It's my least favorite from them, but that's not to say it's bad. I just think it's "choppy", not as composed as the other albums are. There are some really strong moments, like Aeons and We Are, where they utilize the vocalist to his strengths, but it just kind of sounds like they had conflicting ideas of how they wanted the album to sound. Still looking forward to any new material from them.

i totally get that, i hated it at first, i thought the opposing guitars were too jarring to listen to, and i am 99.9% positive that they all had a different idea for the album and decided to mash it all in, like Eidolon really should be on Sound Awake cause of how simple it is
