>scored more for Napolel than prime Ibrahimovic did for title-winning Juve, title-winning Inter or title-winning Milan

It's almost like Ibrahimovic played in a stronger Serie A - back when it was respectable or at least half-respectable. The fact that a player like Higuain can dominate Italian football is just sad. A once great league reduced to a worse version of French football - even there there's competition for the title. Higuain's tragic goal record in the CL says it all. It's not a surprise that he's gone missing in the knockout stages again this season. He scores in a babby league and then disappears against even somewhat decent teams. Spending €80m on the most infamous choker of his generation; a balding, fat 30 year old that can't score against anyone other than Empoli or Palermo is a travesty.

how comes all serie A rejects strive in eplel

why does he looks like someone farted and he somewhat suspects it's you?

Like who? The only examples in this thread is a guy at a perennial mid-table team and a guy in a relegation fight. Meanwhile a fucking PL substitute like Dzeko can go to Serie A and become the league's top goal scorer.

Ranieri

>being this clueless and casual
The level of Serie A is either the same, or higher these days. Memelan and Intercucks have been reduced to laughing stocks that much is true, but they've been replaced by Roma and Napoli, needless to say Juventus is stronger than ever. Mid-table fodder like Fiorentina or Lazio are the same they've been for a decade. Higuain's CL record isn't stellar, no denying that, but that brings up another comparison to Ibrahimovic - they're both flat track bullies assuring domestic dominance and failing to step up in Europe. Difference being that Higuain has very solid chance of winning the CL (thanks to his contribution in league Juve can focus solely on Europe), something Ibrahimovic hasn't achieved in a much longer career with many more opportunities. There are no better #9s than Higuain except Suarez or Lewandovski, both capable of choking as well. That's the deal with designated poachers, often enough there are one season memes outscoring them but the consistency to deliver 20+ league goals is what really counts

You just know some bongistani is going to drop 100mil for him in the hopes of reaching the UEFA league.

Kek. Seriously though, Manure are already supposed to be discussing terms with Belotti who has a 100mil release clause

Italian translation:

>The level of Serie A is either the same, or higher these days.

LMAO. Italian teams used to fight each other for the CL. At the very least we'd get Serie A teams regularly reaching the latter stages together. How many coefficient points and European places does the league have at the moment? It's hilarious to compare the standard of the league to its past seasons.

>Difference being that Higuain has very solid chance of winning the CL (thanks to his contribution in league Juve can focus solely on Europe)

Kek. He contributes to the CL by not contributing? It says everything that he can cut it in Serie A but then becomes unstuck against the mighty Porto.

>There are no better #9s than Higuain except Suarez or Lewandovski

This is exceptional delusion. The guy's not even the top scorer in his babby league.

Juventus are just as good, if not better than 2010 Inter even if they fail to win CL. And if we're discussing the current decade, it's past the prime Milan and Roma or Napolel have the same quality as Memelan's 2011 title winning team. The only reason why they can't win Serie A is because Juve doesn't let them.

then why arent they winning th CL like italian teams used to

>And if we're discussing the current decade

We're not though. This entire chain of discussion started with you comparing Higuain's goal scoring to that of Zlatan's when he was Juve, Inter and then Milan. Nice backtracking though.

>Italian teams used to fight each other for the CL
In early-mid 00's, correct me if I'm wrong but we were discussing the period when Ibrahimovic played in Italy (transfered in 2004, reached prime for Inter and Milan between 2006 - 2012). Since then there hasn't been a drop in quality, there were 2 Italian CL winners but Juve are on their way to second final in three years. The illusion of Serie A stagnating badly is caused downfall of Memelan and Intercucks, nothing else.
>He contributes to the CL by not contributing
You do realize that teams are much more likely to do well in Europe when their domestic league situation isn't stressful, right? You think Juve would give such outstanding performances in CL if they had to compete with Napoli or Roma being one point behind or ahead?
>the guy's not even the top scorer
He broke an ancient goalscoring record of the league, but again you'd have to have at least a faint idea of football outside of PL to know this.

They're this year

It really isn't.

Almost all teams are worse except for Juventus and Lazio.

As with real talibans, they are too stupid to realize that they're fucked in the head and wrong.

slovakia is this season's Sup Forums MVP

AS Reddit and Napolel are better, the latter especially who took the lead against Real Madrid in CL in both legs but were let down by awful defence, like always. Others weren't exactly quality back then and aren't now, just like mid-table and relegation fodder in every league. PL is the only one where teams like Lester are capable of winning the whole thing, or where newbies like Conte walk it without any difficulties immediately.

