Bleak/10
Would've had more impact if you left out the sign.

I thought the sign added to the composition. If there was no sign it would just be a frozen lake

These photos are kind of boring :(

You'd still have the railing to add some modern contrast, while still being "out there, alone".

>off by one
Those two are relatively boring, I'd agree. The black border I'd personally crop off of them.

Bleak/10. Well done fam, i'm impressed. It actually is a nice image.

The black borders are cause screen shot. The original don't have the borders but too big of file to. Post on b :(

This photo is a little more interesting

I like this photo alot but it's pretty much same as pic in OP

Breddy gud, the positioning is solid and the lake looks pretty clean. Also not a lot of extra light pollution from the foreground or behind the lens.

That's basically what I was suggesting in my first post, though with the angle of the OP pic, just shifted to the right a few feet/couple meters.

This is user #2. It's weird that both of us would respond the same (bleak/10) unbeknownst to each other..

I like this one most

This is definitely one of my top edits so far.

Should I continue posting?

I'm not sure how many lurkers there are, but I'm pretty stoked. Some quality captures here.

Thanks man means alot :)
Even one lurker is good enough for me

Not the same. Also nice. Bleakscape thread.

I think I fucked up on the saturation for this photo.
Made the sky look to unreal. Lemme know if you like this one orrrr

Captures? How about original images?

This one

Sure I can post the unedits if youd like.
Just lemme know what photos you want to see unedited.

Didn't mean to offend: I refer to all digital or film photography as captured images, to differentiate from hand-painted.

Looks bliss

I got an idea I want to try

What's your idea user?

I once almost had a cartoon show

I may have invented new genera or style

Looks like a damn captcha. "Click all street signs"
Detracts from subject. 8/10

Lmao. Here's another one for the captchas ;)

Taking thousands of high quality pictures and motioning them. I think you can get better quality than regular video cam. The way you animate cartoons

What was the name of your cartoon show that you almost had?

So kind of like how the old cartoons worked? That's pretty cool.

Same way planets are animated in space. Pictures and pieced together

20 hour flight might still have it

Like the old video camera yes

You should follow through with your idea user, if you still believe in it.

Love this none. Thank you for the inspiration. Going back to bed.

Not that user, but I gave up on my dreams what feels like a lifetime ago.

My attention span isn't that small. If I was younger I'd start now. I have work tomorrow I don't want to go to.

new dreams will come to you.
That's what happened with me and photography. I got into it this month and love it, it's given me something to do in life.

Working sucks. What do you do?

If only those lines under the cake weren't there.. Would've been a decent photo.

I deal drugs

Forgettable
Symmetry bad
Ok
Meh
Very anime
Watch your leveling
No, random wood and leaning tree lap over each other
Meh, and why box with graffiti?
Google Street View quality
Symmetry/horizon bad, use rule of nines

OP get splittone sorted you will like it

Go into the wild. Pay attention. You will be rewarded, I assure you.

Watch your leveling
Ok use of color

Hook a brother up?
How do you watch leveling.. New to the whole. Photography thing lol.
What's the rule of nine?

>not knowing asymmetry creates object focus
Do you even photograph concept, user?

Ok, OP, your composition needs work. I suggest rule of nines, unless you have a good reason to break the rule.

Your use of color is pretty good for a newb. Don't doubt yourself on color.

Thanks for the input. I tried googling rule of nine and it gave me some shit about burns.
When I added photography it suggested Rule Of Third. Is that the same thing?

Note: I'm saying Symmetry bad, not Asymmetry bad.

My bad, rule of thirds

Thanks.

The basic idea is that centering the horizon creates a compositionally static shot. Ditto with centering the main vertical object.

That said, it is okay to break the rule if you want, the rule is only for people who unconsciously center things.

I don't deal to strangers sadly sorry. I will also never promote drug use.

No, but I'll rate the ratings on your photos.
9/10, very to the point and critical, without becoming insulting. Bravo.
10/10, provides critical input without reducing the rating of the image to mere numbers.

Average 9.5 ratings rating, feelsgoodman.

Something like this at 100 frames would awesome.

I've taken videos of the sun before with a $30 camera.
