Halloween is my all-time favorite.

...

the only good one in that is the story with the ring. The other two has nice atmosphere, but are drawn out for so long that they become boring

super comfy perfect background movie too

Have any of you guys played Terrordrome yet?

just browse through cinemassacre's latest monster madness videos

the only good post in this thread

any other post is garbage

Saw is a terrible movie, and it shouldn't be in that pic.

Nah the Karloff story is the best

>I get my opinions from ecelebs!

You just can't make this shit up anymore.

>i get my opinions from neckbeards and shitposters

i really dont know whats worse tho

My favorite scene is when the girls are smoking the joint riding around.

I just want to have a threesome with them and my penis.

>dont look now

Mah nigga

Me too family

Blood and Black Lace or Deep Red

Is this horrorkino?

Yes, it's wonderful.

Thanks fampai. I'm going to watch one of those soon since I lack experience in that genre.

Babadook was alright.

Still top tier amazing.

So I watched pic related a couple days ago. I was rather disappointed by it.

Lots of slow build up with no pay off, the killer isn't very prominent, lots of odd choices for a slasher.

For instance, during a chase scene, a woman is grabbed by a war vet in a wheel chair, slowing her down. Okay I guess.

Later in the film, this nerd and his prom date decide to go to a secret area in the gym to fuck. There's F13-esque POV shots of them starting to fuck, and it turns out not to be the killer, but the war vet. They don't die, they're not startled, they're not even shown or mentioned for the rest of the movie after that. It was baffling.

Such a shame too cause I think the killer's design is rather neat.

>Genuine answer:
Possession
Hour of the Wolf
Cat People
Under the Skin
Demons ('71)
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
Diabolique
Phase IV
The Wicker Man
Nosferatu the Vampyre
At Midnight I’ll Take Your Soul
A Page of Madness
Tetsuo: The Iron Man
Deep Red

No. It's essential 'somebody get me a fucking editor' core.

>funny games
mate there's no 1999 funny games

>my face when Alien hasn't been mentioned
Best sci fi horror senpai

my nigger! I watch this every Halloween night along with Black Sunday. Top tier horror kino.

Whats some more good fem-horror? I seem to like those the best since they have more character than regular slasher/monster flicks

>Carrie
>Rosemary's Baby
>The Witch
>Ginger Snaps

I like the old Hammer horror movies

They are camp and nostalgic, quintessentially British and damn comfy as fuck

>Not posting the superior masterpiece of Alien 3
The purest KINO

Pic related
Black Sunday
Black Sabbath
House on Haunted Hill
The Tingler
All of the Vincent Price/Roger Corman Edgar Allan Poe movies (especially The Haunted Palace, which is actually Lovecraft)

Reminder:
>Alien = rape allegory
>Aliens = rape revenge fantasy
>Alien3 = coming to terms, aborting resultant rape pregnancy

...

Does Horror-comedy count?

Huh, shit. Never thought of it that way.

>Horror-comedy

>Alien = Rape
>Aliens = gangrape
>Alien 3 = prison rape

...

>Aliens = gangrape

That movie is as sexless as they come user. Cameron just doesn't have that kind of filmmaker sensibilities.

A+ list, my friend.

>Hellraiser
>Hellbound:Hellraiser 2
>Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original)
>Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2

>Saw 3 (Inb4 people say it sucks, I like this one)
>Candyman
>Cannibal Holocaust
>Cabin in the Woods
>The Omen

>The Ninth Gate

>Man Bites Dog
>Horror

I love that movie but it's not a horror film, not even close.

...

The Devil Rides out had some good bits, but there are better satan flicks (in my opinion). Try The Blood on Satan's Claw or Don't Deliver Us From Evil

>horror

When you guys name these films from like the 20's and 40's are you just trying to appear patrician or does these films actually scare you to this day

seems like a lot of tryharding to appear intelligent in this thread
