Doctor Strange is live on RT

Doctor Strange is live on RT
First 2 reviews positive and there are people here who think critics aren't shills for Disney

I watched it today.

Solid 6/10, was bored as fuck.

4/4 Fresh now.

That's right folks, it's that time of year once again: it's another "Rotten Tomatoes Is Biased" month.

>Cheer! as more people declare their mathmatical illiteracy before the whole board.
>Scream! in joy as logic escapes and eludes those who don't know what an aggregator site is.
>Chuckle! sensibly as they repeat their arguments ad nauseum rather than just admit they're wrong.

Rotten Tomatoes is paid off by Disney

In other news, water is wet.

Rotten Tomatoes is owned by Warner Bros.

>>Scream! in joy as logic escapes and eludes those who don't know what an aggregator site is.

>Solid 6/10

And there we have it as the first Fresh audience score rolls in.

>Doctor Strange is basically a reboot of Iron Man, only with a lot more prettier things to look at while you're stoned
>fresh review

I think Stan Lee's only got about 3 origin stories in him, and one of his favorite ones always seemed to be "arrogant/greedy guy suffers some loss or hardship, and is driven to become a better person"

Still 3 times better than all Naruto origin stories.

I wouldn't know. I've only watched Naruto once, and it seemed kind of like an anime for stupid people.

>"This funny...
DROPPED

>trusting reviews in 2016
LOL

That first review could easily describe Suicide Squad, but I guess its true that critics are biased/paid against DC

Don't forget the cucks who reviewed the Suicide Squad movie and deemed it too "mature" and "sexual"

Americucks love Disney branded capeshit, whats new

Well, he is the porn expert.

I like Alonso but he rarely gives moderate scores, he's wither like I loved it 9+/10 or it was shit 2/10. Of What The Flick reviews, Christy and Ben seem to have the best taste overall (well not that I always agree with them but their arguments for giving a certain score make sense to me)

>Suicide Squad is a crushingly puerile semi-pornographic slog

Is this supposed to be wrong or something?

I'll for based Armond's review, thanks.

>That Christy Lemire review
Why do SJW women always talk in riddles? It's a fucking super hero movie! What's with all this "novel, shiny spectacle, bread and butter" language shit?

Did you hear Jai Courtney BTFO the critics? He said in a recent interview that he likes to watch movies that are different from what his young niece likes (implying that he likes his movies to be mature and not aimed for kids - i.e. Marvel).

I so wish Suicide Squad was R Rated so these SJW's wouldn't have to compare it to Marvel and criticize it for its mature themes.

>OH NO THE JOKER DID SOMETHING SHOCKING AND DISTURBING NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG KIDS
well yeah... he is the fucking Joker

Hes a literal faggot who doesnt understand basic stories like Warcraft

What if I told you being inappropriate for children and maturity are not the same thing?

>Suicide squad
>mature themes
Also, the movie didn't fail because of its themes. It failed because it was shit.

To me it did not fail. It just could be heaps improved with longer Joker scenes, more Katana, more interactions with the Squad.

I liked the Joker club scene for how wild and unusual it was.

What if I told you that Marvel movies are Saturday morning cartoons but get away with it because?

Are you even trying to hide your butthurt status, DCucks?

>this funny

The last bad Marvel movie was the Fantastic Quads.

The last bad DC movie was Batman vs Superman.

...

Reminder that they had to CGI his cape for this scene.

I am pretty sure I have seen movies from the 50's where they make a cloak movie by itself and it was all practical

>and there are people here who think critics aren't shills for Disney

What's wrong? Didn't like the implication that your movie where people say things like "We're the bad guys" and "I don't speak good guy" may not actually be mature just because it has a dark color palette?

Why does the cape move so strangely? Is it alive?

>mature
I don't think puerile means what you think it means

And I'm pretty sure he meant pornographic as in trashy, pandering sexuality, user.

In a sense. It's a magical item with a will of its own.

Another videogame shit movie. People will eat this shit up. That's the tragedy.

yes see

Don't you mean those who ARE shills for disney?

>DUDE. WEED!

Puerile means childish, and "pornographic" is not just about there being sexual elements, but how they're presented.

>actual cuck shit in AAA movies

What the fuck. They aren't even trying to hide it anymore, are they? I'm surprised the film didn't get a standing ovation by all these numale cucks from their cuck sheds.

God that looks terrible.

