All his "free shit" for the niggers

free stuff

He will legalize weed, kids love weed

A lack of maturity to appreciate the likely failures arising from unexpected consequences from implementing such a radical and poor thought out plan

They love the taste of his delicious chicken .
Who wouldn't?

They don't have jobs so none of the drawbacks of sanders platform is apparent to them.

They haven't had to pay taxes yet.

gibsmedat, le evil corporayshuns meme, fag marriage, and weed

They're idealists who don't know shit about anything and only jump on the bandwagon because their friends are doing it.

free shit lmao

He is promising to give them all the free shit they deserve for being told they were special their entire lives.

Youth, especially white, are afraid of failing to meet expectations. So they shoot themselves in the foot in order to have an excuse ready for when they fail. Even though they had all the potential in the world.

Holy shit that front row
>Moosleema
>Sheboon

Because he is the only person addressing Campaign Finance Reform which is essential to getting the government to take climate change seriously. Their lives will be directly affected by climate change so having it taken seriously is essential.

They don't earn shit so they don't have to worry about taxes and they want weed and free shit.

the 14 herbs and spices

Cuckoldry and free shit I guess.

college kids made him popular
all you have to do is send your drones to college campuses. put up booths that say do you want free college?, do you have the 1%, vote for Bernie.

easy done..

eyyyy free shit fham das rite mah nigga

People who don't pay taxes, have real responsibilities, live off their parents and are ten's of thousands of dollars in debt because of poor life choices. Are that by voting for berine they'll be able to keep the free ride they've got going on for longer. A bunch of feel good bullshit they can repost on fb doesn't hurt either.

>Cuckoldry and free shit I guess.
This

Climate change isn't real fucking retard. At least not on the scale that these 'scientists' are spewing it is.

The tricky thing though, mate, is that Bernie won with all democrats under 45 in pretty much every state. That includes a lot of hard working people.

Dose that include single mum's, blacks and Mexicans?

He said some shit about college, is a Democrat, and is a convenient virtue signalling opportunity. Some kids jumped on the wagon and it grew from there. Bernie rallies and shit are literally just social events to them, like a bad concert. Only 10% or so actually care about politics, the ones who started the trend. The conversation among the average supporter will go something like:

>Did you hear Bernie beat Hillary in Virginia?
>Oh that's cool, I hate her. So where are we going to eat later?

Bernie is like a shitty band that shows up to play on campus but everyone pretends to like them because they actually just want to get drunk with a bunch of their buddies in a public place.

t. college kiddie

>""hard working"".
You mean minimum wage plebs who don't earn enough to be taxed at any rate even close to someone older?

Dude plz. I know a lot of Americans on Sup Forums are happy to spew this bullshit but they are in a civilization that has huge corporate influence meaning they get mixed messages, one from science and one from oil/coal/gas lobbyists. You have no excuse because I know the information that is available to you in New Zealand.
Do you really think that pretty much all of the world's scientists are in on the same conspiracy to defraud the world so that they can get more research grants?

He's offering to take money from other people and give it to them.

no he's giving it back after it was stolen by the rich

i'm twenty- four and i live in the historic district of my city which is infested with hipsters. bernie signs and bumper stickers everywhere. they literally spray painted "trump" under the stop signs. i fucking hate them all.

I HATE THEM. i hate this grieving self-entitled generation so much

Because 20's and 30's see how they have nothing but negative net worth with student debt. They inherited nothing from the boomers who used the house they inherited from the WWII generation, as an ATM machine to keep living big.

This generation of millennials and Gen Y's are impoverished, facing a life of shit jobs and debt in a decaying West. They see the fatcats of corporatism who've gotten richer, who've outsourced and setup shop where labor is cheap yet still profit off Americans, and people are rightfully pissed.

Trump and Bernie supporters sort of share the same woes, they're both very far from Clinton, only a complete clueless idiot wants Clinton, typically niggers and women voting with their cunts for increased pay to be equal with an engineer with their shitty liberal arts degrees.

Either way, none of this shit matters. The bottom line is that this generation of young people are fucked. You can't compete in a globalized world. Chinks and poo in loos who will sit on their ass working 18 hour straight with no benefits for a fraction of your pay, will always be more "productive in a free market." A free market caters to either A.) the best slaves if all information is equal, or B.) those who control trade secrets.

