shut up meg
>japanese bonus track is best song on album
>hidden track is the best song on album
>hidden track is the WORST song on album
this is even worse desu because it's usually something you go out of your way to listen or are surprised by only to severely disappointed, especially since they're usually at the end of the album. ends the album on a very low note.
In Japan albums are much more expensive then in the western world so artists usually add bonus tracks to compensate that price disparity.
It definitely is.
TIL
Why do they keep paying for music? What is their problem
They actually have a functioning market in their little island
I remember hearing an explantion for this once but I forgot it. I know for hip-hop they do the bonus tracks in Nippon because sometimes the samples don't clear in the US but it doesn't matter there or something.
Is this post by Uncle Sam lads?
The explanation was literally posted above. They pay $30-35 for an album so companies throw them extra shit so they won't just import from Amazon. Same goes for vidya and movies. Books are for some reason cheap as fuck.
