Hollywood Handbook, they are by far the best hosts I've ever listened to.
Hayes and Sean have such amazing chemistry and can salvage even the worst guests. Except Tom Scharpling episodes, those episodes are pretty much pure shit.

Anybody else fucking HATE the iOS 10 podcast app update.
Shit is fucking garbage.
Pocketcasts is alright, but they have issues with paid podcast subscriptions.
I've heard downcast/overcast are good options too
No Agenda Show is pretty much all I listen to.
>podcast
>Sup Forums
Wrong board, OP.
Please point to the proper board then, this is more less the entertainment media board.
Bill Burr
Watching Westworld (best mysterious sci fi show since Lost)

I'll occasionally listen to Film Junk too, but I can find the personalities involved grating these days.
The Dick Show
>My Favorite Murder
I heard that one mentioned on La Grande Bouffe a little while ago (a fairly good - if short - film podcast if anyone's interested), does it follow the LPotL sort of format in the sense that it takes a look at things from a comedic pov?
War Rocket Ajax (Sup Forums)
Movie Fighters (same people as WRA, but about shitty movies)
The Best Show with Tom Scharpling
I regret the iOS 10 upgrade in general. What's with all the bubbles? What are we fucking android over here?
Filip and Fredrik podcast. It's two swedish tv hosts who talk about pretty much anything thats going on in the news with a lot of anecdotes. It helps if you're swedish since they reference back to pop culture from 80s and 90s sweden quite often but it's still mostly focused on international topics.
>Except Tom Scharpling episodes
Haven't listened to Hollywood Handbook, but I love Scharpling and The Best Show (as I just posted)

POTP is great. I like dipaolo when he's not talking sport. I've only heard mcinnes on other podcasts, but I don't get it. He's like someone's dad who found Sup Forums and thinks saying nigger as often as possible is epic trolling
it's fucking shit
two women talk about a half remembered wikipedia article they read and ad nothing except "omg can you imagine how they were feeling????????"
oh right, well, I'll give that one a miss then
Mystery Podcasts are usually boring as fuck because the people that do them are super seriously into them and are too scared to joke about horrible shit, the only non-boring one I watch is Thinking Sideways. It's not as funny as LPOTL but there's good bants and good mysteries
...
y'all need to stop what you're doing and listen to Athletico Mince straight away. Not sure how well it would translate to non Brits, but it's the funniest thing I've listened to in a long time. Don't be put off by it being described as a football podcast, it's not.
>Tom Scharpling
Those episodes are great. You're wrong about that one.
I also started listening to LPOTL recently too, it's pretty good.
I'm a big fan of GiantBomb and GiantBeast
>Except Tom Scharpling episodes, those episodes are pretty much pure shit.
How can you not love the Scharpling episodes if you like the show?
>Except Tom Scharpling episodes
He's alright on HH. I don't like his show though, he can be funny but the show has a weird atmosphere where all his callers and staff are scared of him and have to fake laugh and get shit on dutifully, meanwhile he has 0 tolerance for any ribbing.
He's also one of those 'nice guys' who fawns over his 0.4% female listeners, and treats all his female guests with kid gloves. Wouldn't surprise me if he is a Devin Faraci type overcompensating.
The Dick Show,
Joe Rogan Experience,
Hardcore History,
The Black Tapes
Is there any podcast like the YogPod? I want two (or more) mellow British fellows just talking about anything.
How Did This Get Made - don't like Raffi, but Paul Scheer is entertaining
In Our Time
Dunc'd On
>Stuff You Should Know
I used to listen to it, and I don't know if it's my imagination or what, but I feel like it's gotten fluffier as time went on. It's like they're just reading the Wikipedia article and they keep coming to questions they don't know and they're just like "uhh...maybe. Sounds right." Plus Chuck the Cuck seems to have a lot of white guilt and is always treading really lightly.
>In Our Time

Tanis is good to, though I've sort of lost track as to what is going on.
>Hardcore History
Seriously hope he's doing something on the Far East. Or at least gets us out of ancient history. The recent series has some serious weak points in them.

The last two are true crime stories akin to Serial, but limited short runs that are a great listen. Does the same thing in Serial where you think everything is wrapped up the the first episode or so, but then goes into areas you wouldn't have expected.
