This is my fucking vacation

What did he mean by this?

He's a rich dude with a big foundation that helps people. Normally he makes public appearances, but this is his vacation and he wants to get away from all that.

Pretty simple line.

It also helps confirm that he's an actual human, and echo's Ford's line about knowing who he is and finding out who he could be.

>It also helps confirm that he's an actual human

Yeah, you know I think it's the first time we get some actual backstory from this person, about time.

>What did he mean by this?
It's the burger word for a holiday.

His character is pretty interesting until you remember he's an old man playing a MMORPG and taking it seriously.

>taking it seriously

He's fucking around all the time, doesn't give a fuck if anyone shoots at him, killing people left and right. He is literally playing GTA like it's his 10th time doing so.

>Lightning bolt! Lighting bolt!

>echo's Ford's line about knowing who he is and finding out who he could be.
Knowing who the man in the black was or the line about the maze and "knowing yourself"?

Come on now, he takes it seriously. From his dress sense, his edgy attitude, his overall obsession with it. He's that guy at a comic-con convention who never drops character.

Nothing worse in a MMO than when you kinda get into the groove, starting to get a little bit immersed in the story and some other faggot player starts jumping up and down on top of NPC, being all OOC.

>taking it seriously.

he's playing the biggest game, if you had an inkling about what this show is actually presenting it wouldnt be cheesy just because it goes over your head

hes searching for true consciousness, yes the park is just a glorified game if the hosts are just robots with really really good programming and turing test parameters- but what separates a human conscious brain from a learning AI? at what point is consciousness created?

thats what hes looking for, hes played with all these robots for going on 30 years trying to find it

because thats the biggest question, what is existence, where does consciousness really come from, the ramifications are huge and profound as fuck

but its just an mmo lol fuck off you drooling retard

It's Red Dead Redeption and he is looking for the secret minigame

>hes played with all these robots for going on 30 years

That's so sad though

wow. He's in a roleplaying theme park

maybe if he wanted to uncover the secret to AI he would use his foundation money to actualy build a robot that doesn't get its memory wiped every day and designed to follow a prewritten script?

he is only there to play games and unlock 100% of the content like a completionist fag

There are too many unanswered questions on the show to know why he doesn't do it another way e.g. the techs availability, who he even is really, where they actually are etc

It's a good point though

Hes playing otherwise he could just take those guards by himself and just unlock the prison cage

saw the movie last saturday, is this show good?

Show's fine but the threads are shit.

Why did Elderly Mulatto turn into skeleton?
What did they mean by this?

>hes played with all these robots for going on 30 years trying to find it

> You ever heard of a man named Arnold? You could say he was the original settler of these parts. He created a world where you could do anything you want, except one thing... you can't die. Which means no matter how real this world seems, it's still just a game.
> But then Arnold went and broke his own rule. He died right here in the park. Except I believe he had one story left to tell. A story with real stakes, real violence. You could say I'm here to honor his legacy.

No one working at WW even knows Arnold even existed, much less the guests.

MiB somehow learned about a man who was officially scrubbed from the park's history, and he wants to know WHY, as well as his suspicion that Arnold left something behind the rest of the park (even Ford?) doesn't know about; Arnold was, as Ford said, "very. very. careful."

I sorely doubt Ford is approving of a guest unearthing something they left buried on purpose and even with his "we know everything about our guests" comment, probably considers MiB a completionist out to find every detail that Ford obsessively wove into WW.

Either he's ignoring MiB because he still hasn't figured out what the snake and the egg are, or Ford genuinely doesn't know what Arnold left behind (as insurance).

> Follow the blood arroyo to the place where the snake lays its eggs.

The tiny island in the river bend below the cliff is the egg, the sinuous river is the snake "laying" the egg, and the maze is carved into the land right off the shore of the "egg."

next episode is the stand off of Hopkins and Harris. I can't wait to watch those two together
