>unified mankind
TOPKEK

My government's roughly the same, except individualistic is fanatic, and militaristic is moderate.

I take spiritualist, militarist, xenophobe.

None. Consolidation of all power into one organization is the worst idea ever. It is guaranteed to be the most corrupt government the world will ever see. The fact that you cannot escape their territory as a refugee since they are worldwide means you're toast.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

>not taking militarist, consumerist and xenophobe

the game feels off for me so far.
it seems like the AI isnt really trying to challenge me too much.
im thinking i need to change the war criteria to agressive or whatever its called.
what is your configuration?

Militaristic xenophobe collectivist. Purge brown people and xenos all day.

>unified mankind

Go fuck yourself, globalist scum.

>consumerist

Weed Government
Praise the blaze

i seriously not sure why to even produce armies.
i just destroy their fleet and enough outposts soi can enforce vasalization.
why would i want to fight earth bound battles?

I've seen this game posted so much, what is it?

Because Paradox can't into balance. Just have a fleet hang over their capital world for a few months, and they do whatever you tell them.

>unified mankind
You couldn't get any more dysgenic if you tried. Man is not equal, treating it like it's a unified state is against nature itself.

Not to mention, monopolized power leading to inevitable corruption of a one state species.

>mfw Argentina LARPing as Starship Troopers

...

What game desu?

i can do that withought land battles tho...
i picked "weak" trait for my jew race.
it it had so very litle effect on the game i got seriously disapointed.

if you dont win space battles you cant get your armies to land battles anyway,
and if you win space battles you win the war anyway.
i think land armies are completely useless.

>unified mankind

Let's be honest, realistically space colonisation would happen on a national basis (shame no sci-fi has had this before though).

That said, I chose xenophobe, spiritualist and militarist in my current playthrough

Honestly the game feels pretty dead no matter what right now

is there a mod that adds individual human nations to the game?

...

>i can do that withought land battles tho...
I didn't tell you to do land battles. I explained why armies are almost worthless and the reason they suck is because Paradox doesn't know how to balance anything.

The only value armies have are early game when surrounding empires btfo your fleet and you need to stall for time to get a white peace. After you have a combined total 50k+ fleet, armies have no purpose.

Install the beta update. It includes a tab that alters how aggressive the AI plays, also includes a bunch of new shit. That said I think the 1.1 update is coming out by the end of the week.

kek

>not taking Fanatic Xenophobe and Militarist

There's a whites-only mod, and it's easy to mod niggers-only and whatnot if you want to for some reason.

There's always different namelists too. I custom-made a French one pastebin.com/iKyV6Urv

>expert traders

Against the A.I. yes, land armies just determine how long it takes you to win.

Against a human, I can see it being an important game mechanic

stellaris

it's paradox game just released which means it'll be fully playable maybe 3 years from now, like elder scrolls and fallout

Are you talking about real life or Stellaris?

I played this game for a few hours and found none of it interesting. I normally like Paradox games. Is it shit or what?

>Are you talking about real life or Stellaris?
I don't know if this is funnier or sadder.

yea i know that feel bro.
i kinda just stoped playing after a few days.
i ran a jew race with weak, Intelligent, fanatic materialist colectivst.
it was kind of funny. i didnt intigrate alience to keep my empire 100% jewish.

i downloaded it, i didnt change the setting yet tho.
does it make the game more engaging?

you played vs humans?
i used a cracked version so im not sure i even can.

whats your aggressiveness setting irl user?
would you want to fite me?

I'm really irritated how imbalanced the peaceful route is versus militarism and genocide.

Patch 1.1 will make it even worse. xenophile-fanatic pacifist becomes the most OP combo. Nothing tops having 6 embassies, xenophile's influence bonus, and 30% increased pop growth speed.

Xenophobe is such a horrid trait to pick. Sure you can purge people, but you genocide one enemy that 1000+ negative influence against you and suddenly the whole fucking galaxy hates you for -100 points for the next 50 years. Not to mention most AI will hate you for being a zenophobe to begin with.

If they added -30% ethics divergence to fanatic xenophobe and +5% happiness when only race on planet I could see it being a reasonable pick.

>open up stellaris
>I will just play one game he said
>12 hours later.jpg
>oh fuck I shouldn't have declared war on that alliance
>try to fix my fuck
>my fleet gets cut off from my base so I have to declare war on another empire
>almost 24 hours pass without me noticing or feeling it
>sleep patterns are all fucked up

No more of this shit for me. Only super casual tier games from now on.

probably despotic hegemony or military junta

>play stellaris for an entire day
>realize it's a completely empty game with nothing to really do
>hate self
>do it again next day

feels bad, I really want to like it

Well Paradox is Swedish.

I'm glad Xenophobic Militarist is hardmode. I get to tell those cuck devs I won their game and made a galaxy that is entirely human without using console commands.

Collectivist and Materialist Illuminated Technocracy

>This government is an advanced form of materialistic oligarchy, where a committee of technocrats, often the leading scientists of their fields, hold power. Technological progress is considered vital to the future of the state.

HOI4 in a week though

>the whole galaxy hates me
>rek them anyway and vassalize them
>only makes my empire stronger

The key is to be aggressive so you have lots of stolen planets/vassals to fend them off.

with this game and hoi4 being released so close together I'm worried they will drop support for ck2. The game is finally getting good

Heinleinist Republic

>service guarantees citizenship
>anyone can try to be a citizen. the government will find something suitably dangerous or necessary for you to show your worthiness and responsibility.
>the people are more free
>the people get harsh punishments for the laws they do break
>parents are responsible for their minor children. your kid breaks the law and you get caned for it.
>state is responsible for maintaining the highest standard of living that the economy's productivity will support.

Anyone play distant worlds? It's basically the precursor to stellaris. It was on sale so I bought it.

It's a flawed question I think, it works on the assumption that you could unify mankind. In a world of 6+ billion people it would be very hard to do so, so I believe we should build our system of government on the premise that there won't likely be much unity...

..which is pretty much what most developed nations have already, where there is separation of powers, i.e. - judiciary, legislative and executive.

>you played vs humans?
>i used a cracked version so im not sure i even can.

Yea; most of the time people quit before anybody gets anywhere. The game is too long to do in one sitting.

yea, i never understood how multiplayer iwas supposed to work in paradox games.
i think in total-war only the battle part is multiplayer.

fwiw, the people I played against were bad at the game. So, advanced strategies never really mattered anyway.

I played some EU4 mp games before, it's fun when everyone picks a minor in the same region and tries to work together. very difficult if you're not a NEET though

i might be possible for highschoolers.
i finnd it hard to get the d&d group to meet once a week for a few hours.

>it's a 'CPU does everything for me desu' episode

lol does the pot head trait let produce more happines but less credits?

Made me kek outloud, good one

Khalifate obv

sorry, i missed that post before.

The answer is always:
>Isolationist/Xenophobe
>Economy
>Fleet Size
Everything else is shit.

National Socialism

I was deciding a government.. Then i uninstalled and went back to ck2.

Fuck Stellaris.

...

>went back to CK2
Same. I think Stellaris has definite potential but it's barebones right now. I'll go back to my Trump dynasty that's slowly forming a British empire

>White leader in Sweden
>2200
Good one
