That's a trick question
Everybody knows music started in 1910

people didnt really start making albums until the 1920s

I said medieval music you fucking idiots
That means music with a medieval vibe, clear?
You have 10 seconds again

So what? Music started in 1910s

Richard Dawson - Peasant

Pic related and Leonin, Peroyin and gregorian chant shit. Also Bach

A lot of people say Nicos Desertshore sounds medieval

I like Current 93, which is folky yanno

Perotin, i mean

I wish to say thanks but if I do nobody else will post recs

Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)

Anything by Unicorn Ensemble. Piffaro is great but that's Renaissance.

Also Gryphon, if you're into medieval prog.

...

Weezer - Weezer (Red Album)

Haha, didn't see you mentioned Gryphon right before I posted Did you see me obsessively posting this for the last couple days?

I have not seen it. I don't go to Sup Forums often anymore but when i did i posted/recced Gryphon everywhere i could. They're my favourite band, i even went to England last year just to see them play live.

anyway, thanks for carrying the torch user.

you're welcome friendo. On the Way to bethlehem is my favourite. it has 2 krautrock-like jams which are really cool.

Although i highly recommend diving into renaissance music as well, as it has the perfect balance of medieval/baroque feel, although it lacks the mid-eastern influence (bc crusades n shit) found in medieval music and maybe that's what you're after

anyway:

Anything by John Dowland, played by paul o'dette and you're good to go.
Piffaro - Los Ministriles: spanish renaissance wind music
Girolama kapsberger

and more but i can't be bothered to look for it.

oh yeah.

Michael praetorius and John Playford. great stuff

oh yeah. John Renbourn has put out a number of albums with medieval music. check that out as well

The Lion in Winter soundtrack

Good taste. Old Mornings Dawn is quite alright as well.

best is Stronghold by far but Oath Bound fits OP's description best

Dunno if this is really considered medieval, but i like this one.
