Lol

Could build a perfectly fine gaming rig for 900, not including keyboard mouse and screen tho

Really? I don't know much about computers but everyone I talk to always suggest that I should spend around 2k to make it worth while

this

ryzen 5 / 8 ram / gtx1060
surround those parts with shity case and a fine board and hoopla a pc

You could buy something under $650 that's perfect

8 ram is starting to be quite low nowadays, and I wouldn't go for the ryzen 5
And you're missing psu and ssd there

>1.8k

done

kys

what would you get?

ssd is not a must have.. psu the one that fits best
probbly a 450 - 550

>Buy cheapest laptop available
You don't want to do that. Those things are so fucking bad. I should know. I work here

I don't build a computer and put the money into a car or guns

Imagine spending over $1000 on a computer that will make you less attractive women,

so fucking stupid kys

Good luck getting any good deals on GPUs right now. 1080's are almost the price of Titan XPs.

Good luck OP. I'm saving my money for a new rig myself. Looking to get one of the newer i7's, 16gb of ram, either two evga 1080s or one evga 1080ti, 500gb ssd or 1tb ssd for the OS with a couple best games, with 2-2tb hard drives as slaves.

I have a 1080p monitor with a 144hz refresh, but I'll probably get two of the same 1080p's or if I just get the single 1080ti I want to get a 1440p 144hz if possible. I kind of don't want to upgrade for a few years.

Pic semi-related, my old case.

>>Buy a ps4 pro
>>be true master race

It's impressive how they're able to charge so much for so little and still make a fortune

Get a 144hz monitor and a mech keyboard. Wireless headset too.

Intel i7, Coffee Lake if you can find it
Whatever motherboard you find for a good deal that fits your cpu
16GB RAM
nVidia 1080Ti
750W PSU
120GB m.2 SSD [boot drive]
2TB HDD [go bigger if needed]
Fractal Design Define case

Fill in for yourself what I didn't list

...

*buys a mac*

Now is kind of a bad time to build a pc, esp with an intel chip. Wait till Meltdown and Spectre are sorted.

Not op, but the other guy. This is the first I've ever heard of it. Care to share our just a quick Google?

Don't build a pc just buy a ps4, easier for you especially

Meltdown and Spectre = serious vulnerabilities within intel chips (mac and amd are safe but fuck that shit)

Are new patches and shit not fix the issue? Is it worth waiting until the new gen Intels? I'm already running on a i7-4790k so I'm kind of already vulnerable.

Put 900 aside for a nice adaptive refresh monitor that’s at least 1440p and 144 Hz. More is always better here, but 900 gets you into good models.

High end Intel i5. The i7s are nice but almost no game benefits significantly.

Max out the RAM. 16 is probably fine, but like the monitor more always helps.

SSD is a must. Fuck loading times. 256 with a 1 TB backup is a good arrangement.

The video card is the other big one. A 1080ti fits your budget and nothing benfits games more than GPU.

PSU is whatever is your power draw +50%. Case is whatever old shit you can find. Mobo could be anything.

You prob want a nice mouse too.

20.3 teraflips Intex processor
many of the rams by optimum brand
xtera graphics chip outboard 1200
multithreaded flat screen monitor X2
diamond blade carbonV jaguar black case from Lester brand
Snipp decryption backup firewalls
that is half a computer. you will need another 1.8k to finish

Make sure you get a 8700k. The performance jump to the 8700 was large. It will last you 10 years probably and you can upgrade the gfx card every few years.
