What are your views on capitalism?

What are your views on capitalism?

Pic unrelated.

Capitalism is the reason we have decent quality of life, yet ignorant people insist on shitting on it.

terrible communism is the way

it's bad

Nice brainwash you fucking loser.

This.
We ride horses and sleep in huts for thousands of years. Capitalism shows up and we land on the moon in 200 years. We fly to places too far for our cars. We have collective access to all human knowledge. Even our shithole countries live like the kings of 4000 years ago.

All due to "capitalism", or rather the mastery of free trade and self ownership

pretty much every invention or innovation relating to space travel was produced and researched in the private sector. so was the internet, and the development of commercial air travel was decided and regulated almost entirely by government bodies; the "commercial per se" aspects of this technology were merely the production of the actual materials.

sorry, for some reason I wrote private sector when I meant public, so substitute as necessary

Really? I didn't know delta was owned by the government? Or Lockheed Martin, or Google or Samsung or Apple or.....
Regulation is worlds different from ownership.

Without capitalism we wouldn't have phones, computers, cars, designer cloths, the internet, and pretty much everything we take for granted now a days

Idk, user. I think capitalism is good, yet people like this thot here exists.

It's alright.

Capitalism is great, but sometimes it can go too far, like in India, and create a very huge wealth gap if not regulated, so socialism is the best

Capitalism is the sale of goods or services at prices that both parties can agree on its a win win

Picture yourself being blindfolded.
Now, you are fully aware you are being blindfolded.
But then you just say “fuck it, it’s wool and it’s very cozy”
That’s pretty much it, capitalism is terrible, we have too much freedom and we don’t use it blah blah.
It’s gotten us very fucking far in a very short amount of time so don’t complain and keep playing by the rules.

Positive

Capitalism strips you of your home, your pride, and your morals. Free markets are great, but uncontrolled corporations is the death of man. It breeds degeneracy. I think that the government should take control of major corporations and use it to fund the government while keeping a fair price, that way street vendors, mom and pop businesses etc can thrive. I am not a Marxian, I do want the rich to give to the poor, I want people to help each other.

>he doesn't know what state markets are and that the military invented the internet

>the government should take control of major corporations and use it to fund the government while keeping a fair price

way to much faith in the government

Let's make epik memes together stupid.

I have days off.

I love you nigger and I like ur frinz extasy.

India is infamous for its bloated socialist enterprises. All kinds of stupid industries have a public component that doesn't belong.

in any society, you have to put the most checks & balances in the thing that can potentially weld the most power.

In capitalism, thats money. and as we see in merica, when you dont put enough checks and balances in, people get fucked.

more people get fucked in socialism or communism

How? Why shouldn't I have faith in a strong leader that is completely competent? In the 40s Germany literally brought Europe to its knees. It took 3 of the worlds greatest superpowers to stop them, and while that was happening, they were still making huge economic success. So, if Weimerists aren't in control, why shouldn't I trust the government? I mean, the governments duty is literally to unify, serve, and protect the people, so why shouldn't I trust them if they're doing that all right

>Keeping it at a fair price

This always means "inaccurate" and "unrealistic" for the sake of the "greater good."

Prices are literally simple manifestations of complex signalling behavior arising from the decision making of mass collections of individuals, their interests, and market evaluations.

The government controlling this means the destruction of this "decentralized calculator" in favor of only a handful of decision-makers. It will by nature avoid the calculations of the many. It is thus inferior

Im not saying cap is the best. i guess the big thing to keep c&b on in socialism is the governments power. And i dont know about communism. true communism gets quickly exploited, sadly.

If someone values their interest more than the nation's, the deserve public execution by the people. Nothing less for a traitor. Leaders shall work for the people, not a handful of individuals. We have rules and regulations for governemnt management, and anyone who would brake those rules in order to serve themselves is an enemy of the people.

In capitalist America bank robs you.

The Weimar Republic was universally hated/disliked by German society and the most recent leader, Hindenburg, was ramming through austerity policies during the Depression, which increased hardship on Germans.

Hitler began his rise in a coalition government and worked with Democrats to shift government economics policies. Curiously, he wrenched open government spending on welfare BUT he privatized the same welfare agencies he was pumping cash into.

This was not purely socialist. Privatization is an often Capitalist pursuit. It's difficult to say exactly what kind of economic model that is. Heavy-subsidy capitalist privatization. Some would consider that socialism, yes, but it's not conventional.

I'm talking about economic efficiency of private vs. public agency price-setting.

You're talking about ideology of altruism

>pretty much every invention or innovation relating to space travel was produced and researched in the private sector. so was the internet, and the development of commercial air travel was decided and regulated almost entirely by government bodies; the "commercial per se" aspects of this technology were merely the production of the actual materials.

You utter ignorant faggot.

This so much.

But American "capitalism" should be called for what it really is -- crony corporatism. TPTB use the same totalitarian powers as Lenin's Bolsheviks for their own profit at the expense of the commonwealth.

Bolsheviks, power is vested in 'the party'. All other forms of power are suppressed violently.

Capitalism, power is vested in a few thousand 'capitalists'. All other forms of power are suppressed violently.

This

My main issue with capitalism isn't even with it itself, it's with the private sector and the government (USfag). Private sector took advantage of their power and "legally" corrupted the government with lobbying

>hurr durr capitalism bad
The shit you can buy at the store for chump change today would make a peasant of ye olde days cream his burlap jeans