Corporations that control trade secrets and profit off of them have decided that it's not worth enriching their host country and their workers, but rather make more money by using slaves in the third world.

>inb4 some wannabe Shark Tank honorary Jew says "why should we pay Americans more?"

Promises of free shit. They're just getting out on their own, being responsible for themselves and having to pay their own bills, put food on their table and he comes along saying hey all this can be free! And feeling fearful and uncertain, they run to him like a surrogate parent.

The scale is correct, the timespan on the other hand isn't.

While I'm in full agreement that climate change is real, if you study the data, it'll be hundreds of years before things really go bad.

You don't notice it much because of how long it takes, but I can understand how every day there's a new article that says we're doomed and tomorrow is the last day.

-t. Scientist at Environment Canada

who gives a shit. we need to colonize mars and eventually leave branch out into other star systems or humanity is fucked anyway. who gives a fuck about this rock.

on to the next one.

only 3.9% of hourly paid workers earn the minimum wage so I'd say there were probably a few that weren't.

They haven't experienced the real world. They haven't had to fend for themselves with no one to rely on but themselves. They've been told from birth that they are amazing and special and deserve everything and that is what Bernie is promising them.

Well, what the younger gens failed to understand was that workers are also a commodity. If you are in a skill pool with 20 million other people then your value is basically worthless. So if you went to college for some bullshit and end up working the checkout at the grocery store when you're 26 then your value as a commodity -- a bottom tier worker -- is as low as the law allows.

Those who actually did the smart thing and either went into a trade skill or into a job that has actual demand are doing very well.

Funny thing is my company has a hard time hiring software developers. We even have entry level positions -- literally no experience required, just a B.S. in compsci and you're in -- and we have a hard time finding qualified candidates.

There's a million fucking people with bullshit degrees but we're short on compsci majors. How fucked up is that.

I like that you are thinking big picture, man. I totally agree that we need to find another planet like earth, though I don't think that Mars is the answer because our bodies are not adapted to those conditions. We need to explore space and find a planet similar to Earth but I think that in the meantime the usefulness of this planet is more important than Exxon's bottom line.

Yep. Though moms, blacks and mexicans go for Hillary in overwhelming margins so you're mainly talking about left leaning men under 45.

Would you support the government subsidising Commerce, Maths, Physics, and CompSci degrees?

They are in high demand in any place that isn't rural and it would mean that poor people have no excuse to go and be productive which I think would result in more productivity for the entire economy to enjoy.

>left leaning men under 45
ugh

>implying Sup Forums isn't the cesspool of edgy teenagers

Some people are also fiscally conservative but can't stand supporting a party that denies science and runs on religion.

This. Sup Forums is the grumpy counter-weight to SJWs on college campuses and should be awarded the same amount of credibility.

Le free shit meme

Not really because I don't think that will help, in the long run.

Half the reason school is so expensive now is because it's essentially subsidized by the banks. Tuition was $5000 so schools built buildings and infrastructure that $5000 a head can bring you, and then they realized they could raise it to $10000, so they build buildings and infrastructure that $10000 a head could bring them, etc.

Subsidize tuition to $50000 per semester and schools will charge $75000 per semester with you making up the difference from bank loans and campuses will have gold plated toilets and solar panel paved roads and self-driving electric go-carts.

It'll be awesome, but super fucking expensive, because they can.

The bottom line I see is that nobody has ever challenged the schools themselves on the utter bullshit amount of money they sink into totally unnecessary shit.

A degree in comp sci is pretty meaningless nowadays. Programming is more of a trade than a science. At least until you get to the high level stuff.

first post best post

>They inherited nothing from the boomers who used the house they inherited from the WWII generation, as an ATM machine to keep living big.

I'm no bernie fan but this is spot on to what my parents did.

In demand degrees should have lower interest rates, a Stem student ID more likely to pay back a loan over a business management kid.

Makes an incentive to pick stem majors too.

Once you have experience, that's true. I have no degree. I make $120k/year as a developer and should have no trouble getting hired somewhere else if it comes to that.

