there was a movie that came out last year or the year before that was about a guy who was a private security specialist who was in love with his AI that he had a open line to in his implant. it was basically near future. it wasnt full on Cortana and master chief, but there we HARD WAIFU overtones.

newfag scum fuck off
i, Robot

Try Ex Machina
its really easy to miss just how fucking well Her depicts the future.
its so fucking good and subtle. there are little to know helicopter panning shots showing you a bunch of neon coated skyscrapers or anything that hammy. its like its all in the background but there is tons of effort put into it
its very nonchalant about the whole thing. like people are bored with being in the future, so they all try to out hipster each other to the future year of 1978.
new rose hotel, and to a much, much lesser extent, Johnny Mnemonic which wasa hammy as fuck 1990's EXTREME FUTURE, sort of thing. i could see parts of what could be, like the riots, and shitty living conditions but hte tech was laughably off.
I Totally agree.
>that fashion
>that interior designs
>no cars
>smoggy sky
>no Keyboards
And all that without someone in the movie mentioning it
how a worse movie would have handled this
>scene outside the bar
>lets go back to my place babe ill call us a SKY TAXI with my SMART BEEPER
what's it named?
it was reviewed by RLM. it had a guy on a motorcycle, AI, Neo-Noir, murder, dude was a ptsd spazz, fuck, now i have to hunt ofr the name of it.
