Best track - Population Grave

Strong recc

Loving this. The beat is pretty unique, has a vapor feel to it. Your vocals and sense of flow is pretty fucking good too, man. Interested to see what you do next. I really dig the change-up you have halfway through the track, really unexpected and also a pretty unique beat.

oliverbagshaw.bandcamp.com/album/weeping-willows

> new album, recently archived at the British Library in London, and finished producing music and sound edits for a short horror comedy film
> ambient, downtempo, minimal, glitch, gradually turns into something aggressive, hardcore beats, loud glitch, etc

Hope you enjoy, always appreciate any kind of feedback and very willing to return feedback too.

>the last time i ever used vocals on songs
for the better. yuck.

I feel like vocals is something everyone finds a special joy criticising. Like that's the only thing people are noticing. Unless you are him. The vocals are fine by themselves (not worse than Fad Gadget or Rowland Howard), they just don't really go along with the music. Music honestly a bit confuses me, it has interesting moments though, but probably just not a genre I am used to, but it feels like music doesn't really know what it's doing most of the time. I listened to Nobody and it's just seems so unfocused. Vocals don't help for sure.
Next track Rain seems a bit more focused. A simple bass and simple beat is holding it together. Can't go wrong with simplicity. Although feels a bit emotionless, but fine.
Roland Under The Covers so far is the best track. Okay, I'm actually with the other commenter here. What are these vocals lol. You got a nice voice, but your melodies don't sound like melodies, nor does it sound convincing in any other weird quirky way. Not enough quirkiness for this to work. If you gona sing off sing really off.
There is something cool buried in there, I honestly dig it. But it lacks a conviction.

Atlas was pretty great. Reminded me of Neu!

Really liked it. I'd really like to hear you live, dude. You're based in London?

No, unfortunately. I couldn't afford to live in London. I'm in West Yorkshire.

also Jacob Hutto is great

that bass on second track is a banger
that lo-fi filter is a bit too much in my opinion

Really violent and unsafe, reminds me of Hanatarash. You have my follow.

I'll be on the lookout for your next releases. Think that song could have been longer tho.

Didnt like the voice samples much, but the beats were nice and trippy.

Can hear heavy Venetian Snares influence on the drums, and the synths are very AFX acid style. Really good.

Question I have for every artist who makes HNW, Is there any way you could maybe not make the mix louder than every other track in existence?

Recommending youu guys again, pretty badass.

Recommending this dudes shit highly, well produced, and generally badass electronic.

First ever release, based off 1 two hour live synth jam, composed in ableton. Feedback is appreciated

(can be a bit abrasive sounding)

This was actually really fucking awesome, love the random vocal samples and odd snippets of audio. Id say I enjoyed the track that toyed with that alot more than the purely synth based stuff, but all around it sounds like being slipped a heavy dose of acid.
