who is this mystery man you speak of?

cant tell if their patrician or contrarian at this point.

nah, just the archetypal burial pleb

The only thing I accept is
>when burial releases a 2-track EP, he always thinks the b-side is better
That's objectively true

>>he wants 'old burial' back

Its so funny to read a sentence like that and be online

who are you quoting?

Burial hasn't really lived up to the hype of his first albums.

maybe he never wanted to live up to the hype
I'd say he just makes music for himself which is why he's putting out the 12"s he is, personally I think it's great he's experimenting with different kinds of sound rather than just staying in the same rut

countless cluelessnesses on Sup Forums

>he thinks he can categorize burial

yfw OP is actually Burial posting his opinion on himself.

It's always cute when fans are in denial about their favorite artist going to shit.

>It's always cute when fans are in denial about their favorite artist going to shit.
kek, classic pleb on suicide watch who is projecting because he can't keep up with an artist's musical evolution

Don't worry user, only four more steps. I know you can make it.

all I know is, listening to the lyrics throughout, Burial's ex must have been a right slag.

oh wow kek you sure showed me :-)

>>he thinks everything released past rival dealer has been a disappointment
everything past kindred

>>out of all the tracks on untrue, he only likes raver
that's dumb

>>he thinks subtemple is shit
it is

>>he thinks sweetz is 'too repetitive'
it's a bad tune but that's a dumb reason to dislike it

>>he thinks kindred / street halo works as a better overall composition than the separate EPs
that's stupid

>>he thinks the deep summer remix is boring
it's the best thing since kindred

>>he wants 'old burial' back
not really. i just want him to stop making garbage.

>>he unironically listens to night bus while on the night bus
i'm not poor

>>he unironically listens to in mcdonalds while in mcdonalds
see above

>>he still tries to get his friends into burial by playing archangel first, because "it's the accessible one"
they're all into burial

>>he skips over UK when it starts playing on shuffle
nah

>>he doesn't think temple sleeper is danceable
maybe if you're 50 and have done enough drugs

>>when burial releases a 2-track EP, he always thinks the b-side is better
nah

>>he listens to cheap 2007-era burial knockoffs ala volor flex, nocow
nah

>>he doesn't know that there are actually 2 confirmed burial and flying lotus collabs
it's good they never put them out

>>he doesn't know about the dbridge & instra:mental collab
same

>>he doesn't know about prophecy, gaslight, or sinkheart
same

>>he doesn't think wasted youth and eyelids are real burial tracks
who cares

>>he claims to be really into the four tet collabs, but completely disregards wolf cub
wolf cub is p.good.

idk, rodent was lit and young death/nightmarket was just as good. the only dissappointment was subtemple but i don't hate him for trying other sounds. kindred will always be burial's peak though.

>this post
underage get out

>thinks old Burial was original but hasn't heard of El-B or Groove Chronicles in his life
>thinks Rival Dealer (the track) is innovative but hasn't heard a single Adam Freeland mix in his life
>thinks Hiders and Come Down To Us are a natural evolution to his sound and not just a 90 degree turn to everything he had said in interviews during the mid 2000's and a complete betrayal to the rave culture he was influenced by and for which he (used to) stand for
>thinks everything after Rival Dealer is profound and experimental and not just a cheap parody of what he used to be

>thinks Hiders and Come Down To Us are a natural evolution to his sound and not just a 90 degree turn to everything he had said in interviews during the mid 2000's and a complete betrayal to the rave culture he was influenced by and for which he (used to) stand for
explain

I always thought his output besides Untrue was pretty w.e.
