This may not be the most obscure, but it fucked me up/opened my mind as a child. I will always remember this as the first episode I watched.

Trust me when I say you are not the only one who remembers that show. I still have all the puppets, plush toys, puzzles, and even most of the episodes on dvd.

OH LOOK

MY CASTLE MUSIC BOX

...

I'm 26, my siblings and I watched and remember Erueka's Castle, but no one else my age does.

...

Good fucking tastes, OP

I have the fondest memories of watching this with my grandmother. She loved the giant in the opening sequence. She's alive.

Most people born after 1985 suck and like crap like Pokemon and SpongeBob

FUCKING HELL LADS PLEASE TELL ME SOMEBODY CAN REMEMBER THIS SHOW

IT WAS A PUPPET SHOW TAKING PLACE IN SPACE AND THERE WAS A CREW WITH DIFFERENT ALIENS OR SOME SHIT

IT WAS SHOWN HERE IN THE EARLY 00'S

I've literally looked for this fucking show in years, but I can't remember anything other than it being puppets or something very similar in looks to youtube.com/watch?v=gOOUqlvqS6g

This guy knows whats up.

Only Canadians will remember this one.
youtube.com/watch?v=pexVTVMkt8c

Eureeka's Castle, Maya The Bee, Rupert, and Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show = Nick Jr Kino

They did. They even made Party hates, cups, and other type of decorations. Denny's also released toys of the show, and there was also a line of larger stuffed animals of the characters which are very hard to find images of on the internet.

Pretty much everything as a kid no one will remember because I am 36

Literally all of them are canadian made. You crazy yanks got all our kids shows.

Fine, how about this one. I hated this show, but still have the theme song memorized

That one episode where the king tried to rape/marry his own daughter the Princess because she was the only one in the kingdom with blonde hair, and blue eyes.

>Video very related.

Nick Jr used to be way better back in the day.

Ahhhhh man! Disney Channel should have never stopped being a premium channel. Remember those goofy ass live action Winnie The Pooh and Dumbo inspired shows they had?

Noozles

youtube.com/watch?v=WIU1DuNYHYI

>cuckalodeon had two shows about koalas back to back

I'd be surprised if anyone remembered this. On Night Flight on the USA network there was a parody version of Dynaman with funny dialogue dubbed over. I still say "It's time to TANGOOOO!" sometimes but no one ever gets it...

>Disney Channel should have never stopped being a premium channel.
Agreed. It completely went to shit when it became a free cable channel, and once gay ass shows like Lizzie McGuire
, and Even Stevens drooped in the early 2000s it became a 100% live action corny teen girl channel shit fest.

The World Of David The Gnome

youtube.com/watch?v=bsdZQub7QVE

Childhood seemed so long ago. I remember sitting on the floor of my parent's room (only room with a television) and watching Dastardly and Muttley ("catch the pigeon") cartoons over and over and spoopy Walt Disney specials like Mr. Boogedy.

that was a spic show

...

...

>36
>didn't even exist in the 70s

Get off my lawn, kid!

It was made in Spain. The original cartoon included cartoon nudity which was edited out by the Jew who got the rights to dub it into English Saban.

had tom bosley tho

>STARRING JUNE LOCKHART
>HUGH RILEY
>JON PROVOST AS TIMMY
>AND, OF COURSE, LASSIE

I didn't much about it as a kid but, looking back it was pretty weird (but kind of cool) how this and Flipper would air as part of a regular afternoon Nickelodeon line-up and not just be confined to Nick At Nite time slots. A similar thing is how for awhile in the early 90's on saturday mornings they'd show reruns of Rocky & Bullwinkle on ABC. No network would try anything like that now days, I think. "Retro" stuff gets confined to retro stations.

Nigga, that's awesome.
I loved Eureeka and i could never find any merchandise in my country, it aired here very long ago when most people didn't even have cable tv, only us upper middle class kids had Nick. Jr.

I tried to find the episodes online the other day but i couldn't find anything anywhere.
It's like the show was completely forgotten in time.

Watched it religiously as a kid.

does anyone remember candle cove

Bone Chillers

youtube.com/watch?v=s_eG_D_aNc0

The animated LOTR film was fun.

vaguely. it was about pirates right? like a pirate marionette and a girl?

I didn't even know what the name of this was until recently. I just remember seeing it on British TV some afternoon and it creeping me out as a kid.

youtube.com/watch?v=hJpUA3hQyO8

1989 creepy sci-fi fantasy. Apparently they remade in as a 2009 movie starring Sam Neil which nobody heard of either.

Didn't they air Dennis the Menace during the day for a while too?

>Childhood seemed so long ago.
Doesn't seem so very long ago to me for some reason.

>Walt Disney specials like Mr. Boogedy.

Found an old VHS tape with both movies on them. I recorded them myself as a kid back in the day. Dubbed them over to dvd before the tapes gave out.

happiness

This shit freaked me the fuck out as a kid.

>The marionette episode
>The gnomes episode
>That opening music

Oh yeah that's right! I seem to vaguely recall a similar thing happening with "Get Smart" but, I kind of doubt it.

Used to love the Not quite human films, and would drop everything whenever Disney Channel would air them.

Yes it did.
Here are the old school Nickelodeon tv spots for it. Used to air around 1PM before or after Lassie youtube.com/watch?v=1Zq3B55lhG4

I kinda crushed on Eureeka, in fact, she might have been my first waifu ever.

I liked the one where his dad gets captured and he has to save him.

>Dat feel when there are no "Are you Afraid of the Dark/Goosebump" streams this year
I own ever episode of both shows on dvd, but I really enjoyed the chat.

Aliens in the Family

It had the girl from T3 in it.

Once you've been exposed to the UK Dennis the US Dennis becomes more like "Dennis The Average Playful Harmless Young Boy Who Hardly Qualifies As Being A 'Menace' No More Than Any Of His Other Peers"

the US Dennis would catch frogs and get a little muddy or something
the UK Dennis would probably set off cherry bombs in public restrooms lol

I used to be a little addicted to Disney Channels Tails from Avonlea for some reason. Wonder if it still holds up.

youtube.com/watch?v=UMB4rTidOi0

I used to jump off my garage roof with an umbrella pretending to be Guido. somehow managed to dodge weebhood

I miss these types of (shows?) (entertainment blocks?)

You norwegian? Because I can't really think of anything else that looks like Ivo Caprino movies.

Who the fuck doesn't remember Fraggle Rock. That shit's still on from time to time.

As a boy I never admitted to liking that stuff. You would get pummeled and laughed at by gurls.

Are you fishing my friend?

...

DUDE
Is that Disney kino thread still up? This definitely belongs there. Not in that thread exactly because I think it pretty quickly devolved into cunny posting but as far as the topic goes that was definitely top tier stuff.

that show is underrated as fuck it's so enjoyable watching louies dad get angry

I have this on VHS somewhere. Gotta find it.

I don't know about that series but, I rewatched the Anne of Green Gables & Anne of Avonlea 80's mini series earlier this year and they hold up amazingly well. Hands down my favorite "chick" intended television (although I consider them more like movies with how I watch them). I'll be holding the upcoming Netflix reboot to a ridiculously high standard of quality because of the 80's mini series.

If that promo video is any indication I probably wouldn't like that series nearly as much as the 80's mini series. Though I think I'd be willing to at least watch the first season and see how I felt from there.