But good luck getting a start these days with no degree. You'd better home brew up some wicked iPhone apps or something to show you know what you're doing or get your uncle to hire you into his software firm or something.

^

communism is just not taught in school so they have an idealized version of it. Example: For WW2 its taught that hitler was just crazy and patriotic and decided to take over the world and kill all non-blondes.

The hungarian communist revolution, the german communist revolution, none are ever mentioned. The Russian bolshevik revolution is required to be taught but bolshevik and communist is dropped from descriptions. Basically their education has been dumbed down and they're nice little cattle.

Mate the barrier to entry to these degrees is intelligence not money

You honestly think you can just give some pov cunts a scholarship and all of a sudden they would be capable of studying university level mathematics and physics?

What did you study mate?

Actually that's not a terrible idea. Banks might see the reasoning that a loan for an in-demand degree is more likely to get paid back, therefore is lower risk, therefore may be lower interest.

Whereas a degree in something with no future would be high risk and require a higher interest rate.

Not sure how you regulate that, though I guess the banks could do it individually. ("Getcher english major degree here! Only 20% interest rate! Lower than the other banks by 2%!")

You raise a very good point but I think the problem is easily addressed. In New Zealand the government negotiates with the institutions to provide subsidised education. The Universities want to play ball because ultimately it helps them to have subsidies and that gives the government a lot of leverage to negotiate the cost down. As a result my commerce degree at a top-100-worldwide university costed $27,000 and I think that is a brilliant incentive for people to make something of themselves.

That's what things like github are for. You have to be VERY proactive about this stuff.

Also startup culture is pretty friendly to people without degrees.

I'll just chuck in a quick THIS. govt provided Interest free student loans in New Zealand mean there is no excuse to not make something of yourself.

Hey mate, I studied Accounting and Commercial Law. No degree really has a barrier to entry of intelligence. Stage 1 courses in everything other than perhaps mathematics, engineering and med are actually quite easy and are usually taught with the assumption that the students know nothing of the subject matter, but then again I came from a top university so shitty universities might not be as good at teaching from the lower levels.

Because they're a generation that was told by everyone they trusted that college was the only road, only to find themselves with worthless degrees and loans they couldn't pay as a recession hit. At the same time they find themselves without the unions, trade jobs, or unskilled work that used to prop up a middle class existence. They have no options, no prospects, and precious little hope, but they've also been raised as special snowflakes. They're mad, and Sanders offers them answers that make sense to the narrative they've been fed: you can change the world, people will take care of your, if only things were a little different the world would be better.

They're wrong with him, but they aren't wrong that they've inherited a broken society and a broken system. Their slightly older cousins see the same shit and have gotten behind Trump.

At least in NZ banks are already onto this to an extent but they don't discriminate between degrees. If you are doing a bachelors degree then you will be given interest free overdraft of $2,500.

...

Useful degrees essentially are the only viable option now. Do you think that people are going to start automating less? You need to make money off your brain because in the future your body will have a terrible ROI.

stupid fucking kids

lol, this meme. Climate change being the end of the world is literally made up to scare people into voting for communism.

See but that's the problem. Half of the population has a two digit IQ; most people simply can't make money with their brain.

What's the appeal of Bernie Sanders? Well..
>kids
>desperate to have something to fight for
>brainwashed into thinking changing to socialism won't make us turn out like Venezuela or Europe
>like the idea of not being crushed by crippling debt from college
That's really what it boils down to. Honestly, it's why Hillary is slowly starting to adopt Bernie's stances. The more she makes herself out to be Sanders, the likelier they'll come to her side to vote for her. It's working out well, 'cause most kids are too young to know all the fucked up shit Hillary's done in her lifetime, and even if they did, they'd still vote for her 'cause vagina.

3/4 courses you listed contain first year mathematics

"Assumed knowledge: HSC Mathematics Extension 1. Students will be expected to have achieved a combined mark of at least 100 in Mathematics and Mathematics Extension 1."

I am not claiming it is particularly hard but the majority or kids are not going to do this shit free or not

...

Young people are terrible at long-term forecasting of the consequences of actions.

