Fight Club

Kingsman or Casino Royale

Chef.

>All the characters in that picture are together, but they're still alone.

Grandma's Boy

Adventureland, I wish I was joking, Autumn Pittsburgh looks comfy as fuck but I've been to Pittsburgh and it sucks.

This, or lotr

I wanted to watch this since it came out and I finally did a couple months ago. I was not disappointed.

This. Or any WKW really

This was great!

Holy mother of comfy OP, source?

...

Slap Shot or Uncle Buck

King of Kong.

I like these, but

The Goonies

If I'm by myself LOTR
if it's both myself and my wife it's Smash-it-Samuel

what a stupid house, why is the bathroom next to the kitchen? why is the kitchen under the stairs?
only 1 bedroom?

my fucking nigga, that's one of my favourites as well, never see it discussed here... one of the best written films i've seen, steven kloves is the man. it's a shame he wasted his talent on that fucking child wizard movies
>tfw you will never be lit student sitting in your comfy cellar during winter and writing your first novel while listening to doris day records...
life surely is suffering familia

...

Dumb and Dumber or Ace Ventura. Really, any comedy with Jim Carrey from the 90s.

>what is your go to comfy movie Sup Forums?

Do people not know what comfy means?

Better Off Dead, or The Ninth Gate.

...

...

found it on some random thread a few months ago

Always know where you stand with Midnight Run

Princess Bride. Nothing even comes close.

Teach me senpai, what movies are comfy?

How do I become like comfy guy, bros?

The comfiest

Do you not understand that one person's perception of comfy can differ from yours?

burrito blanket, comfortable sofa, comfy film, favorite hot drink and you are good to go

Yes, that's how words work. I have my own meaning, you have yours. dumbfuck

Usually a Herzog documentary.

Sooo... don't make a retarded post saying how someone is wrong because you think their movie isn't comfy?

Nah, it has a specific meaning. you just don't know what is. neither does anyone else in this thread apparently

Wat is the comfy? where does it come from?

...

#1 meme film, normie's go to choice when trying to convince people they have good taste.

...

the original book of that made me absolutely furious. the main character was such an unbelievable spineless loser

i've heard the movie isn't anything like the book, though. how is it?

enemy at the gates
fotr
shame
paths of glory

taken,

Basically anything with John Candy is the comfiest

>no meme game in this artstyle

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Withnail & I

Also seconding these:

(500) Days of Summer

...

Secondhand Lions

>Tremors
>Gremlins
>Goonies
>Karate Kid
>Return Of The Living Dead Parts 1 & 2
>The Gate
>Certain TV episodes (especially from Tales From The Crypt, Amazing Stories or the Twilight Zone) and movies like Highway To Hell, The Wraith or My Science Project, Mac & Me (or even Poltergeist) that are set in locations like pic related in the 1980's or early 1990's

That's what makes it so perfect. You are in your own, comfy, private space...But your friends are only a doorway away if you need them.

>tfw you'll never be comfy again unless you live another 40 years and can retire

almost zero reason not to end it at this point

>Return Of The Living Dead Parts 1 & 2

I would have understood if someone thought a zombie movie like Shaun of The Dead was comfy, but fucking RoTLD? There's nothing comfy about that series! It's the only zombie setting with a genuinely terrifying premise!

Hmm I don't know if you're memeing but I actually agree with this.

Maybe the comfiest kino ever, tbqh

Any movie with my gf in our bed

well she left me so no more comfy for my
nomfy

But the meaning is literally subjective, so I don't think you even know what you're talking about.

>Return

Not "Night", "Dawn" or "Day", user.

Both of them involve small groups of compadres holed up together, running, or staving off the Happenings outside.

Part 1 especially features comfy as fuck nostalgia aesthetics, charming comedy and special effects and iconic horror tropes while being about relatable people.

It also features one of the great nude scenes in cinema history and a childhood fap favorite.

Part 2 is like an Amblin flick, but with zombies.

I like that it takes place is a cosy, safe, movie suburb, like something out of the background art of a SNES game, and throws cheesy horror elements into it.

Maybe it's because I spent a large time growing up in shitty ghetto multicultural urban areas that I find the concept of Hughesian/Spielbergian 80's tract suburbs, strip malls and Arizona highways so appealing, even if they might be shit in reality.

The meme started with "Comfy" as in rugged up in a warm, cozy place, away from the harsh (wet and cold) outside elements. With films that reflected that mentality, so generally siege type affairs with snow outside.

It's basically devolved into nostalgia flicks, used in the same way as "comfort foods".

Which is fine by me.

Can't look at this image without imagining this playing in the background.

Goodfellas or The Ninth Gate

Love this one, also Goonies and Lost in Translation for sure.

The Goonies

>watching movies more than once

You don't appreciate film.

you know that was set in summertime right?

like, that's the exact stated timeframe of the entire movie.

...

I know the difference, user. The thing is that you've managed to choose the "Night" sequels where getting killed means you'll spend eternity in pain craving for brains, and which manages to end on the most depressing note of any zombie movie. It would have made more sense if you'd chosen one of Romero's movies, because those have the comfy moments with the small groups and they don't end on such a complete downer ending like the first.

They're highly entertaining movies, but they're the absolute fucking opposite of comfy.

I preferred The Way, Way Back.

...

FotR, In Bruges, or Lost in Translation.

Master and Commander.

Big Fish

top tier choice user

This War of Mine is about survival in a war torn country and it's the closest you get. Maybe Sims if you like isometric.

It has the perspective atleast.

...

This

>mfw comfy

Hey Sup Forums it's me the Bernie Mac comfy show.

Back to the Future 1&2.
I always watch them together.

The first three Indiana Jones movies all come in second... yes, even Temple..

...

>Back to the Future 1&2.
>I always watch them together.

My nigga.

>mfw I always manage to forget that 2 ends on such a big cliffhanger and then have to watch 3 as well, despite it not being anywhere near as comfy

None of my friends are talking to me and I'm starting to think it's beginning.

Literally the only thing I like Wheaton in.

I can't watch this anymore knowing what Corey Feldman has turned into

How about Lost Boys and Goonies?

I watch Mean Girls fine so I can't understand your perspective on it.

I just really like Cameron's character a lot, he resonates with me for whatever reason

Guardians of the Galaxy.

It's quipkino.

Tremors is super comfy.

I like it more than 7 and aside from visuals only things I like are Kylo,Chewie, and senile Han.

I'd probably watch Indy and Mutt like in Last Crusade but Ford looks worse than Connery.

TRON

I like him more than the murderer and I only like husband of horseface in LadyHawke.

LadyHawke is my go to comfy.

Is the show worth watching? We aren't getting another movie probably and I just want something.

Fuck captcha is retarded,

Actually just started watching today. On episode 5 so far.

It's really good so far. Not too cheesy for being broadcast on a children/teen network, yet balanced with enough seriousness that the franchise deserves.

Also it's fucking aesthetic. Everything I want in a cyberpunk setting.

Fucking brutal

Objectively a perfect movie.
