Hillary's strategy is to hide and hope the media takes care of Trump. It's a bad strategy, since Trump is a media master. Trump can make the media look like biased idiots, and he always has a distraction in case that doesn't work.
There isn't really a better strategy for Hillary, since she seems grating and fake when she speaks. It also doesn't help that she's old and coughs constantly. If she were out in the spotlight, she'd look even worse.
