This is insame the marvel movies just keep getting better while dc keeps getting worse.

DCFAGS ON FIRST NAME BASIS WITH THE SUICIDE HOTLINE

Has there been a single decent capeshit since dark knight?

>Captain America The First Avenger
>GotG
>Winter Soldier
>Ant-Man
>Civil War
>Deadpool
All come to mind. Haven't seen Strange yet but I'm sure it'll be good.

>literal meme actor playing a literal mene roll
>Guardians of the galaxy 2.0
Of course it was going to get a good review.

What is a menerol? Sounds like a medical term. Does this relate to the character's background as a doctor?

DC PROBABLY BOUGHT THE WHOLE BUILDING AT THIS POINT AND JUST HOUSES THEM ON THE SET AKA SNYDERS OLD OFFICE

...

Pretty much this, although I thought First Avenger was pretty weak overall.

I'd also add X-men: Days of Future Past.

Man of Steel and BvS

Suicide Squad was meh but Jared Leto was fucking masterful

>98%

Judging from the people who saw the movie. Dr. Strange is like Thor2 tier.
Barely decent.

And the last part in Thor 2 which Loki took the crown? It was just a prank as Thor stated in the Dr. Strange movie Loki told him to find Odin on Earth.

Thor 2 was great though, the MCU's depiction of Asgard is awesome and their depiction of funky extradimensional shit in Dr Strange is great too

Ahh Sup Forums meltdown such a pleasure to watch, thank you based marvel

>Thor 2 was great though

>It's another "marvelfag bragging about his paid reviews and pointless RT score" thread

It was

I don't know why everyone shits on the Thor movies so much, they're amazing

like, in a dorky kind of way. Im so tired of everyone saving the world all the time

...

I also really liked the Thor movies, but I guess the setting isn't for everyone.

>unironically liking Leto's le wacky twitchy man

Just admit DC is shit so I may go back to fucking your mother on the carpet

How can you say this unironically? The first iron man was decent but come the fuck on. They're all terribly shot, cheap looking and badly written

no

Every movie I listed was an entertaining action flick that delivered exactly what I expected it to, and more in the case Deadpool and Guardians.
I give no shits about "artistic merit" or whatever it is that you're looking for in superhero movies.

Thor 3 is actually the only marvel movie Ive been excited for in the recent years.... lets see what taika can do!!!

The Winter Soldier was actually more surprisingly thrilling than you could have expected from a super hero movie. That's why it got so much praise.

The first movie is good.

The second felt really cookie cutter.
You would think for something that they are sure to make the third title, they would try to add more to the story (like being the first part to Ragnarok) to the second one

But no, here is a film that is used to setup another Gem for Thano. The plot barely matters.

I'm afraid Thanos will be a huge disappointment. In the Guards of the Galaxy movie he seemed (and looked) like the most uninteresting thing going in the entire movie.

The collector as enemy would be much more interesting.

So what's happening after the whole Infinity Gem bullshit?
Spider-Man vs Green Goblin again?
Dormammu & Shuma-Gorath?
Thunderbolts?
Squadron Supreme with no connections to the rest of the franchise?

TDK is NOT a good fucking movie. It has aged like milk and Bale's performance was literally an embarrassment to the character. The suit looked like shit. Ledger was good and without him ,it would be unwatchable.
replace mediocre Ant-man with Thor 1
First Class was better.
Thor 2 was mediocre
Also Doctor Strange is literally great. Best capeshit in a long time.

Is there anyone that can stop Marvel?

>implying there isn't Marvel review shilling

>every decent movie is getting above 90%

I just watched it, the ratings will probably dip to 70%. It was really just an introductory movie this time and Antman did it better.

I cried multiple time throughout winter solider

>Man of Steel
>BvS

When will this meme end?

Please be trolling

...

Well I am hyped for the movie, but you should take the director's advice and not put that much importance on RT scores.

Good cast, pretty visuals but dogshit writing. The quips were even more cringe than usual.

Also they wasted Mads.

Man of Steel, X-Men DOFP, BvS.

Dont get hyped. The movie was just okay but not a movie you would think about after watching.

this. TDK sucks. not to mention the shitty cartoon that was two face.

people can make this but cant make any proper celebrity fake porn vids...

There's obviously lots of shilling. Otherwise maybe a half (if lucky) Marvel films would get a fresh rating. But even the shilling, they would get a higher score than anything DCEU farted out of their asses.

Why even punch like THAT?

Because Snyders an awful director.

I bet you enjoyed the force awakens

He's just humblebragging.

>marlelcucks still in denial about RT

As a DC fan, Ant Man is one of my favorite movies.

I don't care for Captain America but that's just me.

Politely ask Frank Miller.

