The veteran donation thing is truly one of the dumbest attacks on him. The media, for some reason, thought an impromptu fund raiser would be able to instantly give out money.
You gotta make sure what you're giving to isn't a scam. You gotta make sure their "administrative fees" are not a huge percentage. You gotta make sure they do good work.

Trumps Campaign had conflicting reports on the charity dollar amount and never definitively stated who recieved and how much money was given.
Of course the media is going to ask questions especially if you are running for the most powerful position in the world, it is their job.
I also disagree with Trump wanting to keep this donation private. He has been boasting this donation days before he held that event during the Iowa debate and has stated it several times during all of his rallies.
As of today this is a non issue. He had to vett the charities and that is what took time (albeit he didnt look at the charitites tax returns which was a mistake).
Love the attacks on the media though. I was listening live and i was just amazed. Calling that reported sleazy to his face was incredible.
