Have they made a Run Like Hell type of song yet?

No, so shut the fuck up.

Even better, they made creep

60s: The Beatles
70s: Pink Floyd
80s: U2
90s: Nirvana
00s: Radiohead
10s: ???

I'd put Radiohead in the 90s to be sincere with you familia.

Define same

DEBS GRIBS :DDD

At least Pink Floyd weren't boring

Coldplay

Brand New

U2 has a run from the 80's to the mid 90's, and after that Radiohead comes in, from mid 90's to mid 00's. After Radiohead I'd put in Brand New.

wew

no they are not. there, refuted

god i fucking love Sup Forums
genius

Literally the only good pink Floyd albums are dark side of the moon, wish you were here, and animals maybe. Everything else is long-winded bullshit. How the Fuck are you gonna make a 20 minute song and have the first 5 minutes be ambient sounds you can barely hear

No radiohead are complete garbage.

Holy fucking fuck you're autistic,
>long-winded bullshit
>progressive rock=longer songs
>progressive rock=bullshit
is what you're saying, but what I'm saying is that you're too stupid to understand the beauty of it

Kanye West

The Pink Floyd and Radiohead comparison has always been pretty silly.

>Pink Floyd
>Prog-Rock
niceme.me

>bitches about Pink Floyd being long winded bullshit
>praises the albums with the most long winded bullshit (wish you were here and animals)
>doesn't mention early Pink Floyd

Creep is their Money

But Kid A was 00 and far more influential
u

Brand New for sure

Kendrick Lamar or maybe Kanye. Last big rock band was The Strokes, shits dead

>He doesnt realize rock is having its biggest resurgence since 2002

Thom yorke is the same person as björk
You cannot refute this

Just try and find a picture of the two of them together

I mean, it's just dead to the mainstream's eyes. Of course there's still great stuff coming out.

Big genres now are Hip hop/trap and EDM. Rock's long dead in that sense, it had a great run though.

Its literally inching its way back to mainstream. Pay close attention

>Yorke
>Bjork
Fuck...

Any examples? At least people my age that listen to trending stuff only listen to the genres I already mentioned. People that I know that listen to rock listen to already established stuff (Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, classic rock, etc..) or metal

Just this year there has been

Protomartyr
QOTSA
King Gizzard (3 albums)
Brand New
Slowdive
GYBE

Last year had

Radiohead
Weezer
Bowie
King Gizzard
Swans

your retarded

My guy that's exactly what I meant. Some of that stuff is really great, Im not arguing that there is no good rock music anymore, but all of those artists are either:
a) Already matured and established artists with a pre-existing fanbase (Radiohead, QOTSA, Slowdive, Weezer, Swans, Brand New, GYBE, fucking Bowie come on)
b) Indie. Im not saying artists like King Gizzard are obscure or unknown, of course not, but they are FAR from mainstream.

Ask the average teenage girl if she knows who King Gizzard is, do you think she'll be able to answer you?

Compare ANY of those artists' monthly listeners on Spotify to Migos' and you'll see

I dont think you understand what resurgence means

This brah. But kanye is just too strange. It's definitely Kendrick

10's Kanye is more of a pop culture icon than a music icon. 00s Kanye was the music icon

Don't also forget about new Nine Inch Nail's EPs

Brand New, Tame Impala, Paramore, Bon Iver, there are some options