The director admits to doing things because they look cool.

just look at the imdb ratings the day a marvel movie comes out. they're all rated at 9.0+ with the first 1000-2000 votes and a day later the movie is down at 8.2 when the actual votes from non-shills are in, which implies the movies are 7/10 at best

Antman already dropped from 8.x to 7.4 which is still too high for that shit flick

>Thor 2 was great though
oh god

I hate Snyder guts but that looks great

Suicide Squad is one of my favorite films because I love all the characters (editing aside).

I don't know why people get so angry whenever someone says they very much enjoyed Suicide Squad.

The film just needed better editing so the intro wasn't so music video like. And of course it is hard for every character to have enough screen time with everything that is going on although the script should have been better written so Jared Leto could have had more screen time.

I am looking more forward to a Suicide Squad 2 than I am for Justice League. The Suicide Squad characters are just so much more better on screen. Maybe it is the DC direction; BvS was okay but to me SS is far superior with its characters.

The same goes for all the DC movies too though. And they usually go even further down than the Marvel ones.

>that score
>all these threads for a movie with literally 0.0 hype in real life

wew the Mouse is going all out with the propaganda this time

>Antman already dropped from 8.x to 7.4 which is still too high for that shit flick
Antman was fucking fun. It's a perfect movie.

The DCEU is drinking from two poisoned wells, that's the real problem. First one is the New52, which is the kind of comics they are taking the aesthetics and edgyness and the other is Frank Miller, which is great but he doesn't get Batman nor Superman. His Batman is almost as much as a charicature of the "real" than Roschach

Once they start adapting Rebirth (which is obliterating Marlel in comic sales so much it's not even funny anymore) with based Geoff at head, it'll all be alright

I think Leto did a good job. I don't get why people hate him so much, is it because it's mainstream? His only role was to take back his property (harley ofc) and we haven't seen him doing the real thing yet. He might surpass Heath's performance one day.

>I don't know why people get so angry whenever someone says they very much enjoyed Suicide Squad.
They're not angry. They just pity you.

Thor 1 is a fun fish out of water story with a beautiful aesthetic in Asgard and a competent director to shoot and stage it. The scenes on Earth feel organic because they're part of the story and Thor's character arc.

Thor 2 is one half cool extradimensional shit with neat visuals and creature designs, and one half painfully awful, boring, unfunny filler on earth with characters that aren't Thor. Stellan Skarsgaard running around in his underwear and shit. Kat Dennings wearing even more clothing than the last movie, hiding her tits like illegal contraband, which defeats the point of hiring her in the first place. Poor Hershlag looking like she'd rather be anywhere else.

It's definitely the MCU's sloppiest movie in their established, post-Iron Man line up.

Maybe if dc give him more than 11 minutes of screen time

Snyder's Batman V Superman could have been a masterpiece using the Frank Miller format.

Yet unfortunately it failed because the Martha scene wasn't edited good. We needed some flashbacks to better understand that Bruce hearing the name Martha gets a flashback, imagining himself as the killer of his parents whilst Superman becomes his dying mother on the ground. That is how I envision the scene.

I did like the Man Bat nightmare scene - reminding me of the giant Bat scene in Batman Forever.

But the movie needed better direction so we got to actually be inside the mind of tormented Bruce.

David Lynch would have done a fantastic job.

To me Jared delivered a very special performance. Hopefully the extended cut will try to do him more justice otherwise I hope he returns in the Batman movie.

because he is a tryhard and that retarded ass grill makes him sound like a fucking idiot

he literally can't enunciate with all that shit in his mouth and there's nothing cool or intimidating about that

To me he played the Joker exactly how the Joker should be

As bad as
>Martha
was, it's more of a meme now. BvS has a lot of other problems. Martha being just the most obvious and easiest way to represent how retarded the movie is.

How I would have saved BvS:

>cut one of the dreams off, probably the Injustice one (because I would want the DCEU go to Kingdom Come instead)
>with the extra time, put a scene of Superman saving people from a derailing train or something like that, we see a little girl looking with awe at sup as he flies away
>once Batman is going to kill sup, that same girl shows up (establish her and her friends playing in the abandoned building before) and tries to protect Clark/calls Batman a monster, thus making him realize he has gone full villain

BAM the best capeshit since Nolan right there, that easy

Yeah but he said the same thing when Suicide Squad was getting trashed.

But my point is that the Martha scene could have been better edited for the scene to be more emotional and be taken seriously.

Go on youtube and type in "Batman V Superman Martha fan edit" and you can find heaps of fan videos that do the scene way better than the Snyder cut.

It is such a shame that Snyder just didn't care to make that scene more special.

>BvS has a lot of other problems
Yeah like the design of Doomsday. Why couldn't he be more menace looking?

I did like the CGI when Doomsday was being born but then the CGI of him jumping around was too cartoony.

Not bad

Britbong here, saw the film last night.

