I agree that there is corruption within the US Government, and that’s a judgement on the individual, not as a whole. The far left of today seems to supply most of what corrupts our system in swaying away from western culture and capitalism. Most people are in the middle of the horseshoe and generally agree, but pick sides based on a number of factors. I think facts and logic should come before picking a side. The USA does have a pay to play political system, and I agree that is not the most ideal way to have it, but the outcomes and views that the money is going toward is the most important thing. If you ensure that the only people voting are people who are actually a net benefit to society you would almost guarantee a sizeable increase in intelligent voters who actually care about politics.
