It's the most versatile pickup combination out there.
Coil tap your bridge and neck pickups and you've effectively got a SSS
Luke Moore
I can't stand middle pickups They are right in the way of my pick attack
Ryder Baker
Mini tubescreamer or a ts9?
I play blues/rock/punk with a fender frontman 212R and a MIM tele.
Juan Phillips
Either lower it all the way or stop picking like a retard.
Easton White
...
Jacob Hughes
p90s are the way to go imo
Elijah Young
By that logic the most versatile is HHH
Kevin Powell
pretty sure the circuits are identical.
Joshua Richardson
actually true. My buddy has a limited edition Epi LP with 3 humbuckers. Thing is a beast but the 3 humbuckers just look a bit silly to me. But that's just personal preference, so I see how people might dislike the look of HSH
Nicholas Parker
...
Bentley Sullivan
That was shite and so pretentious it made me cringe
Xavier Morris
I reckon the split H doesnt quite get the sound of a true single coil
Jayden Ortiz
if you roll back the volume know to about 6 or 7, it's pretty damn close.
I have my 8 string set up with coil split humbuckers, and it gets pretty stratty sounding
Jordan Butler
P90s are the best guitar pickup You realize it after you've been around the block a bit
Matthew Bell
It's just a juiced up single coil. it's good for ultra-cleans, but that's about it.
P90s compress the fuck out of the signal, so unless that's your desired effect, it's gonna sound like smashed garbage.
Fuckin' pretentious tone snob hipster Show me your dick
Eli Peterson
It's well established that Les Pauls are shit nowadays. How would I go about getting a good one though? I've never owned one, and I've wanted one for a while. What sort of year and series models should I look into?
Brody Thompson
there's lots of great options out there
If you've got $$$, buy a vintage Les Paul to see what the hubub is really about.
Otherwise, buy a Tokai Love Rock
Or just get a mid range to high end epiphone.
Jackson Walker
omg SOOOO le cringe right?
Samuel Martinez
Go to a shop and actually play some Pick one that FEELS good
Lincoln Allen
What kind of bass guitar should I buy (brand, pickups)? I generally play rock but I'd like something that's versatile.
Jazz bass and P-bass-types are pretty much good for everything. What's your budget? Squier classic-vibe and vintage modified are pretty good for the buck. The Jeff Berlin signature from Cort is also really good, but costs a bit more
I co-own a Takamine acoustic bass with my brother but it's not very useful.
Camden Cruz
One of the high end squiers or a mexican fender then. Also keep an eye on the used market. There are often some guys selling for way lower than the normal price, but you need to be quick. And don't be afraid to try some more unknown brands, at that price most of it will be decent.
Also nice trips
Ethan Mitchell
Thanks for the advice.
Nathaniel Young
Eastman is making solid bodies now...
Current gibbys are nice just way overpriced.
Henry Rogers
Second hand MIM strat, can always sell it on and not lose any money.
Elijah Young
yeah those strat basses are great!
Owen Myers
*blocks your path*
Tyler Anderson
Ngd! I bought an affinity jazzmaster today for 96 bucks as a cheap little backup guitar. 12 inch radius on the neck is super comfy.
Austin Jones
what's he drinking, tonewood?
William Torres
>17-81 feel too thin for me
Kevin Jackson
210bpm 16th notes, I can do faster than 210bpm on some simpler shorter licks
It actually makes me feel good because of the thought of me being superior to other people, is this wrong?
Ayden Taylor
nahh, that's what just what the cup is made of.
Lincoln Price
bom dia guys look at what just arrived on my mail
Bentley Cruz
Sorry, used to answering that question a million times. There used to be a line in the OP about it.
Wyatt Long
>look at what just arrived on my mail a Latin twink?
Chase Phillips

