first for ricky

...

First for Ricciardo will never win a WDC.

*4th for he'll never achieve anything

Ride Rough Ricciardo

>90 seconds too slow
reminds you of another certain brit, yeah?

Ride Rough Ricciardo

I wish the FI guys where a bit more distinctive. Hard to tell who is who from just the helmet & car combo

From a glance you can only tell them apart by number and T bar

I would say the FI guys are the biggest losers in the style/aesthetic department. The pink could have worked well but they flopped imo

Wrong pic
See its that easy from a glance of the pic to mix them up

>loser
Have you seen the Haas probably the most boring livery on the grid

Holy shit, these dudes aren't fucking around!

>The following will be discussed to enhance on-track racing and increase the competition among F1 teams...
>Standardized chasis - this will decrease costs among competitors while still allowing them to customize their cars be creating unique front and rear wing systems in accordance with the respective formula
>standardized engine selection - custom tuning will be allowed to create unique engine profiles within the formula, however, we are contemplating on using a standardized engine approach to reduce costs, and would prefer this approach as opposed to establishing a balance of performance committee
>balance of performance committee - should we remain with the independent engine approach, we will look into balance of performance measures to increase competition among the field
>in-car fuel tank reduction - we are looking at decreasing the size of the fuel tank and mandating fueling during the race
>reduction of pit team - pit crews will be reduced to a maximum of 8 to serve in the following positions: 2 x tire carrier, 2 x tire changer, 2 x jack man, 1 x fueler, 1 x fire suppression man
>individual pit boxes - each driver will utilize their own pit team from their own pit box

F1 might actually get interesting again.

car babbies to be eternally btfo

thank you based americlaps

give us parity

especially standardized engines, like the tyres

this will never happen
this would turn F1 in Nascar or some other burger shit

mark my words

Dropped

Yes but you can tell the divers apart by their helmets it's not just shades of pink that get all mixed together.

I don't mind the Haas livery too much either, they did the shark fin right imo, it looks good. The rest is fairly uninspired

...

>1 x fire suppression man

Why do amerifats always ruin nice things

...

Just adding re fueling and ignore the rest of the shit there and I would be OK with it.

The rest sounds shit and the teams will never agree to it.

If these changes go through Bernie will start his on Formula Top or some bullshit like that and all the teams will come running.

why wont this old bag leave toto alone? he provides nothing of value and only distracts him from his work. he is nuisance to formula 1 and should probably be put in a home. he is living proof that f1 drivers should be left to burn if their cars should ever catch fire.

*saves the sport*

How can you even standardize f1 more without turning it into GP2?

shut the fuck up Amerifat, put some respect on Niki Lauda's name. He's literally better than overrated Senna

Based toothpaste at it again
BOP could be interesting but standardisation would pretty much kill F1, it would turn it into a world wide track only indy touring series

Limit pit crew to just the driver

Someone has been watching too much Formula E

Limit drivers to being someone from the current pit crew

limit drivers to only giving them the option of having the moral obligation to let lewis win

day of the mash when

Make the drivers for each car a lottery of all available drivers with the correct license

Ride Rough Ricciardo

Limit drivers to only Max Verstappen

Why did Kimi look so different in 2005?
He looks fatter, his eyes look weirder and he looks like he got a face lift.

REDUCE THE RULES
NOT THE COSTS YOU IDIOTS

Baby fat nigger

Do all drivers get a road or is Alonso already more special and significant than every other driver?

Cushing's syndrome. Can be caused by steroid use.

Verstappen is getting his street in Zandvoort

>but standardisation would pretty much kill F1

Nah....think of the cost savings if a team didn't have to worry about chasis development and could just focus on front and rear wing development instead.

That, or just tuning a standardized engine package instead of having to develop one, or use a shit tier engine because they couldn't afford to buy the top engines in the series.

I'm for anything that would increase the competition between more than just 1 or 2 teams. There's no reason world class drivers, like Alonso, Massa, Kimi, and Vettel, among others, shouldn't be competing for a win every single race.

It's the least they could do since he is making Indianapolis $$$ this year

>Nah....think of the cost savings if a team didn't have to worry about chasis development and could just focus on front and rear wing development instead.

I know nothing about F1 the post.

no offense but before the revolution in F1 in 2009 we had Ferrari, Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Renault engines, now it's just Mercedes, and guess what...only Mercedes official team wins

the only thing they should do is to give more control to drivers, no traction control and so on
everything else is part of the fun

F1 works because of the impossible combination of being technology driven AND people caring about which driver wins. You cant take away either one without fucking up F1's charm and USP.

>Nah....think of the cost savings if a team didn't have to worry about chasis development and could just focus on front and rear wing development instead.
Front wings being so developed and having so many small elements is part of the reason cars can't follow. The body of the car is as important as the rest. You wouldn't see the top 3 teams with completely different chassis. You wouldn't see Ferrari's crazy side pods.
Just a bad idea imo
>That, or just tuning a standardized engine package instead of having to develop one, or use a shit tier engine because they couldn't afford to buy the top engines in the series.
I don't mind this so much but you wouldn't see things like the split turbo in the Mercedes-Benz engine. Kills finding unique solutions for problems.
Still a bad idea imo.
Both of these would kill F1 and it would not longer be F1 2bh
>I'm for anything that would increase the competition between more than just 1 or 2 teams. There's no reason world class drivers, like Alonso, Massa, Kimi, and Vettel, among others, shouldn't be competing for a win every single race.
Limiting the size of aero elements would do this better. Reverting back to the OWG design or starting a new OWG to design a nerve Formula to allow cars their follow closer.

A BOP would have a better impact than anything you said and would be agreeable imo, I just can't see how they would enforce it fairly.

...

