ITT: Perfect Pop Albums

And no i don't mean good pop albums, or albums by pop artists that are surprisingly good.. i mean albums that are perfect in the way that pop music is supposed to be: melodic, emotional and replayable.

I get a lot of belle and Sebastian vibes with that album weirdly. Speaking of I think this matches the description quote aptly

I'd say so in all honesty

People generally don't like it when you do this.

i just thought debut was a more perfect "pop" album as post gets slightly more experimental, although i do prefer post overall

this

fun fact: john cale was the producer of the police's debut album until they got him fired due to creative differences... the group said cale was hopelessly out of touch with modern music - one day they went into the studio and played him zeppelin's "communication breakdown", presenting it to him as if it was an original song of theirs to see if he knew it wasnt... cale began to critique the song as if it were theirs... that's when they knew they had to get rid him..
