My problem with that episode is that there’s just not enough there to suggest that Waldo’s moment would last much longer than his 15 minutes of fame. Once it go to the end it just felt cheap. Maybe with the whole Trump thing recently I can kinda see the episode in a new light since I haven't seen it since it premiered.

That's why they included the scene of the main character meeting with a CIA agent. In the time between the main character losing his shit and becoming homeless, the CIA had used Waldo as a tool to control the world.

Playtest is by far the worst episode, so much setup for so little payoff. Nosedive squandered a cool premise with shitty dialogue/ending.