I think if any standardisation comes into play, I would have to move to GT racing full time. Absolutely disgusting.

>le "I know nothing about F1 the post" maymay
>they should give more control to drivers
>traction control

Come one, who really knows nothing about F1? TC has long been banned.
>inb4 'they map the ecu'
different strokes for different folks I suppose, but then they'd have to look at standardized tuning regs or something.

Why can't we just leave things exactly the same for the next 5 years and decide then?

Change always results domination because one team gets it right and everyone plays catch up. Let the rest of the grid catch up. Ferrari has now done it.

sorry but in my opinion F1 should remain a cruel cruel motorsport.
Only the best, both drivers and cars.
Just like this guy said I might just start looking obsessively at GT and Prototypes

MOAR SILINDARS

>I think if any standardisation comes into play, I would have to move to GT racing full time. Absolutely disgusting.
There already is
-standard tires
-standard ECU
-standard fuel flow
-standard passing zones of fairness

>13 points from Vettel to Hamilton.
>Ten points from Hamilton to Bottas.

>a wild "expert" appears

Not everyone is using the Merc engines, dude, hence the disparity in performance. See: Alonso

>no traction control and so on

That I agree with. The more throttle, brake, shifting and steering input managed and controlled by the driver, the better.

If I was to change anyone of these it would be tyres.

I'd love it if teams could just chose a different tyre manufacturer.

It would be a huge amount of variation.

Please be bait.

>A BOP would have a better impact than anything you said and would be agreeable imo, I just can't see how they would enforce it fairly.

I think they do a pretty good job in the GT series, as those dudes race for 6 + hours at a time, and a lot of the times it still comes down to the final lap.

>move to GT racing full time.

GT racing is a far better product, imo, and it's exactly because they use a balance of performance to keep things competitive.

The Bathurst 12 hour is always better than any F1 race, and the cars are far more competitive.

it is

carbabbies are SHOOK right now

In case you didn't notice: this was never funny or interesting. Stop reposting this facebook trash.

>Not everyone is using the Merc engines, dude, hence the disparity in performance. See: Alonso
Alonso is a hothead, great driver but he really sucks in team work. Also Honda isn't exactly the greatest engine manufacturer in the world and they can have problems, especially after being out of major competitions for so long , but sometimes it's also a problem of who uses those engines...perhaps Mclaren's engineers aren't that great...imo

Take Redbull for example. Great team but this year Renault is shitting the bed with engines and, well, their inhouse engineers can't design brakes too well. It's not a problem of regulations or standards, do you want to introduce limitations? I'm ok with this. Do you want to make all drivers drive the same car? absolutely a huge no

damnit why would you give him attention

Hell, even shitcanning those stupid fucking tire blankets and brake heaters they use would help the on-track competition.

Tire and brake management is a driver task, and should be done by the driver alone.

>but Ron I swear we're losing 1 second on the straights alone
>Is that true, honda-san? Why are we losing 2 seconds on the straigts?
>no way you're losing 3 seconds on the straights because of us.

Alonso claiming that they lose 2.5 to 3 seconds a lap on the straights literally can't be true. He should be sacked if he keeps this shit up. (He does have a point tho, honda sucks)

Renault are hardly shitting the bed. Liok how close Hülk is to the Red Bulls in qualifying - the Red Bull chassis is much more to blame than the Renault PU.

you guys reckon if i told lewis im a rap producer he'd let me hang about the garage?

only if youz a kang

no you have to be someone who was mainstream and peaked in 2001

Post yfw Alonso DNF at indy 500

Imagine you were smaller than Lewis Hamilton.

Renault can do better, and they should. Redbull is not going to stay in F1 and their in house team isn't in a good shape right now.

>all 4 (four) Andretti Autosport cars DNF'd at 2 (two) out of 4 (four) indycar races so far this season
yep alonso is fucked, the question is whether or not he will just kill himself right then

alonso should stick with turnleft seeing that he only has a left pec

his engine will fail when he tests on wednesday

he will just walk away from the track and disappear from public life

How much can a "championship" really mean to a F1 driver when they know there's only like maybe 1 or 2 cars that can actually compete with them on the entire grid? Do you think they ever feel guilty?

Will Hamilton nigpuku this season when it becomes blatantly obvious how over-rated he's been all these years? Maybe they'll just start praising Bottox for the "amazing improvement" of his driving.

>money: 0

he does it for free?

Ride Rough Ricciardo

You can tell all of them apart by looking at the camera thingy, one driver has a black camera and the other has black and yellow

I am aware of the T-bar colours. I was really making a point about how the individuality of the drivers doesn't shine through.
With many teams only doing yellow stripes instead of colouring the entire T-bar that isn't that reliable to see as a car races past you.

>Williams only has 18 points through three races and is worse than Force India and a Red Bull team with a car that might break at any moment

How do we fix this lads?

replace stroller with literally any gold rated sportscar driver

they need to go back to full yellow and full orange camera bars

>in-car fuel tank reduction - we are looking at decreasing the size of the fuel tank and mandating fueling during the race
That's a great idea. You keep the focus on fuel efficiency but make more strats and engine philosophies viable.
Sure fucking hope the rest is fake news though

Why don't we just remove all regulations, than have endless bullshit one-upmanship like superflat cars where drivers go face first and vacuum pumps.

That's what they have now.

Why don't we just end Formula 1.

I'd like them to increase the race distance from 1.5h to at least 2h. That would make reliability and strategy come more into play.

>vacuum pumps
like, for their dicks?

...

This is honestly the best idea in this thread.

I agree the GPS are simply too short

is it finally time?

Limit engineers to only the driver

>tfw they slow the cars down 50% to meet your demands

There should be a drs system for points. If you're within ten points of the driver in front of you, you get double points in the next race.
