Here's a thought: is there something like a martial arts horror movie?

Ninja Apocalypse

There's a lot actually. You can just google that shit.

Heh, plot sounds delightfully silly/cheesy. Gotta get that movie.

Encounters of the Spooky King
Mr Vampire
Versus

not exactly horror or a movie but shigurui is horrific and pretty great.

Kind

>Versus

>Horror

Looked more like a parody/satire. Entertaining flick, to be sure. But not a horror movie.

Sucks its being remade

>movies can't have multiple genres

Ever heard of Evil Dead 2?

Guess not

I agree with this post.

Yes.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 4
Halloween: Resurrection

But on a serious note:

The Blade movies. Ninja: the Domination (I love it but it's very cheesy), Blood: the Last Vampire (animated is good, live action is average with aweful cgi and decent characters).

A lot of old b-ninja movies from the 80s(american and japanese) have a horror slant to them. Almost like slasher movies.

>the exorcist was a pretty good movie, but what it lacked was NINJAS!!!
>and a Flashdance subplot

FUND EET!

Op here, thanks for the helpful replies. Gonna have to check out all of those.

More i'm here the more valid than Sup Forums this board seems.

Just barely. I come here for new movie and tv recommendations, but I stay for the "body of work" threads.

Is the martial arts in the Blade franchise good?

Theres literally hundreds of these, its an entire genre

was big in the 80s

Has anyone seen Human Lanterns? I'm not sure if I can handle it, I've seen some of the directors straight kung fu and they are awesome so I'm tempted to watch it, but I hear its super disturbing

I think some if the later Hammer films fit the description, like Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires.

It's not Jackie Chan level and there's some really goofy stuff eternal roundhouse kick but it's passable in my mind, helps that Snipes does it all himself, did you know for Demolition Man he actually had to slow down because he was too fast for the cameras?

Nice. I hate it when the actor/actress canĀ“t fight and they have to do a million tricks and edits to try to make him/her look good. It never works.

try this.