If you'd like, I can do a quick review of the film. Is it out over in the US yet?

>Batman hearing a small girl call him a monster sends him down memory lane to study himself and realize what he has become
How come Hollywood always fails to come up with great fan ideas like this?

Oh my GOD you're a pleb. I'm not even memeing, you really unironically would fit in well on Reddit.

>that same girl shows up (establish her and her friends playing in the abandoned building before)

Does it have any intense nightmare scenes or is it very light toned?

Doctor Strange of course I am talking about.

a total cliche, but still much better than anything Snyder delivered

>MoS
>BvS

lmaoing irl

Suicide Squad is miles better than Batman V Superman

>insert "Marvel is so formulaic at least DC takes a """"risk"""" " here

>but still much better than anything Snyder delivered
How come Snyder didn't do so well with BvS?

He could have honestly made a very good story if he incorporated this decision yet instead all he did was have Superman say "MARTHA" and some flashbacks to the opening scene and then Batman looking around the room, throwing the spear and then promising to save Superman's mother.

How come Snyder didn't actually try to better edit this?

>cuckritics
>7.2
>better
It gonna be Antman-tier shit. But I agree DCEU is even worse.

It starts off with a beheading, a few people get stabbed, Dr Strange says asshole a couple of times, nothing too new considering Marvels old shit.
Only saying this cos I have a 7 year old brother who was scared the fuck out of his mind by Ronan and Thanos in GOTG, which was otherwise a fairly lighthearted film

Otherwise, very good film. Most comparable to Iron Man really, in that it introduced us to fairly serious concepts with tasteful use of light humour to remind you its not all doom and gloom. Good British cast and a decent script, CGI is fucking incredible for the most part, all the space shit was insane. None of the fights ended up being a simple brawl, they were pulling out all these crazy magic tricks with dimension shit on their enemies, made me actually look forward to the combat.

Mads was great but underused. A little long. Otherwise, same comfy Marvel formula but made fresh with enough new twists and likeable characters. 7-8/10

>at least DC takes a """"risk"""" " here
But DC does take risks... every movie wether you like or hate, DC always takes risks whilst Marvel never do.

>A darkish toned Doctor Strange with nightmarish dreamlike scenarios that haunt the main character
NOPE! We must have quips and make it light humor for the young kids.

obviously biased. even my marveltard friends agreed that it was lackluster as an introduction to strange.

...

>None of the fights ended up being a simple brawl, they were pulling out all these crazy magic tricks with dimension shit on their enemies, made me actually look forward to the combat.
No wonder that critic said Doctor Strange will remind you of Green Lantern.

So where's the last infinity stone?

>generic quipfest flick from at the one hand
>generic pretentious flick at the other hand
Geez, what to choose. But it's funny to watch how cuckritics praised marlel so hard and shitting on dceu despite fact it both shit.

I went in thinking about that review and I didn't get any Green Lantern vibe at all. I mean the fights were creative, why would I think about that shitshow?

>DC doest take risks
>So they based and named their movie on the battle between two iconic heroes
>One of these heroes made 1 bil solo in 2008 when nobody cared about capeshit at all
>marketing this movie as great battle so normies and fans would be hyped af
>Put even WW there
>Squad has Joker and Harley
>biggest marketing company
>total (but shitty) copy of GotG formula which is liked by normies
>risks

>every movie wether you like or hate, DC always takes risks
But they literally don't.

They tried to emulate The Dark Knight's tone with MoS and BvS, knowing that TDK was immensely successful. Then, when people trashed those 2 movies they immediately tried to copy the more comedic, "ragtag group of friends with pop music blasting in the background" GotG style for Suicide Squad.

>batman as a villain
>complex politics instead of "lol hydra has infiltrated this shit lmao!" marlel tier bullshit
>not establish batman in a solo movie first (a guaranteed success)
>Joker is in SS for 7 minutes
>nobody gives a shit about Harley

Marvel has the most popular comic book heroes. But DC has more interesting villains.

So what if we just ditch the Green Loser, Batman and Superman.
Replace them with Captain America and Wolverine.
And let them fight Mr Freeze, Scarecrow and Two Face.

>complex politics
C'mon, man.
>not establish batman in a solo movie first
It wasn't risk. It was retarded move based on avarice to make BvS faster
>Joker is in SS for 7 minutes
That's because they were too scared about mad teenagers not appretiating real Joker x Harley's relationship
>nobody gives a shit about Harley
>one of the most popular costume even before movie
>one of the most popular character with it's own solo book and big parts in Arkhamverse

he's a hack. all style, no substance. and no idea how to write characters.

seriously, that's it.

Are you retarded? Marvel "heroes" were literally who before MCU. Only well-known characters were Spider-Man and Wolverine.
And "popular" doesn't mean good.

Proofs please.

*throws a rotten tomato at DC fanboy*
