mama's Family.

I agree, tremors got me into Reba McIntyre in tight jeans

Reba has a lower IMDB rating for what it's worth

According to Jim.

James Belushi is the anti-life equation of comedy.

THIS

I would rather marathon every episode of According to Jim than one episode of Reba.

i liked reba, even though most of it was
>muh ex husband
>muh high morals
>muh slut daughter

Did he even have a career before his brother died? It seems like he popped up on the scene as a dime store replacement when John died.

The wife was a beautiful though. Makes it a lot easier to watch.

>Reba has a lower IMDB rating for what it's worth

wow. Reba was just by the numbers 90s sitcom.

Mama's Family was a terrible 80s spinoff which was so so bad. It was essentially just Vicki Lawrence in a grey wig acting like an old hick lady. It lasted a decade and seemed impervious to the world around it. It could be 1983 or 1994 doesn't matter the Mama's Family is still the same.

That garbage is still on OTA HD from time to time.

I actually watched this several times over as it was on after I got home from work/

Ive seen far worse honestly

>90s

kek sure thing budd

Full House

AW HELL NAW

both the oldest daughter and the youngest daughter in the last season and the son in law make the show very tolerable

Nope. John died in 1982 and James' first year of SNL was 83.

Not bad. Far from it actually. It's just overrated and popular and annoying. The first 2 seasons are actually decent imo. 3-4 somewhat good. After that it starts to shamelessly appeal to its new acquired audience of leddit. I dropped it long time ago, but I bet it's not that bad right now and is generally competent.
I don't think it's bad at all. I used to enjoy some of the episodes when I come back from a school. you have to understand they probably have a specific audience in mind and probably aren't trying to appeal to the same people who enjoyed Friends and Seinfeld.

Two and a Half Men or How I
Met Your Mother.
Doesnt change the fact of how much I want to plow Alyson though

s
>kek sure thing budd

I was carbon dating it based on her mom jeans.

How I Met Your Mother started out okay but the ending ensured it would fade into obscurity and not be very well remembered

so you made an assumption about something you havent seen

Almost all sitcoms are shit. Including and especially Friends. Fuck Friends.

I concur, good ser

>Almost all sitcoms are shit

so wrong it hurts

i'd fug ross rachel chandler monica and phoebe
but not joey

I appreciate your digits but disagree with your opinion. Explain why most sitcoms are good without using the word comfy.

Friends is the best show of all time, if you give me your address I'll come to your house and convince you.

i think you won op

"Most" sitcoms are average two-three camera setups with easy jokes and fast pacing

not comfy at all, just entertaining in the fact they have a story, put some jokes in between.

the good ones subvert that and place humor where you wouldn't expect it

Because they have little character development they can focus almost exclusively on the humor of the characters interacting with each other.

They give me the feeling of comfort through affordable means.

i'd much rather watch reba than two and a half men
reba is inoffensively bland but two and a half men is just bad

Modern Family is one disgusting piece of garbage. That gay couple, the interview style interruptions.

It was absolute garbage the entire time. If you didn't see that ending coming you're a fool. They Ross and Rachel'd the fuck out of Ted and Robin from the beginning

Tyler perry's house of Payne somehow got 250 episodes. Was anyone even watching it?

I get why you don't like it, but it's far from the worst.

Black people. Lots of them

would have been racist to cancel it

The ending was predictable but it was the way they went about it that was truly terrible, like dedicating an entire season to a wedding that was undone in five minutes anyway. It used to be really popular but no one wants to rewatch it anymore because of the ending.

It's spinoff Meet The Browns has 140 episodes. What the fuck? I didn't even know that show existed

>1,927 ratings on imdb
seems like a lot of people didnt know

>It's spinoff Meet The Browns has 140 episodes. What the fuck? I didn't even know that show existed

>Spike Lee shames everyone into not doing drag or physical comedy for black audiences.
>Black audiences don't want slave bullshit, they like to laugh at physical comedies.
>Tyler Perry self finances a number of movies based on characters that appeal exactly to what the audiences want.
>Worth 10-15 times what Spike Lee is worth
>I'd never watch one but he seems like a good guy.
>Abused as a kid but still believes in God and is a secret Republican even though he is likely a gay guy.

I love it when people who are commercially unsuccessful complain about people like Tyler Perry. Good for him.

