DONT 404 ON ME
I think you should consider putting some ever-changing, decreasingly complex (start with wild patterns and end up at straight 4/4 techno beats, over time).
It would make the album much more appealling to the laymen were there some more bass, in the form of kick drums and melodies. Higher pitched lead melodies could help tie things together even more. just some arps here and there, some grabs from a police scanner or a few field recordings, and maybe one or two more layers of pure texture during your intros (or throughout), rising or falling in pitch over time.
Bits of speeches and Nasa radio chatter type shit can be both very ambiguous, mysterious and a lot of it's all in the public domain. Maybe filter sweeping parts of your biggest drone stacks here and there, or pan sweeping parts of them slow and hard left or hard right before returning to near center.
It's one of the better pieces of electronic experimentalia I've heard as of late, desu, I just know you could make its appeal spread a lot farther with a few simple concessions like vocal samples, muted 909 and cr78 drum lines with simple sine tone bass notes and unifying melodies that slowly fall apart into the chaos your album is defined by.

Ok, the following is sort of instrumental hip hop. It's almost 100% sourced from vinyl save for some synthesis in the beginning and a smattering of turntablism in a few tracks.
It's a whole bunch of songs and styles, all mixed together in tune and on time. From ambient to turntablism to instrumentals.

Alright lads, dropping a link to my one and only recorded song. Was looking at some threads on 9/11 this year and heard this bone-chilling phonecall of a guy in the tower when it collapsed, and decided to write a song about it.

Everything about the guitars is just goofy, sloppy, unprofessional, mainly because of the poor mixing of it, really underwhelming. Otherwise it's good, the drummer does a great job in keeping the band together.
holy FUCK this is actual free jazz, not some Bandcamp "experimental xd" bullshit one would expect. The world needs more duos like you guys, I hope you get big

Interesting contrasts between albums. Makes them more listenable and less repetitive x
That sound though, very nice dude. Is that a midi bass by any chance? Also the vocals fit the song to a T x
Didn't expect that. Very nice, you guys are on to something. x
Sorry that you're dad pooped all over the floor again
No need to say anything. You guys are good! x
Recc as always
Crazy shit going down over here. If this is a demo can't wait to hear a full on album! x
recs:
Goddamn, this first track makes Geogaddi sound like the Sesame Street theme. All the background noises and synths work perfectly with the constant 16th note chugging. The way it builds works perfectly. I'll definitely check this out more in depth later.

Pretty good. Harmonies need a tiny bit of touching up, other then that its a nice song

>actual good jazz music on Sup Forums
Damn. Also Exhibit A is really solid.
Its alright, not my cup of tea personally
Damn never thought I'd see anyone from Alberta in these threads. I really like the playfulness of the dynamic but the energy from the vocals needs some improvement. You got something interesting there though so keep working at it!
>giving scaruffi attention
Embarrassing.
Hospijazz is nice
Seems a little too clashing between the synth and the harsh percussion. Not really my thing
>is that midi bass
If you're talking about track 2, no it's not. I just ran my fender jazz bass through a guitar distortion pedal and detuned the bass to DGDG and played with a pick and shredded.
>Harmonies need a tiny bit of touching up, other then that its a nice song
thanks for listening, the album that that song is going to be on is full of a lot of inconsistencies and weird human mistakes but it was honestly a conscious choice to let a lot of things slide for the sake of making the album have character. I don't think that sacrifices anything as I like the inconsistencies and I'm into the weird things that my voice does if I don't watch it.
Genuine curiosity - I've gone out of my way to parse and analyze every track on an album in this thread, and my own work is ignored over and over again. I really want some brutal feedback, does Sup Forums just hate me, or should I review more?

I usually reply back to anyone who's been replying a lot so i dont think in depth analysis is always needed per say since most people in these threads can be total jerks who don't want to help other artists out.
In regards to your mix I like the diversity of styles you use its nice background music. Do you ever produce with any rappers? I'd love to write some stuff over your tracks if you have any 3-4 min songs.
I definitely hand out and sell beats. I have a shitload of short, rap ready tracks on soundcloud.com
and on bandcamp.
Thanks for the explanation. I appreciate.
