You know what I think that term means to people?
Feeling like you belong.
For some people it's weird and left-field music, for some people it's weird electronic music, for some people it's barren and desolate music.
We all just want to belong. Listening to music that makes sense to you feels like you're coming home. Coming home in a world where you fit in in some significant way that involves the greater picture.