>"DUDE, THE GIMMICK OF THIS MOVIE IS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THAT EBIN MOVIE NOLAN MADE A FEW YEARS AGO, BUT WITH CAPES!"
>Fund it

>capeshit
>not for children

Why is the Joker a cuck?

5/5 now.

>Suddenly Jai fucking Courtney is Sup Forums's hero
Holy shit you cucks get more hilarious every day.

>Disney must pay critics

Or the superheroes in Marvel just have better stories that make for better movies when compared to DC.

Doctor Strange is one of the best superheroes in general.

>Trusting RT

Disney don't directly pay off critics, they just mold their movies to be as "decent" and inoffensive as possible. There will never be a 'good' Marvel movie because for a movie to be good it has to take risks and risks aren't built into the Disney business model.

>Disney don't directly pay off critics, they just mold their movies to be as "decent" and inoffensive as possible
So what you meant to say is, "They don't pay critics at all".

>6.3/10
looks like was right

lol @ dcucks

>b-but if you don't like it, you don't have to see it

I would need proof, like a confession from someone or emails, and not just assumptions from DC fans.

Until then I'm not going to say Disney pays off critics. If so then thor 2 and Iron Man 3 wouldn't have low scores.

...

With all of the praise that the visuals are getting, and the fact that it already won "visuals of the year" from Hollywood Film Awards, is there a chance the effects could be nominated for an academy award?

Spider-Man 2 won and academy for visual effects in 2005, so this is possible....

Capekino incoming

When will dkeks learn

>Duralde

hey, it's the guy who liked Dragon Ball Evolution.

but they don't own the critics. if they start blacklisting critics who rate their films poorly, they're going to lose cred.

>6.3
what went wrong?

Do people on Sup Forums unironically enjoy these kids movies? How old are you? Sup Forums has an age limit.

did you even read my post past the first sentence you autistic manchild.
whether or not they pay critics is inconsequential, their entire business model is back-to-front with each movie being built and designed to appeal to the widest audience possible. it's literally impossible for a truly good movie to be made this way

8/8 Fresh
6.6 avg rating.

Think we're just waiting on Armand White to praise the humour and diss the visuals now to seal the deal.

So they're not indirectly paying critics, they're not paying critics at all.

the rape scene was a little over the top. a lot of people walked out of the theater at that point. overall it's not worth the time

Let's take the Rogue One reshoots as an example. The early news that emerged stated that Disney was concerned about the film not having "four-quadrant appeal".

Plot formula running a bit stale. Not really their fault, it sounds like it's just a factor of Strange's origin story being too similar to other heroes like Iron Man.

>6.6
what went wrong?

...

11/11 Fresh
6.7 avg rating

Probably going to end up with the avg rating just over 7/10 from this, once we reach the point with enough reviews in that it can't fall/rise too much.

>6.7
what went wrong?

Are DC movies just so bad that they can't even get critics to shill for them despite Warner Bros having a pretty big stake in RT?

This is our most desperate hour. Help us Armond White. You're our only hope...

>that second review

DUDE

Does Doctor Strange have a post credits scene?

It has 2

Not even Kelly can save you now! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, Thanos getting his morning coffee.

...

master and commander is at 85%, are you saying it should be ower?

if so get out.

Sweaty neckbeards on Sup Forums fap to kawaii animu girls, unironically. So much for the "maturity" of this place. Watching a childish, forgettable popcorn-flick is among the least pathetic things in this dump.

thats not what he's saying at all. are you illiterate?

DOES ANY OF THEM MENTION MADS?

Another in the string of weak marvel villains?

DON'T TALK SHIT ABOUT MY HUSBANDO.

I hope it's not another generic Marvel villain..

It would be a waste of Mads

No it's because they're kino and literally too deep for everyone except fat neckbeards on the internetz Of course they're shit

So Disney makes their films so that critics will like them but they don't pay them.

This was also obvious when they re-shot scenes for Doctor Strange to make it humorous. I would have liked Strange to not have much humor but I'm still getting what appears to be a Doctor Strange film that had great acting, visuals, and a story that isn't bad, so I'm not going to complain.

It has an 8.7 average rating on IMDB.

I really wish the reviewers would stop treating this like a film that you should see while taking acid.

Human creativity doesn't need to be linked to psychedelics. The comic illustrator (Steve Ditko) didn't even take psychedelics.

because he's 100% american

It's just a figure of speech, chill out.

It's actually a fucking perfect match.

Thanos is not the greatest enemy of the Marvel universe. He's not actually evil.

post YFW disneymarvel buys DC
