The Departed is better than Infernal Affairs

The video is what pushes it over.

>Talented Mr Ripley (although Plein soleil had the better ending)
The American Friend is the best version

>pic related
>The Thing
>Invasion of the Body Snatchers
>True Grit

The Blob remake is much better than the original. Beautiful gore.

13 ghosts
Thing

Scarface
Invasion of the body snatchers.
The thing.

The rule to making a good remake, is not remaking a classic, you're just setting yourself up for failure that way, you have to find a movie that had a great premise but squandered that premise and wasn't a very good movie. That's what you remake and do the premise justice this time.

Evil Dead, The Fly, John Carpenter's The Thing, Oceans 11, True Grit, True Lies. There's a lot.

I didn't know 13 Ghost with Monk was a remake. That movie fucked with me when I was younger.

Chloe is better than Nathalie.

...

As much as I like the NIN version, the cash version is much better.

The NIN version sounds like melodrama from the mouth of misanthropic shut-in.

The Cash version sounds like a song from the mouth of an old man who's seen and experienced some real shit throughout his life and is coming to terms with his own fading mentality.

The original 13 Ghost wasn't that good. The remake had cool ideas.

Wasn't The Thing a loose sequel with lots of retcon (it's a thing. Like Highlander 2, for example) to the 50s one? Some of the movie scenes and pictures from the norwegian crew were taken almost directly from that movie.

*Mortality.

Nah, the 1950's version was called "the thing from another world" and pretty much has the same story to carpenters thing. Both are based on a short story called "who goes there"

The reboot from 2011 was about the Norwegian crew from the 1980s thing, and ends with the beginning of that movie, chasing the dog with the helicopter.

Zack pls

The movie stopped being good after the first 20 minutes

Ok we get it, you're a pleb. Stop trying so hard.

The prequel had the same plot as the 80s one though.

But I was talking about some scene in the 50s one being excatly like what the american crew of the 80s movie watch when they look at what the norwegian crew filmed and took pictures of.

>calling a prequel a reboot

it's an enjoyable film but better than the original? not by a longshot, famalam

>calling a reimagining labeled as a prequel a reboot when it's actually more of a loose sequel set before the previous movie

wew

It's MEW, not wew.

>patrician
>likes zombie shit
Choose one, retard

This movie sucked ass, you faggot.

The Thing by Carpenter

I can't really think of a reason why the original Dawn of the dead would be better. They're equally as good, but the remake added a bit onto it

Not a remake, just based on the same source material
Nice quints

Little Shop of Horrors

...

...

Off the top of my head:
Pokemon Fire red
The new Tomb Raider (debatable if It's a remake tho"
Bindan of Isaac Rebirth
Metroid Zero Mission
Also SM64DS was 'aight

O shit lol, thought i was on Sup Forums,

I reccomend the games tho. All solid stuff

>coalburner has a zombie baby
