Can Sup Forums answer this?

Are you autistic?

Because this is a straight up test for autism.

Where the fuck did Anne go?

Err... she'll check the basket first, find it isn't there, and then probably look around, maybe looking in the box.

THE BOX OBVIOUSLY OP

DUMBASS SHITLORD TRUMP SUPPORTERS CANT THINK!!!

We can see that big ass marble makes a bump in the basket. No bump, so it's probably not there. This is kindergarten problem solving.

She went outside for a walk, it says it right in the image

Sally went for a walk, not Anne.

in the attic, but I wouldn't go there since the nazis are there.

Ahh yeah I'm retarded. I think the correct answer is it Sally will look where she wants to if she wants to, and we don't know enough about her personality to make an inference as to what decision she will make.

Checked
Seems upside down

Except people normally don't notice such small details. Sally looks in the basket, sees the marble isn't there, then probably sees the box and checks it.

Can someone explain why this is difficult?

people who cant comprehend object permanence or continuity will struggle with this and assume she'll go to the box

autists, babies, retards and worse struggle with it normal people find it so easy that they're confused it's even a puzzle

it's a developmental test for children. Below a certain age kids aren't able to empathise and see the world from Sally's perspective and will assume she will look in the box first, because they (the child) know it has been put in the box. After a certain stage of development kids start to see the world differently and understand that Sally will not know it has been moved and therefore check the box first. Look it up it's actually kind of interesting how all kids seem to figure certain things out a certain ages, especially the marshmalloe test.

So the answer is that it's on the box but for a myriad of different reasons?

It's in the box because you can clearly see that it's not in the basket and the box is closed from seeing what's inside.

Anne went to get some crack

No. Where will Sally look for the marble?

So looking at the basket and seeing no marble is already an answer as to where she should look?

There's not enough information is the real answer. You might as well say "Sally is looking at two marbles, one is red, one is blue, which one does she like better?" When asking what decision a person will make or how they feel in a given situation, a vast amount of information had to be given to try to infer an answer.

You are casting pearls before swine, man. They're idiots. Why bother?

Go see Anne's pimp..

Sally will spawn a new marble out of thin air and play with that one.

kind of
it was a test to figure out when children understand the concept of other people have different sets of information

why would she look in the box?

Because Anne is a nigger

Fuck, no.
If you put leftover pizza in the fridge,

A) Where would you look for it next time you were hungry?
B) where would you look for it if someone else had eaten it without telling you..

She clearly looks unhappy in the last panel so she already found out that her marble is gone, thus she will look in the only possible remaining place.

The box.

Now had the last panel actually shown her walking back then it would have been different, but she clearly has that "wtf mate?" look going on at the end.
