Its a bastardization of some meat called cappacola or something. On sopranos they would ask for it but with the heavy accents it came out as gabbagool.

I think everyone can name Dick in a Box and Stefan, though it's more a Lonely Island skit and Stefan is like 30% writer-improv with 20% out of character laughing. That's really it, though. SNL's saving grace was its actors in the 80s and some of the 90s.
I can see Bobby Lee in my head in numerous skits. I can picture everything that had me rolling. Mad had writers, SNL had a few actors. That's the main difference.

That's why SNL is such garbage these days. Everyone expects them to play up whatever's relevant, to the actual detriment of any humor to be found in the subject. The fans and the writers themselves forgot there's more to make fun of in the world than whatever's currently in the news.