TBS had a 10-90 deal with Perry's production company where if the first ten episodes were successful they would produce the next 90 automatically.

It was designed to build shows that would automatically go to syndication as back-catalogue filler, they were dirt-cheap to produce and got them in bed with a bigger production company based off of a name star they could put on the masthead.. It's the same deal Charlie Sheen has with FX for Anger Management.

Friends

I've tried to watch those two many times. I just can't seem to enjoy them. I honestly can't see how they became so popular.

...

/thread

Friends is the height of mediocrity; it's stock standard sitcom material with nothing noteworthy about it but it perfects the character dynamics and the actors have good chemistry.
If you really hate sitcoms you're gonna hate it the most but there's not a real gripe about it to be had from a impartial perspective

genuinely good
the only bad thing about it is ray romano's voice

how about

>boring storylines
>boring characters
>inferior seinfeld

reba isn't total shit
wasn't there a country singer who had his own tv show that ran for like 1 or 2 seasons? that was unfuckingbelievably terrible

his name was miley cyrus

Roseanne after David and Mark entered the picture.

Show was GOAT until they ruined it.

right
height of mediocrity
exactly what I said

>but there's not a real gripe about it to be had from a impartial perspective

there is though

Becker. Literally the most basic characters and same jokes each episode. There is not one memorable moment to come from that show. Even Big Bang is smarter.

This. I would ask who the fuck watched this show, but many of my friends did. This show was absolute shit.

I thought Becker was great, the small dramatic parts in it worked really well and knowing John really actually cared deep down despite being kind of an asshole on the outside really made him a likeable lead.

Yes, Dear

boring storylines is the bread and butter of sitcoms
boring characters are made up for by the actors and chemistry of both actors and characters
inferior seinfeld goes without saying; seinfeld is good whereas friends is a strong mediocre

she was such a MILF in that show tho

>boring characters are made up for by the actors and chemistry of both actors and characters

you are still giving it far too much credit

also most halfway decent sitcoms like malcolm or seinfeld have interesting plotlines, even below average ones like bbt or two and a half men can shit a good one once in a while.

friends and how i met your mother were ecspecially stale for some reason

meant for

show was terrible but reba was qt

me and my dad loved her

Tyler Perry's worth a cool 400 mil

Malcolm and Seinfeld aren't halfway decent; they're good
the whole point is that friends isn't good; it's okay
just okay

Maybe Friends is just less to your taste than other sitcoms
Big Bang Theory is not to my taste but I acknowledge it's not as bad as much of Sup Forums would have you believe (it's the same level of quality as friends)
Two and a Half Men is a notch above either of them; sitting at the absolute bottom of what can qualify for good while Big Bang Theory and Friends sit as kings upon the heights of meh

Dharma & Greg

I HAD FORGOTTEN
WHY DID YOU REMIND ME

Mama's Family was trash but Reba was worse.

I'd argue Mike and Molly is maybe worse than Reba. It's just so aggressively bland.

Home Improvement
Cosby Show

Most mainstream US sitcoms are awful desu

Man, I have trouble thinking of sitcoms that aren't terrible. Probably According to Jim or maybe My Wife and Kids. My parents loved both of them and I hated them so much.

neither of those are the kinds of sitcoms this thread is here to discuss

you seem to think this is a "shit on sitcoms" thread
yes the genre is largely creatively bankrupt
but this thread exists for the actively awful; not the somewhat poor

I always thought this was Dana Carvey in drag

Oh, I also wanted to bring up Friends, but normies love it for some reason so it's probably not a fit for this thread.

Roseanne.

Nothing else comes close.

They are both "actively awful" though

I guess you just have poor taste then famalam

sitcoms are so easily accesible that it isnt a matter of taste, friends is just rehashed garbage that people clung too because it was trendy.

>friends is just rehashed garbage that people clung too because it was trendy.
so a regular sitcom then

Both those shows were great.

there are dozens of good ones though,it was just one of the handful of bad ones to gain popularity.

I hate Friends

High quality cringe comedy disguised as a comfy family sitcom

Fuck that.
Raymonds wife is 10/10

>tfw I've been watching The Nanny and enjoying it

What have I become.

Remember when the internet wasn't around and the only way to pass the time was to watch these fucking shows every day?
