Nick Drake - Place To Be

Every person I know who attempted suicide wasn't listening to anything while they did it

youtube.com/watch?v=oIscL-Bjsq4

I could see that. Having anything to reciprocate emotional feedback, even if it's listening to a song and being affected by it, would make it tougher to take the leap.

xD

T U M B L I N G D O W N

yeah, the only sound I heard was the howl of the wind outside that window.

This song of course, it even gives you enough time to have a drink or two beforehand if you want.

makes me feel comfy

Easy choice

This is really good

i clicked hoping it was static
3/10 would not suicide to

Static is literally the worst song on the album. Antennas to heaven feels like dying

This. I had planned to top myself to Street Hassle by Lou Reed but instead jumped in front of a bus. Guess I could have worn earphones, wasn't exactly at the forefront of my mind.

My suicide attempt was the most idiotic and selfish thing I have ever done and it appals me that I tried (especially putting others at risk at the same time). Don't do it.

>Even attempting to commit suicide in the first place.

It was seven years ago. All I can say is that I am older, wiser and thankfully happier.

What was your method, if you don't mid me asking?

The part from 5:47 sounds like suicidal euphoria to me. youtube.com/watch?v=4niekJi_L28

I jumped in front of a bus. Was very fortunate, didn't even break a bone - was going slower than I realised but even then was a minor miracle that nobody was hurt.

That's fortunate.

That sounds embarrassing. Anyone who doesn't blow their head off with a shotgun to commit suicide is a fucking retard who never wanted to go all the way through. At least you made it out unscathed.

>being a eurofag with no access to fire weapons
our method number 1 is the good old rope

Antennas to Heaven is a metaphor for the end of the human experience.

not suicide, but acceptance of mortality. when the doctors stop saying 'treatment' and start saying 'arrangements' and 'affairs in order'.

5:02
>the farmer stands and says 'what happened to the land? it used to be fertile. it used to be good when i was a lad.'
>the farmer calls out to his men, says 'it's getting late, boys. it's best you come back in.'

context for the contextually challenged: i am 'the farmer', 'the land' is my body, 'his men' are my life and ties to the world.

first track

>pulse demon under starvation and not electrocution

Came in here to post this.

>tfw legitimately suicidal

is Since I Left You REALLY the absolute best choice for someone choosing life instead of death? Like out of all the albums, that's the one that beat out all others?

why isn't drinking yourself to death a category on this chart

youtube.com/watch?v=-uqaZW20rdg

probably this
youtube.com/watch?v=Pw3dwG8R2rs

Street flash by AnCo.
If I ever get to the point where I truly can't take it anymore I want to drown, always romanticized it even though most of the research I've done says it's horrible with the whole lungs collapsing and desperation thing.

>Neu! '75 cover instead of s/t cover

there's only one song that fits perfectly to how I would die: youtube.com/watch?v=k2SPeEeCj3I

how i want to die is falling from a tall structure while listening to Ágætis byrjun

Damn, looks like I'll have to re-evaluate my suicide method of choice

youtube.com/watch?v=bGNB5giQtso

youtube.com/watch?v=o9gK2fOq4MY

And you love me till my heart stops,
Love me till I'm dead.