...

I would love to fuck the one on the right. There is something about young pudgy "alternative" chicks that make my dick diamonds

Yeah, but college kids are constantly lied to about what a useful degree is. I work with teenagers, they're literally told "oh yeah, get this English lit degree, you can teach english in a high school" and "art history degrees mean you can run a gallery." They're not even told about trade schools. They have no chance unless they happen to already be cynical enough to assume that adults are lying to them as a matter of course.

everyone in the younger generations have become to lazy to compete in the capitalist market and only want free handouts that bernie sanders can provide

being white

Isn't it obvious? They're all fucked and want a way out or help via free shit.

Free shit

>why would young, entitled people want free stuff?
>it just doesn't make any sense to me..

Retards want to vote for a retard.

Who would have guessed?

livescience.com/36143-iq-change-time.html

IQ can be improved and I think it would be good to invest in improving it. Also, there are people with 2 digit IQs who work in professional services so it is not the be-all-end-all of mental ability.

Whether the population is suited to this changing job market is irrelevant. The job market is still going to change unless you want to discourage technological innovation so it is more important to make sure people who could make money off their brains are not going into a dying industry than it is to worry about the people who may find the growing industries hard to compete in.

Its not even the free shit that drives them so much, its the sense that Sanders can make the system fair. This is a generation that isn't equipped to fight for themselves and, for the first time since the Boomers, has pretty much nothing set up to fight for them. The Unions are gone, corporations have moved from making things to quarterly growth and don't give a shit about their employees anymore, the State can no longer support largess, unskilled labor has been made worthless, basic labor protections are eroding. They've been taken advantage of and they want solutions. They'd be Trump supporters if they hadn't been fed this multi culti horse shit.

Father figure complex. I didn't know so many kids in America had this. Sad!

General mathematics courses are much easier than the majority of stage 1 courses in a mathematics degree.

A great deal more kids will do it if there is not such a massive financial burden.

Do you have a lack of toilet complex?

Well kids being lied to is a separate problem that should be addressed but I don't think it negates the main point.

kekd

>IQ can be improved and I think it would be good to invest in improving it.

By definition, 50% of the population will always have a two-digit IQ. Thats how a normal distribution works and all of the major IQ tests are essentially just giving you a Standard Score. Hell, anyone who works in the area will tell you that the number is pretty much useless beyond what it tells us about standard deviations from the mean. 100 isn't some objective measure of capacity, its literally the 50th percentile.

Youthful idealism vs jaded people

Giving them free stuff for doing nothing, its just like their parents.

It negates the main point because kids don't have the information they need. We're starting to see it a little with pushing STEM, but we still live in a world where companies like University of Phoenix and National Lewis haven't had their entire boards imprisoned for fraud. Our entire educational system is still built to prepare kids to service an economy that hasn't existed for two generations.

You are assuming accurate measurement but you are right, most will have that level of IQ. But people can still be taught better ways to utilise their IQs more effectively for solving problems. Check out that earlier article.
People having low IQs doesn't mean that we shouldn't incentivise getting a carreer in the only job fields that will remain relevant.

Nice meme

no, it doesn't negate the main point because that problem is easily solved. Just tell the kids accurate things. If you solve that problem the point stands.

XD

That is factually incorrect, I even quoted the assumed knowledge for the first year first semester mathematics for any eng/sci stream so that would be trivially obvious for you

Whatever dude I cant be bothered with your b8 anymore

Thats not what I'm saying. I'm saying that, by definition, 50% of the population will always have a two digit IQ. Thats why we continually revise the conversion tables for scaled scores.

Can below average people still lead productive lives and do well? Sure, but in a normal distribution half of the population must be below average.

Bernie is a demagogue.

You have entire industries designed to lie to kids, though. Thats part of the main problem. They're misinformed their entire lives, the people who used to be there to look out for them are gone, and then they're criticized for being lazy and entitled when they do what they're told and complain that they don't get the lifestyle they were promised. Giving them accurate college counseling their senior year of high school isn't going to change that. We need to redesign our educational system from the ground up and rebuild significant parts of our economy.

He's the only candidate who seems like he genuinely cares. That's literally it.