Liam Wright

Logan Rogers

Leo Hernandez
Reminder that wood resonates at different frequencies
Charles Thomas
all the SM57s in this country are super overpriced and there's nobody selling second hand how am I supposed to record my boring frippertronics ripoffs now
Landon Peterson
Reminder that everything resonates at different frequencies
Owen Hughes
It really rustles my jimmies that Ibanez pretty much only put floating trems on their HSH guitars because they're one of few companies who makes HSH guitars at decent price points. If Ibby made a HSH RG with a retro style Floyd like the Gotoh 510 and locking tuners I'd buy 10 of them
Samuel White
this this this this this if it doesn't feel good simply do not buy it, doesn't matter if it's a 5000$ les paul with a 50% discount
Nathan Nguyen
check Fernandes and Cort, their quality has improved greatly in the recent years
Chase Howard
not
Jeremiah Harris
thats not a floyd thats a strat type tremolo
Carter Roberts
Can you suggest me any easy but fun clean songs to play?
Before this gets deleted... Why does this picture always get deleted? I don't get it.

Does anyone have any experience with Guitar Craft/Circle and/or New Standard Tuning? I found out there's a beginners course happening in Germany in February and I'm thinking of applying.
Carter Price
Does anybody else hate Will's Easy Guitar? I feel bad that he's having health issues but he's always so pointlessly rude, not to mention he's always trying to manipulate people saying "he's gonna talk about them on his channel with 85K subs". He's the prime example of an American asshole.
Hudson Rivera
Anyone played one of these? I bet they're shit.
Kevin Wilson
thinkin of gigging with glasses

Jose Rogers

Cooper Rogers
Open Mic tonight.

Wish me luck lads.
David Perry
>Fortunately >Faggot Brazilian talking shit on ANYONE
Alexander Young
Squier classic-vibe and vintage modified are surprisingly good. I got one and it's pretty legit for the price point, and I got it during a sale.
Andrew Hernandez
>Man Needs A Maid Be sure to bring the full orchestra
Xavier Sullivan
$100 for a microphone is very cheap
Jayden Mitchell
luck user!
Nathan Gomez
That looks like an overweight woman. The guitar, I mean.
Jose Gonzalez
played one of these and it was honestly great. I fucking hate him and the brand and I hate myself for liking it but it felt fucking great.
Henry Johnson
no not the guitar
Luke Diaz
> ordered some stuff I actually needed from Thomann > receive an email saying I'll get a 10 euro voucher for each item I review, max 50 euros in total >"oh boy, free shekels"
I used the voucher and bought this for about £80. I always wanted a classic style Tele and I figured I could always return it if it sounds like dogshit. The surprising thing is that it doesn't. The pickups sound decent and the fit and finish is acceptable apart from the frets being totally unpolished. Should be an alright instrument after I set it up.
Aaron Walker
Fucking ugliest wood grain I have ever seen.
kek
Jason Rodriguez
Elaborate
Andrew Walker
is that a fishing sinker
David Rogers
yeah when I was playing my girlfriend said it looked like a cheap ass ikea table. Hard to disagree
Ian Hill
If I'm not mistaken Chapman guitars are made by World Music Corp in South Korea, which makes guitars for a lot of other brands like Gretsch, Schecter, PRS, etc. Chapman just does the marketing and gives WMC the designs.
it's the tag
Anthony Rodriguez
I heard that too. They also have an Indonesian factory now where some other big brands are made.
Alexander Bailey
Are Wilkinson stratocaster bridges any good?
Logan Jackson
No
Daniel Sanders
they are decent, like any korean-made gear will be enough for you unless you're joe fucking satriani
Zachary Baker
The term "floyd rose" is commonly used in conversation to refer to any locking nut/fine tune bridge style tremolo. Much the same way kleenex is used to refer to facial tissues. Calling a Gotoh 510 bridge a retro Floyd would mislead pretty much anyone you would talk to, as it is simply modern strat style bridge. You are obviously a shredder who apparently knows nothing about common electric guitars.
Jace Price
Would you say it's better than the original tex-mex strat bridge?
Gabriel Murphy
certainly, but you could just replace the sustain block on yours and be totally fine.
Landon Martinez
pretty much the same, mabe korean's slightly better