>that is worth £100mil in ingerlund

>No Arguments: The Post
Dzeko had 8 goals or someting the previous season, while Higuain had 36. Now Dzeko is having his meme season just like Belotti or Mertens, who knows how many are they going to score in 17/18. Unlike them, Higuain is guaranteed to have 20+, that's the difference between flavor of the month strikers and established, elite poachers.
>can't score against CL
Not what he was bought for, look up the archives of summer /trans/. Everyone was well aware of that, the question was whether he could deliver domestically, something he achieved. 4 goals in 4 matches against Napolel and defeating AS Reddit on his own gave Juventus the league title and cup, much more valuable contribution than statpadding against Palermo or Chievo

coutinho was shit tier at inter

Hardly, I've just been posting a lot. It's like Pogba making 2000 passes and taking 90 shots

What lies did he tell to >mouyes and Woodward, seriously... Simply sent them a link to Pogbert's Youtube highlight reel?

Graziano Pellé's highest total in Serie B was 10 goals. His highest total in Serie A was 1 (one) goal.

First year in the PL : 12 goals + 4 goals in English cups.

What went right?

spaghetti and meatballs

Unironically pleased about this, Juve still have the cunning duo of Marotta + Paratici making sure their team doesn't collapse with growing finances and awful transfers (hey Woodward!). Roma strengthening can only benefit the league from neutral point of view, especially if they manage to get out CL groups as the first stepping stone. A guy good at transfers won't be capable of much if (You) lose the key players like Nainggolan - who would be perfect for Chelsea by the way. Sure he made wonders with Sevilla, but not every player is replaceable. Speaking of Sevilla, if Roma at least turned into EL powerhouse that would be huge progress too.

>h-he wasn't bought to compete at the top level
>he's the 3rd best striker in the world

These are some impressive mental gymnastics. Virtually everything you've said in this thread has been illogical. You started by defending Higuian's standard with a completely redundant and random comparison to Ibrahimovic (??). Then made a completely bizarre comment about Serie A being as strong as it was in Zlatan's day. When it was pointed out to you that Higuain is absolutely shit in the CL, you pivoted and said he's good in the league and that's all that matters. Again, when it was pointed out that he's not even the top scorer in the babby league and is getting outscored by completely average players, you deflecting with an off-hand comment that Higuain has broken an "ancient record".

You sound like one of those ridiculous bandowagoners that arbitrarily pick a big team and then defend them at all costs like you have a deep connection with it. Are you sure you weren't from the Far East in a past life? All of you've said is based on feelings rather than facts and figures like my points.

>epl falling for the "made you look" prank
>hes not a serie a reject

>Meanwhile a fucking PL substitute like Dzeko can go to Serie A and become the league's top goal scorer.
Dzeko was in his first season in Italy worse than a Primavera player though.

Imagine they would have sold him after this terrible season, then people would be saying
>Look how strong the Serie a is, Dzeko was shit

So now it's
>Look how weak the Serie a is, Dzeko was shit and is now goat
?

Coutinho was a kid at Inter.

He's a big guy

>has played 4 matches this season
>still claims to be a respectable player

>gets relegated

>Juventus are just as good, if not better than 2010 Inter even if they fail to win CL
kek at the customer already trying to damage control fro the inevtiable choke.
Serie A has been going to shit from 2006 to now and it's only getting slightly better in the last 2 years.

>redundant and random comparison to Ibrahimovic (??)
How is it random? Ibrahimovic was the best striker in Italy during his prime, what I pointed out is that even during that time he didn't come close to Higuain's performances and at the same time didn't have any problems in the "Premier" League as an old man. Quite reasonable argument to make when Britanon questions Higuain's quality.
>Serie A being as strong as it was in Zlatan's day
It is, you still haven't explained why do you believe the overall level beside Mi Lan clubs stagnated. Inter got the treble in 2010? Well, Juve are on their way.
>Higuain is absolutely shit in the CL
And yet played better matches against Barcelona than any of MSN in both legs, having more shots on target than entire Barcelona. Who are some other strikers who GUARANTEE over 20 domestic league goals except Suarez and Lewandovski? I can't think of any, that's why I'm comfortable stating he's on their level.
>off-hand comment that Higuain has broken an "ancient record"
Lmao, so goals scored the year before are worhless now, even though it is the highest number ever scored in Italy? Again, lets see how many goals are Dzeko or Mertens going to score next year. They had 8 and 5 respectively in 15/16, not exactly what you what consider consistent goalscorers, being the same age as Higuain.
>that random seething about Far East
Manure don't play until Thursday, no need to be so agitated yet :^)

It's no wonder non-Juve fans are butthurt about the state of Serie A, especially if they're of the Memelan or Intercuck kind. There's a very good chance of Napolel and AS Reddit progressing, if the former improve defending and the latter get fixed by the new Sevilla guy. Both Mi Lans and their new chinks however, I wouldn't be so hopeful

>expecting any reasoning by the PL-following, FIFA-playing babbies

>this mong is unironically the best striker in the eplel
