HOW TO SPOT A PSYCHOPATH: FROM CHARM TO MANIPULATION

Psychopaths display different traits depending on their disorder, but common signs include superficial charm, a grandiose notion of self-worth, the need for stimulation and impulsiveness, pathological lying, the ability to manipulate others and a lack of remorse and empathy.

Experts claim people usually find psychopaths intriguing, but can’t put their finger on why.

This is down to incongruous behaviour because psychopaths tend to do a lot of acting to deceive, or mimic normal reactions, sometimes changing their views and reactions quickly.

For example, upon meeting someone, he tries to become 'the most interesting person they know' and presumably adopts suitable interests and responses to do this.

His response also gives away another common trait - a grandiose notion of self-worth - in that he can be the most interesting person in the room.

Psychopaths occasionally tend to exhibit unconvincing emotional responses, with slip-ups including tone of voice or body language.

This may be because they are unable to understand emotions such as fear and love, but can mimic them.

Generally psychopaths' 'emotions' are shallow and short-lived and there is a manipulative ulterior motive to showing them.

For example, he offers to do favours and tells false secrets to people to gain their complete trust.

He also displays insincere charm - another trait associated with psychopaths.

One psychopath says: ‘I keep secrets, and tell them fake secrets to further gain their trust, and once they trust me enough, I ask for favours, reminding them of the favours I did them. I can get literally anything from them, which is incredibly useful.'

Psychopaths typically display an incredible ability to manipulate others and sometimes take pleasure in doing so.

Psychopaths often have an air of superiority about them.

Lessons

Data's Day (S04E11) is pretty comfy, user.

The one with Wesley and Picard on a shuttle craft.

thats nice,

wrong thread fucktard.

Any episode with Barclay.

The one with the lower crewmen

dat episode when Keiko turns into a kid...

the episode where Beverley Crusher has erect nipples.

The Lower Decks

Most of the time ensigns have no clue what is actually going on.

The one where Visor boy falls in love with that physicist hologram and then the woman comes on board and he forgets to delete his hologram history and spaghettis the fuck out when she sees her holographic sex sim

Here ya go

I really like The Pegasus.
>dat awkward Picard
>dat pissed off Picard
>Romulan fuckery
>Starfleet fuckery
>Grade A technobabble

Comfy is kind of tricky, here's my suggestions:
203 Elementary, Dear Data, Pulaski challenges Data in holo-adventure
319 Captain's Holiday, Picard goes to Risa
411 Data's Day, Data makes a record of the days events,
525 The Inner Light, Picard lives another life
607 Rascals, Picard and co turned into kids
725-726 All Good Things... 5/5, The trial ends

>been watching all the episodes on netflix
>on season 7, figure theres two more seasons
>now see I am 4 episodes from the end

deep space nine is good r-right guys

>Fistful of Datas

is the best episode of them all, in my complete factpinion.

It is

>deep space nine is good r-right guys
yes. Besides, after the quality of seaon 7 do you really want more?

Yes. Then Voyager is terrible for the most part and Enterprise isn't as bad as every says

Oh, good.

I liked the one with the lower deck crew desu. Also worf and data are my favorite crew members, and it seems like there are more episodes centering on them recently.

I liked enterprise, even with the weird "T'pol is definetly not sex bait but here she is with nips blazing" thing going on.

Troi's fucked up Betzoid accent doing a fucked up Western accent made me want to kill myself. Also Barclay and Worf's kid are uncreative hacks because they just stole the plot of Rio Bravo for their "original" holodeck program.

yeah that shit was sweet
or the one where wesley has to rescue picard from a drunken sailor

stargazer was not constellation class

they also dropped the turtleneck undershirt by that time

The episode where Kira is wearing garters under her uniform.

data's day is the only answer

nothing is more comfy than data narrating

Yes it was. What you want to say is that it wasn't Constitution class.

DS9 is imo better than TNG

...

>The Royale
>Bad
P L E B
L
E
B

>That mystery
>Those casino hijinks

That's my comfiest episode.

What's up with that pose?

C O N T R A R I A N

'sbin a long road...

it's bin a long time...
but my TIME is finally near
en I will see my dream comealivealast
AGGH will touch the skyy
and they're not gonna hold me down no mo
no they're not gonna CHANGE muh mind

>I'm so stupid I can't understand what you'd see in this episode so I'll just assumed you're pretending
Why do you even watch Star Trek? Just pretty colours in between counselling and shock therapy sessions or something?

"Commander, tell me about your sexual organs."

I do not HAVE sexual organs, I am Orange Goo, and I am naked, these "clothes" are my skin, so stop touching me like that or I'll have you thrown in a cell

Any rape gang episodes

>everybody that disagrees with me is a pleb
Boo hoo hoo.

What do you even watch Star Trek for, just to feel a sense of smug superiority? The vast majority of the fandom has a low opinion of that episode. If you spend all your time trying to place yourself above everyone else, you're just going to wind up all alone in the corner, the king of your empty kingdom.

If you like the episode, that's fine. If you think liking the episode makes you a patrician, and everyone else a pleb, seek help.

Station security Deputy Gowron here.

I received reports of a SheHe approaching Starfleet Officers and asking them about their genitals which contravenes Station Regulation 5235, or 5325, or something. The point is, it was acting dishonourably and it's dead now. Crisis averted.

The last episode.

>All good things must come to an end.
i cry everytim

>>All good things must come to an end.
>... but first, 4 movies

>No Wesley episodes pls I hate that faggot

Mah nigga

I also liked the royale.

Wow, TWO Wesley-haters in one thread. I can't believe it. You people are rarer than unicorns. What are the odds? A-maze-ing.

The Conspiracy one in Season 1.

What's happening here ?

Pixels.

I loved that episode. What at that point had been essentially a kid's show suddenly turned into a Tobe Hooper movie.

make it so
